1. Rom is overall usable(wifi, bt, 3g , everything works)
2. Fc in Paranoid OTA(when I tap on settings or Install)
3. No Music App
4. No FileManager
5. Ram usage is a bit high
6. Hover works well
7. Sometimes, I missout the chance to tap on the Hover notification, so I pull down the status bar and tap on the notification. It doesnt open in normal mode or floating mode.
8. Torch Doesn't Work.
9. ROM is smooth on Dalvik, will report about ART runtime later on
10, Notification LED doesn't work as well.

I will look into all of this then thanks for report
And about hover... If you miss it, go to notification and hold on and hit floating mode not press it.
About torch, I was getting build errors with it so I took it out for the time being. I will look into file manager and music app, however, I believe paranoidota is on their side because it worked in the last beta I tested.. Will check out though

I am on resurrection remix rom.. Can I flash this rom on top of it.. Or should I flash 4.3 stock, and then this?
Were you on 4.3 before? If so, you can flash this ROM over top... Make sure to do your wipes in case any issues occur
Also backup just in case something happens

Download this ROM in your phone. There is a root app in Play Store called Rashr. Install it. After you extract the ROM (or the just the boot.img to your sdcard), you can use Rashr to flash the kernel using the "Flash kernel"option in the app. It should finish in a few and you can then boot into recovery and flash the ROM as the OP mentioned.
Thank you guys. I installed it the normal way and it got installed without any trouble
So here goes my short review
1. Rom on the whole works smooth, yet to test ART.
2. Ram usage was bit high at first. Then I deleted Google launcher and velvet apk, and installed greenify. Now ram usage is pretty normal, getting 400 mb free. ( I flashed the micro gapps from PA thread)
3. Hover feature works well
4. No music app included in the rom.
One bug I would like to mention. Not sure whether I did something wrong, but whenever I try to change navbar icons using Softkeyz app, back key looks big compared to other two keys. Never had this problem with other roms.
And that's it! Please look into ram usage, as it seems pretty high. Thanks for the rom
Hover feature!
One bug I found :
1. Notification led not working when charging and when battery is low.
And the battery is draining fast in this rom, even though in deepsleep it's good. Please look into it, thanks
Wow, it is definitely a good ROM...

I can edit mine perfectly fine.. did you come from clean install? nobody but you has commented on editing qs tiles... what exactly did you do?
Im using this script for AOSPA paranoid rom by Nicki.
But i have major prob.. Swap is doing for sdcard to internal memory. Its ok, but for internal to external it's not happening, it still shows external as external memory too
Problem happens as gallary, walkman everything shows all stuff double, also, to apply this script i have to create 0 folder and put everything in it, it works in internal storage(sd card originally after swap) but in sdcard it shows the real content of sdcard along with additional duplicate obb folder outside at last layer with 0 folder.
Please help.

I just installed it today. It's AOSP so there's really nothing special about its looks. What do you want to see? I can get you some screenshots.
So far so good. It's pretty stable and it boots pretty fast! I noticed that this still uses '4G' instead of LTE, but a change for this was just committed for fusion3, so a new build will fix this.
The only major issue I have is that A2DP is not working. It doesn't see my car's bluetooth as having A2DP, it only detects it as Phone.

Thanks, do not need.
You have helped me with the information!!
I paired my car's Blueetooth again and all the profiles showed up now. Was a weird bug in the first pairing.
LTE can be enabled using *#*#4636#*#* and selecting one of the LTE modes there, but you will lose this upon reboot and will have to do it again.
Other than that, it seems to be working well. I have some drain from Google Services (CacheUpdateService) but I've had this on stock Timescape and on CM, so it's probably an app or setting that I have been carrying over.
Nice to see omni rom here and nice to see mithun make a comeback. Thought you gave up on us buddy. Glad to see you're back.

Glad you got your hands on a N5. Got a nexus 7 2013 a few weeks ago as well. Also, any work you decide to do on the ZL is welcome, as little as it is.

Nice!
Omni is still so new so I might wait a little bit, Im really looking forward to the multi-window/multi-task feature =)
Do you know if this version of the multi window has the version where the apps don't
pause when you toggle between the two multi window apps?
Like being able to open YouTube on top and browser on bottom and being
able to browse without the YouTube video stopping...
I'm not sure if that feature is what they called multi workspace or its just the
Newer multi window updated

It seems kind of buggy with youtube ATM, I tried it out and I can get audio going but I just get rotating circle unless I open a related video, but then it's still playing the original video so I have 2 videos playing at the same time.

That must have been a newer version of OmniRom. Maybe a newly compiled version would work better. I had forgotten we had that feature and just tried it on my ZL. I found the same thing you guys mentioned, the video on YouTube pauses when tapping anywhere on the other app.

