Would I be able to flash roms using odin and would I be able to restore (original) stock roms after rooting?

Odin is only for samsung devices so that would not work.

Use ioroot25 in dev and the .tot files to return to stock are there too....

+1 on this. ROMs are OK, but not firmware or modems. But if you are trying to downgrade to unlock, you are out of luck. There is no 4.1 modem for the L.

I know with the s4 ( and note 2 i believe) when flashing the update without the boot loader Wifi/Bt/Nfc didn't work. you needed to flash a .zip to fix

I would make a rom of the leak , I was the first one to do it for the sprint s4 when 4.3 was first released and CDMA is harder then gsm but my rom making computer is down : / so I gotta wait

You can flash it as is but you will be stuck on this and only this build. Reason being it updates your bootloader..

This will allow titanium backup and other apps to write to external sdcard. I have used this on the Nordic release of Touchwiz Kitkat. It appears this is an issue with all Samsung kitkat stock roms.
This is not my fix but I did find it
