How can I install this rom? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'd like to install Hyperdrive which is on 4.1.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176752).
My phone is on stock 4.4.2 and rooted. Is it possible to install Hyperdrive?

can't guarantee if installing the apk file for it will work...but downgrading to 4.1.2 will brick your phone

To the best of my knowledge you can flash that ROM just as long as you're not downgrading modem or boot loader.

Because it's a zip file flashed in recovery, it won't flash boot loader or modem, so all's well . KK is a finicky beast, so no guarantee it will work properly...but do a backup and give it a go.

I only have .zip files of custom roms, to flash it doesn't it have to be a .tar file?
-edit-
I'm a noob at flashing, the only "type" of flashing i know is to load GIO_v1.0 at OPS and loading the .tar file (related to stock vodafone rom) at the One Package Option. If I do that it stucks to stock rom only as you know.
Sometimes after wipe phone stops on android logo i dont no why, other idea is you didnt format system to ext4 before flashing.
try to reinstall and don't forget to wipe data/chace

Confused on best way to update from 4.1.2

Hi
I'm currently on Bell rooted stock. I'm not sure the best way to proceed from 4.1.2.
I'm interested in stock or a touchwiz based rom.
Should I flash prerooted stock 4.3 via odin or flash custom recovery and flash a custom touchwiz rom? I'm trying to avoid
Triggering flash counters and Knox.

[Q] CM 11.0 (Kitkat 4.4.2) downgrade to stock ROM?

I have CM 11 flashed on my phone that is rooted. I wanted to downgrade back to any stock ROM for SIM card unlocking purposes. Obviously the CM 11 does not allow SIM card unlocking even with valid unlocking code.
My question is, is that possible? I think the CM 11 upgraded the modem and bootloader, which means there is no way back to older versions.
Can someone please provide some insights? Below are the settings of my phone:

Use odin and flash back to 4.3
I'm on cm11 too. Can I simply flash a 4.3 modem and bootloader?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using XDA Free mobile app
Since you have the 4.3 bootloader on your phone, you came flash any stock ROM in Odin unless that ROM had been compiled for use in Odin. Flashing a ROM that tries to downgrade the bootloader will brick your phone. Look in the development forum for methods to flash back to stock on a phone with a 4.3 bootloader.
Can someone confirm that we can downgrade via ODIN.... i want to reset my phone back to its original settings.
I am in the same boat as the OP

I keep getting this error when I try flashing that bootloader . I tried several Odin's and tried flashing a lolipop ROM with the same error. I wanna try some of these ports but I can't even get the bootloader to flash for the life of me.
