Hy,
anyone else is having duplicater or even three or four of the same settings when in "edit" mode of the quick settings?
Where are these settings stored, is there any way to delete those duplicates?

my 838pro, HTC camera v4.0 build 27645 app. an option setting for storage card to store picture has disappeared. the options left are "main memory" and "network". i dont know where this "network" come from.
i've tried to change the registry in HKCU\Software\HTC\Camera\4.00\Strings\Save Location from "Main memory" to "Storage card". it only change the storage location when i start my camera app, but still no option for storage card in the setting. if i changed setting to main memory, i've to change the registry again. Please help..
I had a similar issue and was abe to resolve it by going to settings, connections and an icon called Network Plugin. If you have this option, uncheck the box next to "enable network folder" , soft reset your phone and try changing the storage option in the camera. Good luck.

Thank you for ur response. i cant find that icon. but you gave me an idea to solve my own problem. i found it in my tweaks2k2.net app and uncheck "show network folder". problem solved. Thank you
Also, Resco Explorer...
Options / Addins / Network / "Expose network folder". Thanks CraigPasi for pointing out the issue! I have been fighting this for litterally MONTHS now!
I got an issue there as well, although I don't know if this can be linked to that:
When I on the camera, it will always ask whether I want to use the Storage Card as a folder where to save the snaps, but it won't work, snaps are still saved in main memory, and it asks again and again the same whenever I start the camera...

Download Advanced config from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070
Install it, the run it. Under the Phones drop down un-tick "show sim contacts"
That should solve your prob.

Hey everyone.
As the topic says, I'm wanting to know if you can put a password on your text messages. I had a quick google browse and I couldn't find anything. People like to pick up my phone and go through it, I don't mind that, but I don't like people reading my messages. I'm sure there are other people like this, I don't want a password on the phone, just the messages. If anyone knows how it'd be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Maybe give TXTcrypt from the marketplace a go.

Handcent?
I don't use Handcent SMS anymore but I remember it has a password protect function. I see a thread over on droidforums complaining that the first few words of the texts still show in the status bar, though. Have you tried Handcent?
Edit: Just looked over on Cyrket and I see EStrongs Security Manager will password protect individual apps. Looks promising.
Handcent only shows the words in the notification bar if set to do so, just untick the "privacy" box in settings and it will no longer be a problem.
Handcent > Settings > Notification settings > Notification settings > Privacy mode.
I'm using "App Protector Lite"
It does exactly what I want it to do! If anyone else is interested, you can password or pattern(like lockscreen) protect ANY application!
It's great
Hi all.
Just looking for some help from those who have used the 'Media Servers' function on the HTC M8s.
Media Servers can be opened through the options menu of the music/gallery app, probably others. If you click the 3 dot options menu again you get 3 choices? Tell me if I'm wrong.
Refresh, Collapse All, Top of Folder
I'm trying to explore these options/functions but my phone's simply being a pain. Refresh is working though, just re-searches for servers, but the other 2 options are not responding currently. Simply put, what are 'Collapse all' and 'Top of Folder' meant to do? I just want to know what is meant to happen here thanks!
Any help is really appreciated!
Is somebody else having this problem?! When entering submenu Google -> Location there is two menus, Google Location history and Google Location sharing. They are both greyed out! I can enter in these submenus and after i make some change there and return back to Location menu, they are still greyed out. Thank you in advance and sorry if i'm asking something which is already answered somewhere else!
Anybody, somebody, nobody, ... even some glimpse, please
I know it's an old thread but did you ever find a solution?
