Why dont you guys understand ?
This tool only increases the size to display and not the actual memory . So it will show 4gb but you wont be able to put more than 2gb of data . Moreover This Slows the transfer rate (not sure about this one )

From my understanding the inc2 and majority of today's "smartphones" can only access up to 32gb of external memory. I have yet to see a 64gb card installed in any phone.
I could be absolutely wrong in my assumption.
Sent from my ADR6350 using xda premium
Did a quick research and found out that anything above 32gb would be classified as a SDXC card which would not be read by current smartphones.

plenty of music (32gb alone), movies, videos etc.... I have Google Music, but I would also like the option of not having to stream online to listen to my music.
Just installed the 64GB microSDXC card from SanDisk and it works just fine. Formatted the card in the phone and copied all my stuff (music, pictures, etc.) over. Only problem I've run into was Astro FC, but a quick reinstall fixed that. Sure is nice to have a room for more ROM backups now.

Can you offer some more info like what Rom you are running etc?
My first suggestion is to do a full wipe and re-install the ROM. Most "quirky" errors are resolved by doing a full wipe and re-install.
Format the internal sd card and flash back to stock with odin. I had the same thing happen to me when I used that app2sd script

Some zip archive files as well as any cwm backups you may have will not show up on the internal storage reports. To get a good picture of your actual storage usage and available disk space you need disk storage analyzer app - I have seen a couple people here recommend one from the play store, I don't remember which it was though.
You can search for one or maybe someone who knows of a good one will pop in and say.

I am so sorry. Phone is 100% stock AT&T 4.0.4 not rooted or anything. I'm sorry if this stuff seems elementary, but I came from a iPhone and I did mod and jailbreak and all that to it so I know my way around apple products but this phone has been a little bit of a learning curve. I just got sick of apples subpar hardware... So I moved to android.

Ok I can accept that. But what is really the free space? It shows 12.05gb of space. I know the OS and other system type stuff is taking the other 4gb that would total the 16 of the phone. But even the math of the doesn't add up in settings/storage.

The system partitions aren't represented in the storage manager. Reason being: you can't change it. It's only showing what you have available for apps and your own files.

You really can't. Phones aren't like computers, where you can just go buy a stick of RAM and pop it in. Hardware for phones is so specialized for the phone that you need the part intended for that phone.

lmao!
you cant upgrade your ram via a download
but what you can do is optimize your device to have more free ram.
Drill a hole in your device, it'll get a lot of free space, and your phone will automagically turn into a RAM beast!

RAM is hardware, not software. So it can't be downloaded.
I made one thread about that. the to better do is download " zdbox" on playstore and close the apps open, and if has a root acess, close some programs at system too.
Guys why dont you just tell him the truth. :rolleyes :
Yes you can optimize your ram by downloading more BUT it takes gb from your sd card
It partitiosns your sdcard and sends the second partition to the ram.
For example you have a 16gb sd card. Allocate 1 gb to ram. Sorry thats the highest that can be partitioned!
Good luck!
Ive done it to mine I need now have 3 gb of ram!!

In essence RAM is part of your phone and can't be upgraded, it's part of the board inside your phone.
Android manages the amount of ram that is available for the OS to use. You can use memory management tools to force free ram, but the OS does the best it can to give you memory when you need it.

When I first got my N7105. The internal SD card read speed was great
over 50MB/s read speed, Then it dropped to 48MB/s after few days.
Today I ran Antutu benchmark and other SD card tester.
It decreased to 28MB/s read.
The write speed is intact though, around 19-22MB/s from day one till now.
Anyone knows why and how to restore the read speed back to where it should be?

Yeah I will try to edit the build.prop and increase the read ahead if I can't find the cause. This is my last resort.
Because in my experience increase read ahead that much will have negative effect as well. IE read really small files speed will decrease.
read larger files will have speed boost though.
Solved!!!
For god knows why, I uninstalled GTA III and delete it's game package/data.
The internal storage read speed back to over 50MB/s ..
I thought it's really weird :/

There are two ways that u can play heavy games...
First is swap the storages , and last is using DirectoryBind app and create a link like shortcut at internal storage.
both of them require root. I recommand to use DirectoryBind. that's more safety than swapping.
