Is there a way to customize navigation bar?

Yes there is. You can install the Xposed framework and then download a module called Gravitybox you can then adjust the nav bar. Just be aware that this will break ART support. I do not know of a way that keeps ART support and allows for navbar adjustment. For Xposed you can look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/framework-xposed-rom-modding-modifying-t1574401 .
It says only for vanilla android can't use it on sense.

not sure how u want to customise it but gmd hide softkeys app on the market lets you customise it to a certain extent.
I wanna add another button to the navigation bar like g3 I'd able too.

Hi guys. Is there a possible mod that can make the status bar on the home screens be dark instead of transparent?
When I scroll left to BlinkFeed it's dark and nice. Same as when I go into app drawer or when I'm in any app.
But when I scroll to screens where widgets are, it's transparent.
Screenshots will hint.

If you are rooted( I assume you are) just flash a stock rom such as viper one or trickdroid as there are tons of customization options such as the one you are looking for. If you want to stay stock then I am not quite sure but I think there is a xposed mod for that allows you to change the status bar opacity. Hope this helps
My sense homescreens, running viper Rom and I highely recommend it.

I have the hd 5.0 Rom, and it's nice so far,I like it clean with some customizability.
It came with xposed and sense6 toolbox, but in my opinion it lacks some customizability, what are other great apps I can use?
Particularly I'm looking for battery icons with % and the stock weather widget in the drop down status bar.
Oh and a way to add more shortcuts to apps like double tap of hold some button.

if customisability is what you want, then try ViperOne rom.
New HTC one m8 user here coming from nexus 4. What a big upgrade! Running Viper rom. Is there a xposed mod or any mod to rearrange navbar buttons? I'm running the Android L navbar keys. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes I did. I switched the back and recents icons. Super helpful. The mod is under venom hub. But they seemed to have removed it. Not there no more.

Gravity Box has an option for that.
Is it possible to make recents's background on sense 6.0 transparent?
There is an app for xposed, that do that.
