Well the Voltage I get on the GSAM app shows 3.733V

now after I charged the battery its shows me 4.3V
wtf?? Oo its suppose to be like that?
I got the normal version grey htc m8
without any tweaks
for europe

I don't know where you are getting your info from but the battery is 4.3v on mine when fully charged. I don't think any phones have a 3v battery. Standard is 3.7v I think.

How many mV are in a 100% battery charge?

i ask this because my battery stats have gone dumb dumb on me. first i had a 40% instant drop when rebooting and since 62% charge on my phone Battery Life how been showing 4150mV. it may fructuate 50mV (i think it keeps topping battery off and then when it goes down a tad i tops off again ).
So my question is then is my battery already fully charged and my battery % is off and if so why would it keep slowly going up when the mV's are no longer going up?
fyi i trust this battery widget. used it in 3 phones for 2 1/2 years. hasent update recently either

When your battery is fully charged it is generally around 4200mV. It seems like your battery is not calibrated. I recommend the battery calibration app. Search it in the market. Very easy to calibrate. Just charge till its at 100% and close to 4200mV and then hit calibrate.
Also, to monitor your battery stats (voltage, %, mW usage) I recommend the battery monitor widget. It shows graphs of your mV as well as your battery percentage over time.
Thanks bro, I apreciate the indepth answer. I thought it was 4200 but I gotta be sure u know

95% Battery full Charge

I recently had a problem with the battery of my Defy, shows that this charged and stops charging even at 95%. I tried calibrating the battery, with the app and the same from the recovery, and removing the battery.
I can't think what else to do. Help Please!!
Edit, i'm on CM7.1
Have you tried wiping battery stats from recovery??

have been facing the same problem right since the day i upgraded to CM7..but what i have observed is that even though it says that the battery is fully charged @ 95%, it still keeps on charging...check after half and hour and it goes upto 100%..yes, but when u start using the handset after charging, this 5% comes down very fast!
Im having the same problem with the first 10% of the battery disappeared really quickly? Im on standard rom 2.2.2.
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
Just my observation... In Defy though the hardware is capable of 1% reporting of battery state the software is configured to assume near values. For Example 25% to 34% is considered 30% and 35% to 44% is considered as 40%. Hence when the battery reaches 95% it assumed 100% and reported as fully charged. But if you don't unplug the phone the charging will continue to 100%. In my Defy I don't see any significant difference in drain other than the first 1%. To know the exact charge I use ledefy with LED indication. Ledefy can be configured to change the colour of LED at exact 100%.
yeah, but now it goes up to 100%, i think its solved, but if this persist i'll report the issue to cyanogenmod forums...
thanks for the info pprakash
One thing I found that showed an accurate battery % is Android Circle Battery Widget.
This showed my battery % to 1% accuracy (1% 2% 3% rather than 90, 80, 70, 60 etc)

LEDEFY also have similar notification. It can display the same in the notificatin bar saving space on the screen or if you are having customer rom you can use a different framework-res.apk which can display 1% values ( This is my case for exact values ).
Try clean the battery stat created by older ROM, and use Battery Calibration free app which you can find easily on the market to calibrate ur battery... i think that would help

[Q] HOX Battery consume

Hi Fellow HOX users,
I would just like to ask if I have the same experience with you guys regarding the battery usage. I installed battery widget to track my battery percentage. I notice that my battery were discharging and skipping the percentage. Sometimes i'm just browsing my phone (No internet, no 3g.) and the battery goes down from 65% to 60%. I notice this since I'm on Jelly Bean.
Is this battery percentage skipping usage normal?
Thank you so much!

Yeah it's not really accurate. Sometimes if you restart you can get higher percentage or lower. It's normal.

deep sleep issue (Massive battery drain during night)

Got my Z1 compact two nights ago.. and each night I have the same problem with battery drain during stamina mode on.. but the drain pattern is very unusual.. It drains for an hour or more with a straight slope ..after this the slope becomes pretty horizontal ... and the overall battery drain is almost 40-50% ( battery drains from 66% to 34% during the night)
Stamina mode did a good job during night in my previous phones like sp.. but cant figure out whats the problem here.. !!
That graph is useless, install better battery stats and check your drain(what app is couse of that) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809

[Q] Typical idle battery drain on your 8.4?

I was curious what kind of idle battery drain people are getting on their tablets/ROMs?
Measuring with Battery monitor Widget Pro, on my 8.4, running stock TW except for Towelroot, I am averaging -150ma.

Since I have an amper cable I can see the current the tablet draws when its plugged in with screen off / idle and fully charged. mine does this
0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-20-0-0-0-0-0-20-0-0-0-0-0-20
so I would say its draws a quick 20 ma every 10 seconds - but since its plugged in it might not be in the deepest sleep setting that it would be when on battery.
anyways I have no problems with it staying at 100% or 99% leaving it off for the whole day unplugged so it has very good power management in my opinion. - just have to keep the wakelock apps in check
I updated from the ng1 build to the latest nk1 build and my idle battery drain is much improved with the exact same setup running. Now down to -40-50 mah.
I have terrible battery drain randomly for no reason and I don't no what is causing the battery to drain so much. I have attached an image is there anyway of seeing what causes this much battery to drain so quick?

You should install better battery stats, available here on XDA, to pinpoint your battery usage.
Looks like there was a really battery draining event that occurred quite suddenly?

I noticed in the screenshot you have might GPS on, there could be an app running in the background abusing GPS or polling it too quickly (look for a blinking / solid white pointer Icon in the top left of the statusbar, this will tell you if something is requesting location).
GPS will drain battery very quickly and should be disabled unless it's needed.
