You can flash recovery with this method only if you are S-OFF, either use fastboot or a toolkit
And No I will not give a link to any method, use the search function for that

So how do I get rid of the errors so I can flash another ROM or whatever? Thanks for helping a noob
If you're already rooted, you need to boot into recovery. Then navigate to where the .zip (ROM) is located. The instructions to flash should be provided on the first page of the dev's post.
Thank you but, I don't undeerstand. I can find the zip files that I put on the SD card, and go into the recovery screen but when I try and flash any ROM/add on/bootanimation/ I get the eror, E: Can’t Find Update Script" so where is the script? Also, any ieas on the no/wrong image issue?
What recovery r u using? R u flashing chopsuey thru hboot or recovery?

I flashed the Kernal throu recovery.
HBoot> scroll to Recovery>hit power key> Brings up android systems recovery screen> scroll to "Flash sip from SDcard> Select the zip file. That is when I get the E: Can not find update script error.
I am not running the PC36IMG ROM, I am running the SOS_v1.9.0.2-swag but in HBOOT, its looking for the PC36IMG image, are't these issues related?
Google "evo amon-ra xda forums".
Download the PC36IMG.zip.
Copy and paste it in the root of your SD card.
Press volume up to install in hboot.
Once complete, boot into recovery and try to flash the ROM zip file.
Be sure to delete the amon-ra zip file or else it'll just ask if you want to flash when hboot loads.

If you're looking for a bootloader-flashable recovery file, I posted one in the TWRP thread for the LTE.
Hi,
I want to post the data on my bootloader:

I already purchased the phone on alibaba with s-off.
but I do not have root permissions, I cannot do any administrator operation
then install new rom flashing cwm ...
I tried to Flash SUper up from market but gives me this error message:
Runs on this, and not SuperSU cannot install it.This is a problem.
can you help me? I'm not really expert of android and I would not say or make blunders.
Thank you
p.s. excuse -me for another thread, but i don't know delete it.
You can't "flash" something from the market. Flash a Superuser app's zip from recovery. Although, most custom ROMs should include it. What ROM are you using?

this is the file zip:
supersu v. 1.25.zip
First look in your app drawer and see if you have superuser already on the phone, your s-off so your rooted. Second that zip will not install itself in HBOOT you need to enter recovery then flash the zip that way.
1. Enter HBOOT by holding volume down and power button at the same time. (Or hit power button > reboot > recovery then continue from step 5)
2. Let it do all its nonsense of cant identify or error message it gives you.
3. With volume button scroll down to recovery option
4. Power button to enter recovery
5. Pick install from sd card
6. Choose zip from sd card
7. Scroll down till you find zip and install
Then back up to reboot phone screen and reboot then see if superuser is in app drawer. If you run into install issues of zip its cause there is spaces in the zip name. Replace the spaces with lower slashes _ so it looks like one file name. So it looks like supersu_v1.25.zip
Maybe the problem is the CWM recovery. I don't have it, i have only s-off.
what do you do to change recovery and flash superuser?
i tried with EasyAceRootTool, but i don't know because don't work it
Did you look in app drawer to see if you already have superuser.

And how are you trying to flash SU in stock recovery??? I guess that you need doing your homework first. Read and you will find out where you are failing.
I thank you for your good advice, but then I don't understand the spirit of the forum.
I read and read,
I tried before installing SU to install the CWM recovery, but with the tool I can't install it.
I will admit to not having done my homework, but you are teachers and the teachers should teach, right?
I have tried with your advice, I posted what comes out, but nothing happens.
This is your help forum? Many thanks

1. Teachers assign homework for a reason, and students are expected to do it because it helps them learn. Not doing home work and going to class is a waste of everyone's time.
2. In any case, we are not teachers. It is not our obligation to teach you. You are entitled to be taught nothing. You are responsible for your own phone.

If you are S-Off, root the rom you are using or installed a rooted rom.
Sorry guys, this thread has gotten out of hand.
I would suggest all involved review the XDA Forum Rules and make sure going forward that you are following them.

Hey my phone is stuck on the loading screen after i tried to root my phone, if im honest i had no idea what i was doing i was just following a guide i found online and just thought it would all go alright but sadly it went terribly wrong. what i did was unlock the boot loader uses the htc website that the guide directed me to which went smoothly then i went into fastboot mode and ran the file install-insecure-windows from the folder i downloaded called r3-endeavor-insecurebootandroot. my phone restarted and the just froze at the loading screen. i have tried to run recovery and i just get a red triangle and i have also tried a factory reset and that just starts to load and then resets and is still stuck on the loading screen.
my HBOOT-1.39.0000

Ive looked around alot for solutions to my problem but not found one that works.
I really need help but if im honest i dont know alot about what im doing and i know i should have just left it all alone
any help would be greatly appreciated
Relock your bootloader by fastboot oem lock
Download this file and run it with administrative rights - http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...-r-radio-5120416229-release-302015-signedexe/
You'll be back to stock.

Since you have already unlocked your bootloader, you can try installing a custom recovery Like CWM or TWRP. You can then download any custom rom posted in the xda thread and flash it. I personally recommend ViperX. Your phone will be better than ever. It seems like you are new to this so if you need my help flashing then simply ask.
You can also follow the instructions on torxx detailed thread

Maybe a bad download?
Try downloading again. If it still doesn't work, try a different recovery. Personally, I used TWRP while rooting.

Yes... However, you have to flash the boot.img from fastboot..
and before installing the rom.zip.. you have to wipe data/cache/dalvic from recovery.... Or use Super Wipe script : http://d-h.st/kG0

I think I have found a workaround for your problem.
If you have installed TWRP recovery then you will notice that their is a check box labeled 'toggle signature verification'. Make sure it is unchecked(whichever works).
If this works then great.
Otherwise I suggest that you download a custom ROM and flash it.(My personal suggestion)
Everything will be fine. Don't worry.
Steps are as follows-
•Download the ROM you want to flash
•Open the ROM zip with an archive manager and extract the boot.img file out of it and place it in your fastboot directory
•Copy the ROM to your sdcard
•Now boot into bootloader and choose recovery with your volume keys and power button
•In recovery wipe data and cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, etc
•Now flash your ROM by installing zip from sdcard
•If this is finished, reboot and reboot into bootloader again
•Connect your phone to your PC in fasboot mode (choose in bootloader with power button)
•Open a cmd in your fastboot folder with your boot.img and type these two commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
Then simply reboot your phone.
You can download ROMs from the development section.
PM me if you encounter any problems or need any help.
