Trust me friend 4.4.3 is much better than 4.3 in terms of lag and battery usage. You'll not regret upgrading to this one. The change log proves it. If you want you can look it up. And I have also tested on other devices too.

I don't know man. Nexus 4, being a stock android phone, straight from Google, dissapointed me SO much that I can't tell you. Dwon from 3.5 to 2 hours became my OST. And this note.. MANNNN.. yesterday I reached 6h 39m of OST and still 11% of juice left. I know the mAh is higher here but still, its just 1000 mAh higher and it has TouchWiz skin on top, so that should make up of the difference.
BDW, you might help me explain the sh*t Google did with KK update... When seeing the battery life, on JB The AWAKE meter was always lesser than SCREEN ON. However, on KK AWAKE meter and SCREEN ON are both same.. Even at times the AWAKE bar is higher than SCREEN ON.

It must be the OTA 4.3 stability update which is delayed release for Indonesia . Hardly doubt you would notice anything different to review

Well, I remember ... cause I was a Nexus owner since Nexus one, seen pretty much most of the mistakes. But frankly they learn from their mistakes and 4.3 just like 4.2.2 was quite a mistake, so was the first KK update. That is the reason they quickly update the revision numbers to make up for it. Plus talking about those meter reading they are comparative can't really judge them exact. It's always better to judge them exactly by numbers using maybe battery stats or something better.

I would bet my left nut that this is Jelly Bean getting developed or it is done. I really don't have much to lose though since I had a vasectomy 6 years ago. Maybe that is too much information...
It would be nicer if it smelled like Sex and Candy(it is a Marcy's Playground reference for you younger ones). Anyways, just thought you would all like to know. BTW, it said ZV2 last week even though our phones are on ZV8.

With most Samsung phones they use a combination of letters and numbers that correspond with the date the build was made.
On LG they use an ordinal numbering system. So 2 comes after 1 and the next would be 3. We are on the 8th build. The rdf page shows that a 9th build has been made.
Another difference is that Samsung would constantly change the version because they were working on the build. With LG the next build should be number 9 but if it is constantly changing we won't know because there is no date associated with it. So, we don't know if it is progressing or done. We just know it is there.
I might reach out to someone in the know and ask. It would be nice if someone could just leak it.

I believe what you see their is just The source code. We need the update to leak before we can flash anything. But it's a good sign that the source code is already out for an update that hasn't pushed yet. LG is looking better now they just need to get jb out so we can wait again for the next update
Well, that kind of sucks. Updates and bug fixes are always good. But, it would have been nicer if they were building jelly bean rom.
That pretty much seals the deal though. Since the source says that it is ICS it has to be ICS. I think the chances of 4.1 or 4.2 this year are zilch now. Maybe if the International version gets updated we can get a solid port. I happen to like this UI.

My few hopes for zv9 a new modem/radio\baseband whatever you want to call it they need to update it. I'm standing about 100 yards from a cell tower and I don't get anything better than 89dbm the handover from lte to 3g is bad and it takes far to long to pick up lte. I can wait until early 2013 for jb as long ad I get a bug free build but we shouldn't have to.

This ROM is not a CleanROM. Its a stock rooted and all yours!
CSC Files are the files that tell your phone what kind of phone it is. For example; if you use the AT&T CSC files then this will convert the ROM to the AT&T version (sans the data icons) and allow you to access the AT&T Apps in the Play store. It will also set the APN automatically, etc...
If you want a CSC built from your carrier please post the name of your carrier and if you can the CSC files and build.prop.

Let me know if you need help. Beyond Compare will make it a lot easier. They ahve a 30 Day trial if you have never used it before. I use it daily and had no issues forking out the cash for the paid program.
Especially when hopping from old base to new base you can easily see the low level changes.

Oh and I talked wiht th MWC Apop guy and sent him the framework files he needs and he said he would add it to his collection so we can also get MWC!

Lol. Just letting you all know I reflashed this without the att csc. I didnt like using photo artist to edit gallery. I like using the s3 editor instead and the rom without csc picks it up in the menu button in gallery.

Scott. Do all the dl stock roms have only the green battery color. I thought when I was unrooted it turned yellow then red. On tbus rom ir stays green. Is it just how the 7150 build is or is something broken?

No, I think that different variations will have different battery colors.
I looked at the SysUI and noted that too!

Some people want root and don't want custom roms that break stuff. I used to be a rom flashing whore but now i just root and de-bloat the stock rom.

