[Q] Partition SD Card Possible? - Nokia X

Currently, my Internal Storage has only ~50MB remaining while my external SD has ~12GB. Is there any way to repartition the sd card to be an extended part of internal storage? Or any app that would free up space in the internal memory. Thanks in advance.

I don't know is this the app u wanted but try this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...m=organic&utm_term=partition+external+sd+card

Well, to give an example. I have a Xolo Q1000, mediatek processor, 4gb internal memory. I had a 16 gb micro sd card on it and through an app called Meteos, i could "repartition" it to increase its internal memory to around 14gb, enough for me to install lots of games on it. Oh and thank you for the replies.

Is it possible to partition a SD card to increase internal memory on my WFS ?. I found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/SD_card_partitioning#Android. I am using a 8GB sd card and would like to split it down the middle so i have 4GB for internal memory. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Clockwork mod can partition the SD card, under advanced -> partition SD card, then choose the 4000MB option and 0MB swap. You still need some script to link it though if I recall correctly.

[Q] Swap SD Card with internal Storage

I am running low on storage on my S4 mini, and with CM11 that doesn't allow moving apps to the SD card things are getting worse.
Samsung has formatted the device is such a way that the internal storage is recognised as "sdcard0", I don't know why they did it and I don't care.
Is there a way to swap my internal storage with my sd card? I have a 32gb class 10 sd card and i think it is more than enough for use as internal storage.
Thanks

[Q] Swap internal and external memory on P6

Help!
I'm running out of memory on my phone!
I only have like 400 mb available on my internal memory but nearly
28 gb on my SD card. But despite that the asks well not download onto that
and I've moved all the "movable" apps into the SD card. So here's the question:
Does anyone know how to make the phone "think" that the external SD card is the internal memory and the provided 4 gb that you can use is the external.
Thanks in advance.
Which rom are you using? In B512 I have the "default storage location" option, and I can change SD card or internal memory.
Option available on KitKat?

So you're on KitKat right (b512) ? And you can swap them?
But do the apps fully download onto the external memory and that annoying
"Insufficient memory" message doesn't appear?
K I'll try it out and see.

Application data is on the SD card, but application is in internal memory.
If you want move applications into SD card, you should use "Link2SD" (require root).
Having 32 GB = no difference then then

I tried using Links2SD before but didn't work. Am i using it wrong, is if so how do you do so? Even so if some part of the app I'd stored in the internal memory then that still means that i can download a small number of apps due to the small space. How do you switch the memories if possible. But how could i move pictures and videos to the SD card (quite done memory is taken up - check previous screenshot) ?
Thanks.

internal storage

Hello, how is it with internal storage?
after wipe all except external SD there is still only 25GB instead of 32... does it mean, that external SD isnt SD but that internal storage?
Some of internal storage is reserved for rom files so because of that is available 25gb. External SD isn't internal storage it is SD card.
so it is normal to have really ONLY 25G?

Adaptable SD on V20A (android 6.0)

Hello,
I have got question about new feature called 'adaptable sd' on android marshmallow.
Info: http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...or-accessed-normally-with-no-additional-apps/
How it works on Lg g4? Can you move whole app on sd?
if i'm right you can format your external storage(SD card) to work as internal storage. this is useful when installing a lot of apps and big ones from the store.
i don't think you can move internal apps to SD.
this will be a way for 16GB phone variants(not necessarily for G4) to have more internal storage.

For me not, Sony SD, no options to format as internal, only normal format.
Strange, this is standard functionality on android marshmallow.
Is there any way to unlock this functionality?
Sounds like how the app Link2SD works by allowing apps on the External SD card.
This is much better than Link2SD, you have true additional internal storage.

Yeah, I can't see the option to format an SD card to internal storage either. At the moment, Link2SD is the next best thing.

Depends, it will still be slower than real internal storage as MicroSD cards are not as fast as internal memory I think.
Actualy, microSD Class10 cards are enought fast for aplication.

I wonder what's the speed of the internal memory.
The internal memory is pretty fast, not the fastest tough. Where the microSD fails is the random R/W part, I would not use it for any resource hungry apps, I do not like lags
64 GB SanDisk Ultra mSDXC UHS-I
First two pics are the internal memory, last two are the SD.
