I have downloaded many ROMs and installed it successfully, but when I restart system it hangs long at green logo...
note: I have encountered this problem with more than ROM and I attached what I downloaded
Only (CM-10.1-Release-Candidate-v3.0-[OWLPROJECT]) worked well.

Change your recovery and try again. Before that you need to wipe everything except sd card.

I did...
As I say I installed (CM-10.1-Release-Candidate-v3.0-[OWLPROJECT]) ROM and it works well.
I tried installing other recoveries else (OWL 0.1.2 or CWM 5.0.2.8) and the device hangs too, at the htc green logo.

My problem not in flashing or any method, I have installed roms on my friend's device and all was done OK, only my device hangs, is there a hardware problem or something like that?

hey not sure really but try installing another kernel like I saw a post on xda that solve hangs at boot Rom for wildfire s . try download installing the kernel in the link below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2194253
remember first install the Rom you are having problem with then immediately after installing Rom without wipe install the downloaded kernel and reboot.
that should work.

my wildfire s screen doesn't respond when I flash any Rom but boots okay, have tried installing different recovery, Rom,kernels but to no avail, screen still unresponsive but if restored back to stock screen works well without problem.
and its s-off with hoot unlocked using bltools and also gained super cid with it.
have tried tp calibration but after informing of places phone on a horizontal bla bla bla instead of running script, it shows "step 1 NG" and hangs there till battery drain or pull out battery and I don't know what else to do in solving this problem .

Hello, yesterday I rooted 1st time my DHD with this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841076
everything went perfect etc after that I downloaded ROM 'TashakBate' 200mb~
after that my DHD went crazy :< and now I can't do anything I cant even unlock it
so any ideas what can I do?
If there was already post like this sorry I couldn't find it.
Hi there,
Okay the process you linked (assuming it went well) should have provided you with a rooted device with S-OFF.
Have you tried rebooting the phone into recovery? Did you download your ROM via ROM manager? At what point did your phone start "going crazy"?
As much information about the issue as possible will help us to help you

try to re-flash but Do fullwipe (fact.reset, data caché, and dalvik before flash, and after do battery wipe)
in adition... you revised the "buglist" of this ROM?maybe there´s something that provokes it.....

ok you are in the correct way... your device is claming for the pd98img file
now you must to download the PD95IMG file for restore your device...download it from here..
http://www.multiupload.com/BTJ8KY0KH9
its a .zip file...
then you should to put this file into the root of sd-card... repeat not in any folder...
later... when you pasted it into sd (with a card reader, or with another device)... put the sd into your device again, reboot again into bootloader, enter in fastboot and wait for an automatic installation of this file...
(later press my thanks button and enjoy again of your new DHD lol)
remember... after flashing pd98img file you are going to adquire the 1.32 oficial version of android 2.2 (the older) for flash another rom you know that you must to root again, and install THE RECOVERY for issues like this...
next time read step by step everything before flash anything... yiu´re not bricked your device for a few...

Sorry for the late reply Trying to s-off downgraded to 1.8.*.* Rom unfortunately my brother updated from HTC.
My girlfriend's HTC Desire reset the other day and now won't get passed the pink loading circle.
It was a GSM T-Mobile UK branded handset. A few months ago it started getting really laggy and had low space errors. I S-Off'd it, rooted and installed MildWild CM with the CM7r2 hboot.
I'm wondering if I should start from scratch and go back to the original software and re-root and re-install MildWild, any thoughts?

I'm just worried about the phone doing the same thing again, losing everything every few months, and the use of the phone for a while isn't great. Are there any common reasons for getting stuck on boot like this?
Mainly system errors.
Installing the same rom without clearing data will not make you lose anything. Just wipe cache, dalvik cache, and flash rom.
Right, i've got my hands on the phone now:
I can't get into recovery, when i select it from the bootloader it goes to the pink circle and doesn't load. I have flashed recovery using fastboot but that doesn't help either.
Phone info:
AlphaRev CM7 r2
BRAVO PVT4 SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-6.93.1002
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL SYNT0101
RADIO-5.17.05.23
Could you post a picture of the pink circle? I haven't heard of it till now.
It's normal to see this when the phone was ok, afterwards it would go to the HTC boot animation. But now it just gets stuck here:

Hi,
same problem here...got it started when I push long volume+ and for a short time the power button. But still got no fix for that...
So recovery isn't booting, nor the rom? And flashing recovery through fastboot failed?
If you want a fresh start, flash the 2.3 RUU in my sig, but you will lose all your data.
Or try flashing recovery again with Android flasher, and/or Fastboot commander.
I tried to reinstall and flashed the ROM 4.1.2 from vijendrahs. The circel appears when I start the recovery or when I boot normaly. I stays for some seconds and then it works fine. I don't know why this happens. Will try to flash the RUU first and look if it still there.
Hi,
Just in case anybody wants to refer to this at a later date:
I tried:
Flashing 4EXT touch recovery
re-flashing the hboot.
Clearing storage
None of which helped.
So finally I flashed stock hboot then installed GB RUU via a PB99IMG.zip from here: http://d-h.st/d44
Then flashed 4EXT Recovery, which looks great! And installed MildWild CM.
Hope that can help someone with similar problems.

