I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section, but I am desperate. After rooting my Optimus GJ, at that time I passed over unlocking the bootlock and now my device just shows me the secure boot error. I can't find anywhere the kdz file for my device, and I just don't know what to do. Please! Any help is greatly welcomed.
My head and my pc is a mess right now in the pursuit of fixing my phone. How could I be so stupid to mess up!? I've tried many programs (LGNPST, kdz reinstall) but nothing seems to work, mainly because I can't find the right files.

If your device is an HTC then you are in the right place
Try to READ the Wiki
and welcome
to the great minds of our community. I have a one x and have managed to have it stuck in bootloader loop everytime displaying "This build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC......" I think I have made a series of mistakes most likely due to me rushing into this and not quite comprehending the process. I used to flash my phone all the time during the Windows Classic however have never attempted an android until now. Alots changed
From what I can see I have made the mistake of not creating a recovery image of my stock rom and not installing clockmod.
can anyone help in getting me out of this please. I have attempted to read the recovery guides however maybe im not doing something or not understanding the new lingo but I am unable to restore my phones functionality.
Again any help on this would be greatly appreciated and apologies in advance for a noob mistake. any and all suggestions welcome
haha you can see how long its been since ive been on here just by my signature
Does your bootloader say EVITA?
If it does, this is the wrong forum, installing software from here is a bad idea.
Try the AT&T/One XL forum.
Dear all,
I am hoping to receive an explanation really because I am a noob. Because I am a noob I now have a softbricked g3, I think. I originally rooted my sprint model g3 with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951 and it worked great, but when I tried to add TWRP I failed. I tried to add TWRP using another root method, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...lick-root-twrp-recovery-t3072767#post59897602, with TWRP included. Now I am stuck with a screen that says Fastboot mode started and can't do anything. I found this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/tutorial-fixing-fastboot-mode-started-t2995854, that supposedly is capable of fixing it, but I don't understand what it is advising me to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Nevermind, after doing some more research it appears that there is currently no fix. I am just going to try and exchange it.
Thanks everyone
SO I JUST TRIED TO ROOT MY DEVICE AND I DID EVERYTHING THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE ROOT TUTORIAL PROVIDED BY THE PEOPLE OF XDA DEVELOPERS.
THREAD NAME IS .. [ROOT] TMO/VZW/ATT/SPRINT/INTL Root your LG G4 with Low Effort Root!
MY DEVICE IS HARD BRICKED AND WHEN I TRY TURNING IT ON, A SECURITY ERROR SHOWS UP AND IT SAYS AUTHENTICATION FAIL #11 ..AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS..PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEEEE! ANY KIND OF HELP WOULD BE REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS.
Phone is not hard bricked otherwise it would not turn on at all, sounds like soft-brick and needs factory resetting.
Go to here: http://www.androidexplained.com/lg-g4-how-to-boot-into-download-mode/ and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848 to get everything you require.
It will wipe your phone as factory, so hopefully you have things backed up before this occurred

Hi I'm looking to root my G4 and I wanted to know if this was the best guide. Also it seems like the link to the drivers and the VC_redistinstaller are dead. I also tried the thing in step 2.d where you put the IMEI at the end of a url and that did not seem to work for me. Any help would be appreciated.