It doesn't pause for me, it just replaces the video with a spinning circle with audio still playing, but then again I have a modified youtube that allows HD and screen off playing(which is probably what's causing this).

Oh ok. Yes, your modification is thinking that YouTube lost focus so that's why it only has audio. It would have to be modified in such a way that it continues to play the video and not just the audio.
Does the camera pause? if you are using the other app and have camera open in split, can you move the phone and the camera view is still in motion?

I just tested it and no, the camera pauses when you interact with the other application
Thank you very much for this new ROM!
I hope you can get some time to work on this ROM for the ZL and add to it what somehow was/is lacking on your PAC rom which I'm
about to install on my ZL as I read it's stable and good! That thread is closed, so I just wanted to thank you for such an interesting and good looking ROM. n.n
I hope you can create for the ZL something like your PAC rom when 4.4 is oficial, too! n.n

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android with subtly improved versions of the features you love to as many devices as possible. we've tried to incorporate and improve our features in a way that makes them more cohesive to improve the overall user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality..
What to expect:
- This is not a McCopy ROM. What goes into our build is well thought-out and not a bunch of stuff duck taped together because we could.
- maximum optimization. We do our research. We test hard. We build -fstrict -O3 globally and include a massive array of code optimizations and memory leak fixes that we write ourselves and eventually submit to AOSP or Linaro.
- originality in our source. We generate a lot of new commits being features or general code improvements. We are open source to share and improve the community but we also try to make sure we offer a unique experience.
- aesthetics.. hopefully in your opinion
General features:
SU, busybox etc
Stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
Enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
Custom written CRON and init.d etc
UI and graphics improvements
Custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
Halo (active display & lockscreen notifications are in review)
Usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
Animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
Additional quicksetting tiles
Immersive mode
Statusbar mods
Clock & battery mods
Lockscreen blur and other mods
Soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
Busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
yatta yatta yatta
More to come when i feel like updating the op

Nope the beta build was pretty stable hence no need to reinstall and this goes for all the beta testers.....Cheers am waiting for a battery life review
Well I said that because I miss the navbar with landscape buttons, but aside from that, yeah its good...
And battery life is so good... I charged the battery last night so I cant show you exactly how it did, but it was near 40% and I had like 4:30 hours of display time with like 18h of on time
Right now going for 4 hours with 1h display time and still sitting at 85%. So far so good

hows the camera? same as any other AOSP? freeze for the first time?
Camera seems to work fine, but it seems the NFC service is forcing the phone to stay awake.
Beautiful ROM!! Indeed fast and smooth!! Only issue I have though, EXT SDcard not accessible even with KK SD fixes tried!
Can anyone please clear some doubts :
1. Whether kernel is with the rom and install autometically.
2. Any chance of losing IMEI and hence no network?
3. Can dualrecovery by [NUT] be install with this rom?
Thanks..
Edit : I am lost IMEI...hence no network...can anybody help please..
I did the following:
1. With unlocked bootloader was on Romur 7.1 android 767 version and doomkernel v16 with dualrecovery 121 version.
2. Reboot to philztouch recovery.
3. Flash System, data, cache and dalvik
4. Install Vanir ASOP KK.
5. Install slim gapps
6. Install dualrecovery v121
7. Reboot and no network.
8. Revert back to Romur 7.1 and network back with IMEI..

1. POWER OFF THE PHONE
2. HOLD VOL+ AND PLUG USB TO BOOT INTO FASTBOOT (BLUE LED)
3. *TEMPORARY* fastboot flash boot boot.img from any CM11/PA 4.4 build (due to broken recovery)
4. fastboot reboot
5. ENTER RECOVERY (on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+) AND PERFORM A FULL BACKUP
6. FACTORY RESET
7. WIPE CACHE & DALVIK CACHE
8. INSTALL ROM, GAPPS AND SUPERSU
9. REBOOT
PA 5+ UPDATES DO NOT NEED A FACTORY RESET,
JUST WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE.
SUBMITTING BUG REPORTS:Please use the Bug Reports tab. Users must also submit a log of the issue. Without them, fixing bugs is impossible. Thank you.