Same here just got my note 2 three a days ago then i rooted it on 2nd day, hope when it will not broke the root capabilities when updating that was expected on dec. 27..

I've stuck this for a bit, until the hubbub dies down. From what I've read, if you're just rooted but have stock recovery, non modified status, and no flash counter set at 1 you should be able to get the OTA. We'll see. I'm rooted and have only disabled the bloat. TriangleAway did a good job of resetting the counter. I have no burning desire to flash another ROM, just root and debloat. I suppose I should switch back to Touchwhiz until after the update....

That's weird I am rooted (with ExynosAbuse) and none of the status's have been touched, not even the ugly yellow triangle at boot. Of course stock recover . See for you'r self:

Ya. Go to date and time. Un check network provided values. Change the day to one day ahead.

I've noticed that Engadget often trumpets dubious software-delivery rumors as facts in an apparent quest for page hits. Here, they post an email "from AT&T", but they don't say who exactly sent it. Some low-level customer service rep, perhaps? It would be very odd for AT&T to announce this news only to Engadget, but Engadget is the only source so far (not counting the sites that are just repeating Engadget's claim).
I hope Engadget got it right this time, but until someone confirms the OTA update, I'm highly skeptical.
New update is rolling out (98.15.66.XT907.Verizon.en.US)
It IS safe to root AND unlock. Root with djrbliss' Motochopper root exploit.

Here's hoping this fixes my issue: when on bluetooth calls, I have to disable wifi or my BT connection drops, lol. Sounds like it might have been addressed.

My mom has this phone.. I have been itching to root and unlock... She doesn't want me to, but then again.. I paid for it! HA! :angel:
The update has some nice fixes in it.. everything she has been dealing with .. the Wifi ... all of it has been an issue since I got it ... I may work on it this evening and get a custom rom on it.. What is most solid to flash?? Not trying to hijack!!!!

If you unlock, not many ROMs will work without the devs fixing it. I'd say root and then install safe strap. Eclipse is pretty solid. Cm is meh.

Anyone updated yet? Im particularly interested in the Wi-Fi and Camera improvements. Maybe ill hold out on flashing Eclipse for now.

When you get the notification, hit download but don't hit install. It should be somewhere on the internal storage.

I'm excited for this update too… .my main concern is maintaining my root so if anyone could just post on here that voodoo ota works or any other method to preserve root is viable that'd be awesome.

The newest method at droidrzr should work with the latest update.

The update is downloaded to the /cache directory and you need to be rooted to access it and copy the update.zip to your sdcard before you run the update.
You can do this with a root file explorer.
Mattlgroff also made a utility for pulling the update from /cache if you don't want to do it manually.

I got the update today direct from Moto after signing up to soak test before it is released to the public, so I guess maybe after a week it may go public. Seems much faster and wi-fi is better. Have not tested some of the other fixes yet.
- Improved Wi-Fi connectivity;
- Voice volume has been improved at set level;
- Camera improvements in touch-to-focus, notifications and low light performance;
- In-call audio is routed to ear piece while connected to headset has been improved;
- Video streaming pixelation has been improved;
- Support for Mobile Device Management has been improved;
- Media sync with Back Up Assistant Plus has been improved;
- Visual Voicemail connectivity improvements have been made.

I recall on my beloved Samsung Droid Charge, when we tried to install an OTA update on a rooted phone with CWM, it would soft-brick the device.
So wonder how long before the great developers at XDA port over Galaxy note 3 rom for Galaxy note 2 (hopefully has wifi calling). So is any one else hoping to see this or is it just me?

Lol no biggie.the post I made about flashing it was before I read the whole post of the link you provided, came back to say I wasnt gonna flash it and noticed the others saying not to. I tend to stay with stock style roms. Was wondering if someone will try and get the note 3 rom to work for our device

Check out Tweaked ROM, most of us in this thread use it. Great ROM. Based on stock, but with more options, one of the most unique ROMs I've used, and my favorite. Stopped me from flashing everything.

Did not know about icon themer. but I do now. thanks! it always drove me crazy that stock lockscreen and such would have stock icons, I used the DCikonz and they are amazing

hopefully this gonna fix the N2 modem error....cause looks like N2 is not designed for 4G-LTE
on other phones I don't know...but on Samsung Galaxy N2 and S4.....LTE stands for Line Transmission Error

haha I dont have any problems with my n2 just hoping to get the new rom and the new features that the n3 has instead of having to buy a new phone, cause would have to buy a new phone every 6 months to have the up to date hardware and software
