Will t-mobile T999L S3 work on Rogers LTE? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I am in the delima to whether get a T999L or an i747. There are two sellers one offer me a koodo S3 which I believe is i747 and another seller with T-mobile T999L. The pro of T999L is that it supports AWS band on 3g. But an i747 will work flawlessly on rogers LTE, which is currently I am using.
So which one to get? I am on canada rogers. thank you

Normally you would just need to have your phone unlocked so that other carrier's SIM cards will work. BUT your phone isn't fully compatible. If you get any service it would likely be via Roaming agreements they have.
Most Canadian carriers are running HSPA+ service on 850/1900. Your phones radio supports 850/1900/2100 tri-band.
Wind, Mobilicity, and Videotron to my knowledge use the same odd 'AWS' setup that T-Mobile uses: 1700/2100. Those devices (T999[V]) drop LTE support, they have quadband HSPA+/UMTS radios.
So in a nut shell: an unlocked Bell Galaxy S3 may work on Roger's, Telus, or Virgin Mobile (Canada) but not on Wind, Mobilicity, or Videotron. But an unlocked Wind, Mobilicity, Videotron, or T-Mobile Galaxy S3 will likely work on all of those -- but not get LTE.
If you flash e.g. a Wind modem, you may end up with a brick, or it may work. I don't think it'll work but search the forum first if you dare.
it won't work, it doesnt have the 1700 frequency

Using the S3 AT&T on mobility city

My friend came from the u.s and he has an at&t Galaxy S3 and he wants to use it with mobility city in Canada would he be able to?
What would I need to flash?
Thanks.
As far as I'm aware, it's not possible - Mobilicity uses different wireless frequencies than AT&T.
Your friend would be able to use the phone with one of the major carriers (Telus, Rogers, Bell) if the phone is unlocked.
I believe the model you'd be able to use with Mobilicity is the T999 (T-Mobile's?).

Differences

What is the major differences between Bell, Rogers and AT&T? Other than the M at the end of i747M vs AT&T i747? Looking at specs on all but Bell gets same as AT&T + has AWS( T-Mobile )?
Also would you treat all as AT&T or International for Bell & Rogers?
And if so cam you turn the Bell & Rogers into an AT&T? Or is it already just with Bell and Rogers programming in it?

[Q] Confirmation of AWS (3g for T-Mobile USA, Wind Mobile, Mobilicity and Vidéotron)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068041
Can the same be done on the N7100 or N7105 since the Qualcomm 9215 baseband chip is included? Since the 9215 provides AWS on the T-Mobile T889 and T889V variants of this. Anyone willing to test and confirm? Thanks.

[Q] Which model S3 will work best on Tmobile besides T999L

ok Obviously the SGH-T999l Tmobile version would work best but Im looking to purchase used on craigslist hopefully tomorrow and found no T999L Tmobile s3's for sale.
I have my eye on the metro GSM version T999N which currently is not unlocked but anyways have read that when unlocked it's the 2nd best to the T999L on Tmobile to get AWS and LTE on tmobile?
I also heard the AT&t version works just as good as the T999L version with LTE and AWS??
Also yes I am in a LTE area as I have a unlocked Nexus 4 with LTE enabled currently with 20-30 mbps down so my area is good.
Please clarify if the At&t S3 unlocked model will work the same as the T999L & T999N versions, something about using the same bands as tmobile does for AWS and LTE,
Just looking for clarification as I have searched for hrs and haven't found a definitive answer
thanks in advance
The at&t model won't work as good as a t999l or t999n because it lacks 1700 aws.. But it might be ok in your area as it's likely a refarmed area with 1900 aws that the at&t model supports
Edit: it'll pick up lte just fine though