KNOWN BUGS:
* CM's recovery is currently broken, so for now, flash a boot.img from any CM11/PA 4.4 build if you need to flash anything. REMEMBER TO FLASH THE PA 5.0 BOOT.IMG AFTERWARDS!
* Other bugs? Let me know.
I'll take that.
Thanks! However, even though TWRP is working, I'm getting the old and much hated "This package is for device: odin; this device is yuga" error. What should I do in this case? Flash PA4's kernel again?
Edit: I did just that xD

How can I try it without re-flashing the RO-oh WTH I'll flash it again and edit this post ASAP.
Edit: It works! BTW I've been using this build since noon and battery life seems to have improved a bit. At least it doesn't get hot as hell when the display is on anymore. The camera (or the touchscreen, dunno exactly) did hung up on me once though, but now it's mostly a daily driver. Thanks again!
Thanks for this wonderful ROM. Is there any custom Kernel which works for this PA-5 ROM. I cannot see fast charge been enabled with this ROM and battery is not as good as well. So, want to try my luck with custom kernel. But there is none I can see for PA-5.
Hello,
i installed it too, and it works great. But i have a few Questions. Where can i change Lock Screen Settings? I must swipe up, to get the pattern Unlock. Second, i installed 2 Month again TWRP from here Klick Klack, and after flashing Kernel, it is still there. How can i get your TWRP? Third, a little Thing i found, that in the advanced Boot Menu, there is no translation. Fourth, is it possible to Set Custom Widgets on Lock Screen? And at last, thanks for your great work!!

It works fine for flashing non device specific things, but when it comes to flashing those things (such as ROMs) it throws something similar to Status 7 error since it was originally intended for yuga, not odin. Something similar happened to XZDualRecovery a while back.
Is there any GPS icon bug in this ROM. I cannot see the icon going away from notification bar even I turn off GPS.
Oh, you're right. I believe there is. I turned location on and opened maps and I could get a lock withouth the location icon on the status bar.

Oh! Have you uploaded the next release as well. I can see the 1-Jan-15 release been uploaded on 3rf Jan 2015. Request you to please update.
After a Day of use, the Auto brightness didn't work correct. It is mostly to dark, and the response time is to slow. Wifi disconnect randomly from Router if it is in use. Sorry fpr the bad English!!
So far the rom is working really fast, only two problems so far
1 - my microphone doesn't seem to work on calls, i will try to see if it works on skype or facebook but on phone calls no one can hear me
2 - sometimes when adjusting brightness while listening to some music or video result in a screen flickering

This rom is based on CodeAurora's Android Lollipop 5.1 source (AU_LINUX_ANDROID_LA.AF.1.1_RB1.05.01.01.006.028).
I have only made changes that needed to support our device other then that it's pure CAF/AOSP. it has no custom features to provide you stock android experience.
Code:
#include

It's soooo smooth. Thanks for this ROM!
Only noticed, that offline charging broken: phone totally hangs on "Sony".
And bootanimtion not fit screen.
Hi All,
Found one really interesting Delta-gapps package, where you get option to choose which add-on you wanna install
(If you prefer to have app on system partition)
[4.4.4 / 5.0.x / 5.1]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58047099
Omg ! So fast and Smooth ! Maybe battery life is better ...
CWM/TWRP recoveries
For those, who don't know or don't remember, here are CWM/TWRP recovery images. Needs to be flashed only once to work.
Sometimes no audio when calling (works for a while after reboot). Also when calling, a blank screen appears from the phone activity making the transition ugly. Bootscreen is a bit large too
Nice rom , thx for your work.
Seems here come with great respond from other, and now i want try to move it too
AOSP I'm coming!!!
and this rom isn't big like other cm or fxp build, is only 212 mb.

no such issue here. can more users confirm sometimes no audio when calling ?
problem on bootanimation that not fit on screen, on first boot is only black, and after a few second android logo is out.
but isn't critical problem so far
some wifi icon connection state problem, this like icon connection state isn't fit on wifi icon
and for mobile connection data is always show 3g although my connection is HSDPA + when i check on sim information
that's first report from me
Just noticed a problem with location. While location is on and GPS seems to work it says "No apps have requested location". For some reason apps can't access gps. I suspect this and the previous issue with no audio in call might be caused by gapps. Can anyone point me to a tested package of gapps? I used the one by cm12.1
Keyboard Force close ,But imidiately gone ,every time going in settings and pressing back button

P.S: Clean wipe is when you wipe system, data, cache, dalvik-cache and internal Storage.

The link you posted is not an original IOS ROM
What i know is unlike Android ,source for IOS is not availabe to public for compilation or porting to other hardware .Same is the case with Windows mobile OS .
The rom Link Above is just an SIMPLE ANDROID OS with apps (easily availabe at play store) and other IOS themed apps and settings (Though it really requires great time and effort full credits to the creator)
Now Comming to you second question battery life is better then cm13 due to some internal customizations and as far as i remember nui kernel had that feature long press power button to restart
Other solution is to just remove and reinsert the battery
Where is expand display option in that ROM ???????? N is there is privacy option like cm?
Please make this rom official!! thank you so much!

This is the first cycle of battery in Nougat I liked! But my little M already has 3 years of use with almost everything original, only charger and headphones that have already gone, 5 hours of constant use is enough for me
