Maybe not compatible with your ROM? Gravity Box is designed to work with vanilla AOSP ROMs. I know Purity is AOSP-based, but it looks like there are a lot mods included in it. Other than that, I would just say to make sure you are running the latest version of Xposed Framework. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Xposed and Gravity Box.

Easy Fix
You need to install / reboot the xposed framework app for changes to take place.
Good luck.

I enabled softkeys by adding a line to build.prop but when my tab is vertical the softkeys disappear. Is there a way to fix this?

Do I need to modify System.apk? It's weird that TW is not using new lollipop buttons.

I am running notarized stable 2, of 5 and on Sprint Note 4. Lollipop version 5.0.1. Running Nova Launcher.
What is the best way to remove S finder and Quick Connect, and move clock to center?
I searched google and this forum, among others. But I am unsure because the work around is for different phones. I seek clarification.
One way is to alter build. Prop file and set last 3 letters to VZW (verizon).
The other way is using xposed installer and install framework then wanam.
I appreciate any assistance that you can give me.
Install xposed and wanam and you should be able to configure what you want.
Thank you for your reply.
I tried to run xpose installer version (2.6.1 stable) . It gave me an error and said it is not compatible with my version. The install button is greyed out. It says xposed is not yet compatible with Android sdk version 2.1 or greater, or not compatible with my processor architecture armeabi-v7a.

Follow this tread. Install v4 generic and install the app.
I can't install the framework
Congrats, perhaps give 1% and provide everyone a bit more information. Like what "can't install" means, logs, but version, phone-type, ROM, and so so so much more.
Significant lag in SGS3
I noticed a significant lag in my s3 SHV-E210K after installing the xposed framework. However it gets fixed after uninstalling the framework.

Sounds like you should start your own thread as this has, as far as I see, nothing to do with the original post
xposed stopped working
After I installed the marshmallow BL CP files through Odin in order to get an s7 ROM on my s5, it suddenly stopped working. The ROM had build in Closed, but I decided to switch back to CM13. This is what it shows:

Xposed works on stock ROM?
Xposed works great on OOS. Installed GravityBox, no problems at all.

The best module to modify the status bar is Flat Style Bar Indicators. It lets you place the clock anywhere on the status bar and even show date and seconds if you like.

Hi, i'm having a problem with Android N-ify in quick settings. The border seems..... weird. I disabled Style header and enable Fix notification tile.
This never happened in stock 5.0

Great, but it's just luck.
The fact that it works dont deny the fact that the app was not built to that.
