Hello, I had cyanogenmod 10 installed in my samsung galaxy ace 2, today I decided to go back to gingerbread stockrom, I installed it using odin. My problem is that after I installed it the phone reboot but is stuck in the logo and when I try to go into recovery mode it doesnt work, it is stuck in the logo aswell. Do you know why? Can someone please help me to fix this problem.
Please let me know
Thank You
Sound like you flashed "normal" GB FW over CM10... This will not work correctly...
I recommend to flash an 3-Parted FW which overwrites all partitions...
Which Phone do you have exactly? 8160 or 8160P (with NFC) ?
I hope ODIN Download mode is still working? If yes use the linked FW according to your Phone:
For 8160 (non-p!!! without NFC)
https://disk.yandex.com/public/?hash=/zqZ3hO+5ywX2k49+Jam82OsW3/yjdXoARzJAIFaCE0=
For 8160P (with NFC)
http://d-h.st/fWn
Extract the file and set ODIN as mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426437
If something is not working do a complete factory reset/wipe data and wipe cache in Recovery Mode afterwards...

Hi Guys
My stupid friend wanted to flash his Gio (Gingerbread 2.3.4). He rebooted to recovery, flashed update.zip (root zip), and after that, without rebooting, he flashed (maybe rather he wanted to flash ) CM9.
Now he got a white screen after pushing power button. Nothing more happens. Recovery works (Home+Power combination). What to do?

Any tutorial?
Here's something
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1573628
But:
"Flash a recovery with your specific filesystem (EXT4 or RFS)-(If you have EXT4, download ext4 only, don't get ext4+rfs)"
Recovery in this phone works fine.
Maybe there's a way to re-flash phone using this recovery?
download this rom and flash it with recovery remember to use px recovery link for it mirror.phiexz.com/
rom thread it is based on stock rom but extremely fast link forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683638
he can flash px-recovery,then cm9(dont forget to do wipe)
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2

Hi there!
Im trying to fix my phone for 3 hours, but i did not find any solution for my problem.
So the story:
I tried to upgrade to JB 4.1.2 (i had MIUI), i went to recovery mode, wiped user data, then dalvic cache, and cache, after that, i turned off my phone and flashed 4.1.2 through Odin. Odin said PASS, then i disconnected my phone, turned on. Stuck @ Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 screen.
I tried to re-flash the stock 4.1.2 rom, still the same thing happened. Then i tried to re-partition the phone (inserted PIT and 4.1.2 stock rom), nothing
I can not enter recovery mode, only download mode

Hi,
My Ace 2 is bricked. When I turn on my phone it stays on the Samsung logo.:crying::crying:
I can not get into the recovery but I can get into the service mode.
I tried to flash gingeberd and jellybean with odin. But when the device reboots it stays on the Samsung logo. U8500 USB drive appears on the computer ROM.
Any help?
Any can help me?
Flash 3.Parted full FW according to your phone... Be sure that you pick 8160 or 8160P according to your phone
Use the GB Version (if you have 8160P) For 8160 we have only GB...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53921158&postcount=8
Set ODIN as mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426437
Thank you very much for responding.
I'll try it
I have try this method and flashed the three file(Code, csc, pit) throgh Odin3 v3.07 with "Auto Reboot", "Re-Partition" "F. Reset Time" flags marked. Flashing is apparently succesfull (whith "PASS!" status shown and phone rebooting), but still stuck at initial logo.
Still no recovery mode?
No :crying:
mmmm - strange - is it an 8160 or an 8160P?
If 8160 (non-P) try the leaked JB MB4
http://getwapi.com/search/view/zip/WNlx-UxLba/I8160-EUR-I8160XXMB4-136126789.html
Klick on Download I8160-EUR-I8160XXMB4-1361267890.zip
There is no PIT file - Use the one I attached.... de-pack it first (of course)
It is a gt-i8160.
I'll download it. This afternoon I install.
Thank you very much.
Some more things to try... if MB4 does nothing...
Flash again GB 3-Parted...
Don't let the Phone boot - go directly to Download-Mode again
flash with ODIN - Kernel with CWM for your phone....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1435144&d=1351351603
Out of this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32682067&postcount=644
Try to go direcly in CWM Recovery mode after flashing Kenel.... If you are in CWM do format SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, INTERNAL SDCARD...
Go directly in Downloadmode and Flash 3-Parted Again.... Hopefully it will boot....
hi,
It does not work.
I have tried from odin and I've tried from heimdall.
When I flash the http://d-h.st/AZN.
I realize the steps described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426437
But I get the error: There is no pit partition.
I have looked with heimdall and the partition is in the system.
I've tried installing I8160XXLI2_CWM_5.0.2.6_ANT.tar.md5 in PDA section.
Setting the phone to restart and when restart the phone is locked. I can not start . To start I have to remove the battery and put it. And I can not go to recovery.
It only shows the logo of Samsung
Thanks,
Alejandro

As usual I recommend to flash 3-parted full GB FW with ODIN 3.07 - Your data is away then...

Hii i already try that way, but nothing has changes. Still stack at samsung logo and no recovery
Trying to fix a friend's GT-N7105. At the moment it just bootloops the Samsung bootloader screen (which shows the model number GT-N7105).
I can boot it into download mode just fine. On download mode it just says that both the "Current Binary" and "System Status" are "Custom".
I've tried flashing the stock ROM for the phone (the latest for the Optus version) with Odin. I've also tried doing a firmware restore through Kies 2. Both of these complete fine, but the phone continues bootlooping the Samsung logo.
I've tried directly flashing the newest bootloader with Odin, and I've tried flashing a custom recovery with Odin. I've tried flashing the stock firmware with the device's PIT file and re-partition selected. Nothing seems to change how the phone behaves. I can't boot into recovery mode (it just continues the Samsung logo bootlooping).
The emmc doesn't seem busted, since it happily downloads the full system.img when flashing. Odin/Kies finish flashing without errors, so I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Make sure that you have pressed power + volume up + home button to boot into recovery (maybe you have known already)
And try to format everything: data, system, cache,...Wipe everything. There should be some adb commands to do it without recovery. After that reflash stock ROM again to see if it work.

Thanks for that. This seems to be for the N7100. I tried flashing that file both as is and when replacing the included recovery with one appropriate for the N7105. Still just boots back to the bootloader (looping, same as before). Certainly didn't make anything worse.
If I leave it alone, sometimes it randomly makes it to the animated Samsung logo, where it plays the boot sound (dun dun dun duuun dun), but then this animation loops forever (I have tried leaving it overnight).

sorry to hear that
i think N7105 differs from N7100 {modem & kernel (boot*img ) }afaik, I cannot confirm
anyhow I did not find an alert from the developer regarding this matter (N7105/N7100) in his post