Hello,
I recently tried out the latest version of "PhilZ-Touch Recovery 6.0" located in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446393. I did this from my previously installed recovery (TWRP V2.6.3.0) and everything went and had no problems, but I decided to go back to TWRP anyway and installed the latest TWRP version for my phone (V2.6.3.1) and again everything went fine and I was back to using TWRP again. The only problem I noticed is that when I boot into TWRP recovery now, I see this blue logo on my screen before I am presented with the TWRP curtain screen that I was used to seeing before.

I did a little searching and discovered this logo is the CyanogenMod Logo and since I do not have CyanogenMod installed on my phone, I can only assume it was placed on my phone as part of the philz recovery install. My question is then, how do I get rid of this logo since I do not have CM installed and do not want it to show up when I boot into TWRP?
TIA,
Mtcell
P.S. I would have posted this in the thread above, but I am a newly registered member and was not able to post in that tread until I have accumulated 10 or most post. Instead of spamming the forum to get my post count up (and taking a change on getting my account suspended in the process), I felt it would be better to post this question here.
I have been running the PhilZ recovery since @CNexus made it available, it doesn't place that image on your phone.
What ROM are you running? TW or AOSP??

Hmmm, booting into recovery from android or with the phone off?
I just updated to 6.0.5 and I went into recovery to flash that update, though it was via the power menu.
Let me try with the power off ... ah yes, there is a little blue guy there when I go to recovery that way. (its been so long since I've done that)
TWRP probably doesn't over right that part of the phone.
Maybe try normal CMW flash and then back to TWRP or do a nandroid restore from a previous backup.
Twrp added that as the logo in the last update prob was a mistake

Thanks for the confirmation. At least I know I did not mess something up. I mainly do all of my rebooting into recovery from within android using GooManager, but I tried it from TWRP as well and the same result happened and finally, I tried it from a cold boot using the power, home, volume up buttons and the same result each time.
As far as the logo goes, I am not really overtly concerned about it as long as it's not going to mess anything up, I will probably leave it unless I find some reason I should remove it.
Thanks again for your replies,
Mtcell
yeah nothing messed up at all, you just have a new blue pal
Your welcome; a sanity test now and again is a good thing (some - like me - need them more often)

Ahh, that makes sense now. As I said, I will keep it just as long as it's not going to mess with anything (which it hasn't) so no harm no foul.

Hi there,
The phone is rooted.
I've proceeded with the latest update today (~12mb size), don't remember the exact version.
It said it fixes some system bugs, etc.
After the update installed the phone won't load, stucks on the changing color logo.
Cannot access the recovery mode option in the boot menu (Vol+Power), says "no command", if press and hold Vol+ and Power again the phone restarts and enter the boot logo again.
Has anyone ideas how this can be fixed?

See http://forum.xda-developers.com/elephone-p8000/help/boot-loop-ota-upgrade-t3246203.
Post #16 describes how get into recovery from the 'no command' screen, and my post #12 describes how I managed to get it flashed using the SP Flashtool.
(Note my point no,5 - all I needed to do is press 'Download' first, THEN attach the powered off phone.)
Good luck!

do you think this can be fixed w/o reflashing an entire rom?
Oooh. Brighter minds than mine might correct me, but I think the bootloop is only fixed with a ROM flash

Actually, what you need to do is format the data partition or write the empty data.img file over the data partition which in effect does the same thing. And the later one is also what happens when your download entire rom using sp flash.

I've proceeded with "wipe data/factory reset" option - no effect...or are we talking about different things?

In that case you probably need to flash the system.img and maybe even the boot.img from the latest rom. Elephone really should stop sending out these broken OTAs...

I didn't read official forum. However you do loose your warranty if device is rooted, thus the device manufacturer owes you nothing. OTA worked fine before I rooted my device.
Btw, I got my phone back to life by re-flashing the entire ROM, just in case.

Hi there,
The phone is rooted.

The only thing you need to do is reinstall the añl the system with spflashtool. Never and remember never you can update any android with a ota if you are a rooted user.
If you speak spanish you can search in the youtube channel AndroidMxL to ser how you can reinstall the original ROM on your android.

Already did, thanks. Will never combine Root and OTA together again
