[Q] CM 11.0 (Kitkat 4.4.2) downgrade to stock ROM? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have CM 11 flashed on my phone that is rooted. I wanted to downgrade back to any stock ROM for SIM card unlocking purposes. Obviously the CM 11 does not allow SIM card unlocking even with valid unlocking code.
My question is, is that possible? I think the CM 11 upgraded the modem and bootloader, which means there is no way back to older versions.
Can someone please provide some insights? Below are the settings of my phone:

Use odin and flash back to 4.3

I'm on cm11 too. Can I simply flash a 4.3 modem and bootloader?

Since you have the 4.3 bootloader on your phone, you came flash any stock ROM in Odin unless that ROM had been compiled for use in Odin. Flashing a ROM that tries to downgrade the bootloader will brick your phone. Look in the development forum for methods to flash back to stock on a phone with a 4.3 bootloader.

Can someone confirm that we can downgrade via ODIN.... i want to reset my phone back to its original settings.
I am in the same boat as the OP

Odin is the easiest way, just go into Download Mode and flash away-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2738533-No need to do anything else, this will put 4.4 on there and erase all your stuff including the internal SD, so back it up if you haven't already.

To the best of my knowledge you can flash that ROM just as long as you're not downgrading modem or boot loader.

Because it's a zip file flashed in recovery, it won't flash boot loader or modem, so all's well . KK is a finicky beast, so no guarantee it will work properly...but do a backup and give it a go.

Just an update. It flashed perfectly. No problems at all! Just wish there was a hyperdrive like rom on kitkat :/

stock music app, modem, n9005

hello guys, i have n900t with stock 4.4.2 rooted and unlocked, everything is working fine its just that i have bad wakelock "offload track" from playerpro and i cant get rid of it, in the mean time i deleted stock music player, now i want it back so if someone could upload it or send a stock music apk link pls, twrp flashable or something?
also phone is unlocked im not on tmobile network, sometimes i have very poor reception, in areas where friend's phone goes from 3g to E my phone completely loses communication with network and i cant call or do anything. is there any solution here, try different modem, if thats the possibility for n900t? can i maybe flash n9005 modems (link pls, does it have to be 4.4.2 modem?)
here is my setup at the moment

IF modem change is not possible, i would like to flash custom stock-like lollipop n9005, like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-qs-n9005-lp-t3037655
do i have to use some precautions or just download it, put it on external sd, delete everything and flash with twrp? do i have to first flash stock 5.0 via odin ( i read something somewhere that n900t users shouldnt use odin, not sure )

Can i safely flash a custom rom on this?

I bought this phone as a used phone from a local market, as i love custom roms it'd be great if i can safely flash it on this device? I'm confused because i know Htc is the most complicated when it comes to rooting. Im Currently rooted with twrp installed on this phone. Just wanted to know if the supercid and everything is on point for me to flash any custom rom? Also im not interested in stock roms and the im also worried about losing cellular signals. Because i dont really know of this device was factory sim unlocked or not. Thanks in advance.

Update: i safely managed to flash Insert Coin nougat custom rom on this device. I took the chances and got successful.
Gonna leave the thread in case somebody else gets in the same situation.
Please read the ReadMe thread for finding out why you shouldn't use the SCID on this phone and why you need to be careful with flashing RUUs (hint: you own a CDMA device). In addition, I'd recommend you getting back to a stock state and installing all available OTAs before you flash a custom rom. The needed guides and files should be available in the ReadMe thread, as well.
