I'm furious! I just updated the latest OTA update and when it booted up, the phone had factory reset itself, i lost everything i had and it doesn't even let me auto sync all my apps again. I had all my contacts organized in a very peculiar way and i lost HALF of them. I'm so pissed right now, what kind of service is this?
Which room are you using? stock or custom? What is your find 7 model? X90??? What file system had your sdcard? Standard fat 32? Removing card and reboot doesn't help? Can you read your card with a card reader at your pc?

The sd card shows but to no avail. I was using the stock Color OS. I can't switch to a custom ROM as of now, i need my camera fully working.
This sounds like your card is not formatted properly!?, maybe the filesystem is no more supported -I don't think so, maybe a virus, I'm not very sure about this. Can you check your sdcard at a pc with card reader? Is there relevant data on your card (better had there been) else try to format it! Sounds not like a normal error, recommend you post this bug in official oppo forum!

What do you mean with, the sdcard shows but to no avail?

Put your sd card in an adapter and put it in your PC and copy all files to a folder on the PC (you should be able to mount it OK)
Format the SD card (back in the phone) and mount it via USB or adapter
Copy the contents of the folder on the PC back to the phone, reboot and install your apps again. Most settings from previous apps will be present (mine were including sygic) and the important stuff
Install 'purchased apps' from the play store and install any you have forgotten about.
Use the built in backup program on your phone to make a backup.
This is the best I can offer and should guarantee no further loss, or at least make it easier to restore in the future

Hi,
I cannot post to this ROM thread, on development forum, so I'm posting here.
I have a problem with this ROM, maybe someone can help me... My phone does not recognize the SD card when I have this ROM installed. All is fine in recovery mode, SD card works perfect then, but when I boot my phone normally, my SD card is not present. I have a SanDisk 32 Gb 10 class card. Everything work perfect on Gen.Y ROM.
Thanks in advance!

Album/Music widget is ok to see photo/mp3 in SD card,
but HTC Locations can't read SD card.
I saw others have the same problem posted in Desire HD thread,
maybe we'll get a fix for this.

Installed link2sd, after open app show all app I download from google play on sd card. Only app come by default on phone memory
Is there an easy way to do it with the LG G Pad 8.3 without rooting the device?
No, but with Root you're able to use foulder mount and with this app you can move app data to SD.

GL to SD lets you mount folders for free. Folder mount lets you mount 3 folders max (obb folders excluded) unless you pay 2.5 euros.
Cool. Sounds like I'll be rooting this tablet as my next step.
anyone knows how to spend the app to sd? will not let me because it says that memory is emulated ... thanks.

Is your phone rooted?
You can try editing the platform.xml file as described here...worth a try.

does not work, the program tells me it can not move to the sd because your external device has primary storage which is emulated from internal storage . You can enalazar palicación to move your files to your sd card .
any ideas?

Have you tried using AppMgr III by Sam Lu? It seems to work for me though not every app is movable - bear in mind I am using flyme rom 4.5.2 not the stock rom.

You'll probably have to root or try the already rooted flyme rom unless anyone else has any bright ideas?
Try FolderMount!

Just found an app that moves obb to sd card look on the play store for an app called GL to SD from tnslf2kk. Root is needed!
You have to launch the app from within the app or it will re-download the obb files.
Or you could just install the obb on sd xposed module and move whatever data/obb you want to sd and start app/game as normal through the launcher.

Anyone know how can i use Link2sd on Elephone P8000? I want to use the second partition of my sdcard to link my applications data. I've partitioned the sdcard. Link2sd see the second partition and asks me the file system of this partition (ext2, ext3, ext4, fat32 ecc). I tried all of this file system, but Link2sd says all times me "invalid argument".
Sorry for my English!! I hope that you can understand me
Well depends on if you partitioned your Sd card well try the process again
Sent from my Lenovo A328 using XDA Free mobile app
i am wonder too how to send big data to sd? have you found a solution for that problem?
UPDATE:
just install gl to sd from google store. Works fine. Shame that Folder Mount not works with Elephone P8000...
UPDATE 1:
Folder Mount works too. Here the solution.
I tried like 10 apps to move the apps to my sd card and none worked, i found one working and i managed to move some apps but most of them are not movable.. i tried editing the platform.xml file but when i opened it it was already edited like said in the tutorial. Im on Eragon v7.2.0
Hey guys.
I tried searching for my problem, and I'm not entirely sure it got it right.
So, I got the S4 Mini, and use CM 12.1 (by FAK, built 20151005) and CWM 6.0.4.6.
Works like a charm, thanks for that and the idiot-proof tutorials on that.
8GB storage being not that much, I bought a 32gb micro SD card to enhance my storage.
From what I read before, Android got problems using SD cards properly since Kitkat.
So, now my problem:
I partitioned the card as fat32 (as was somewhere described) not sure if that even ist the right choice ^^
Now when I install some app vom Google Play Store, I can't even choose SD card as storage, it goes straight to internal.
In Settings, there is no option to make SD card the standard storage.
Only thing I can do is "move app to sd", which seems to work, as all the apps are gone when I remove the SD card and start the phone.
But somehow the internal storage is still as full as before moving them, and the external SD is not close as full as it should be.
Having 8GB internal storage should leave me with about 5,4GB usable storage. I only left the GApps on the internal storage (Chrome, Play Store etc) which add up to ~700mb. So there should easily be 4,5GB free internal storage, but I only get like 1,2GB.
My SD card on the other hand, says it just uses ~400MB, when it should be 1,5GB or even more.
Is the only solution trying working with "Link2SD" (does it even work properly?) or is there anything I did miss?
I tried reading up on some stuff, but there is just so much, and I didn't really find something fitting my problem.
Thanks a lot in advance, guys!
Would have postet screenshots from my settings, but I'm not allowed yet, sorry.
That's what I did.
Create two partitions on the SD card, using mini partition tool.
First part is FAT32 second one is ext-3.
Using then Link2SD will now detect the ext-3 partition and request then a reboot.
All APS can now linked to the ext-3 partition manually or if configured automatically.
I'm using 10gb on ext-3 and rest for fat.
Hey nikon. Thanks for your answer.
If there's no other solution, I'll try that.
What I don't get, why only 10GB on ext-3? and then ~20GB as fat32?
edit: ok, tried using link2sd, but doesn't work, because apparently it isn't rooted? when I start l2sd, it asks which partition to use, I check ext2-ext4, and it says "mount script cannot be created - not allowed to su"
I guess su means superuser, which means, it isn't rooted. But I got CWM and CyanogenMod installed, shouldn't it be rooted??
I'm confused
That was enough for me
Music and Video is still on FAT so you can get access over USB. If you put everything on ext this one is blocked during USB access.

Ok, just thought of that. Sounds good, but I still got to root my phone. Any idiot-proof way to do this?
As is said, I already got CWM and CM 12.1 installed, any easy way to root, so I can use link2sd?
edit: nevermind, 2minutes google solved this one
Thanks man, nikon. Gonna try out link2sd like you said.
