Galaxy Note Case compatible with Flip Cover

I have the Samsung's Flip Cover which I like, but the corners are not protected at all.
I was trying to find a TPU back cover that is compatible with this Flip Cover without making any modifications to either the Flip Cover nor the TPU case.
Any luck anyone?

you'll need to modify one or the other.
just cut a bit off the side of tpu case. the folding part of the flip case doesnt exactly go corner to corner so you can still leave enough protection for the corners.

here's one ive modified for my device.
the friction of the tpu gel case means it doesnt slide, meaning i can use the flip cover as a stand. it still offers sufficient protection for the corners and for the display.

the TPU cover i bought was this one.

this one is one that i am buying now. also made of the same material, but has a matt finish so it doesnt attract fingerprints and grease.

Qubits Snap-on Case

This is the Qubits Snap-On case for the GSM Galaxy Nexus.
This does not fit the Verizon LTE version.
It is very similar to the Incipio Feather and the Case-Mate Barely There.

The case fits perfectly and is very snug. The case has a rubberized coating on the inside and outside of the case. There is a small lip on the front of the device for minimal lay-on-the-table design. The side edges are very smooth, but the top and bottom edges are a tiny bit rough. It isn't uncomfortable, and I don't really mind. With this design, the top and bottom are halfway exposed, but comparing with the Feather, it does cover more. The case is fairly thin, but not as thin as the Feather. Basically, this just gives me more grip to hold the phone.
It is only $8.90 with prime shipping, a great value IMO.
BTW I have a skinomi screen protector on at the moment, but will be applying XO Skins very soon.

I got it for only around $5 from Amazon. But after one or two days of usage I found it too slippery. I'm waiting for mesh case they provide more grip IMO

Is there gonna be any mesh cases available?

[Review] [Case] "Carbon Fiber" hard case

Just bought one of these in "white", through eBay UK. UK seller; arrived next working day. White is in inverted commas because it's more an off-white/pearl colour. Not unpleasant, but would clash with a white One X, I suspect. Doesn't look bad on the grey HOX, just not as clean a look as I would have hoped for.

It's a snap-on back case. Very thin little bit of foam within the case for shock absorption. Quite a rigid case; not rubberised.
The case is almost flush with the camera lens. I mean if the case protrudes any further than the lens it's by nanometres only. I think that putting a small piece of cardboard within the case, just below the lens area, would push the case out fractionally and provide slightly better protection when the case is on its back.

The moulding is a bit wobbly in places; it was clearly manufactured to a price!
In short, it was cheap and it will do for now. You get what you pay for.

Yeah it was actually that review of yours that put me onto the idea of a carbon fibre style case. I wanted something cheap and in a hurry though, plus I've had quite mixed results buying from HK, so I thought I'd stick with UK sellers this time round.

No thin case will totally protect the phone from drops. Just my .02
Total protection = bulky cases.
What you need to look for is something that the inside edges are noticeably raised on the front.
I like my Trident Kraken because ita 3 cases in 1. I don't have to make it aa bulky when I dont need it.

This will only help if you drop your phone on a perfectly flat surface as the front lip is not that high. If there is a small rock or the area is uneven at all it most likely won't help. Take if from someone that cracked is screen with a TPU case on it.
Get better protection if your prone to drops. This screen shatters EXTREMELY easy.

i just ditched my otter box commuter for a body glove tactic case. offers about the same protection but feels less bulkier. the buttons aren't a p.I.t.a. to press either

Is the supcase a screen protector as well? Or is that just a raised lip? I can't tell if it has a front cover or just a bumper.

There is no screen cover on the Supcase. It has a raised bumper on the front at both the top and bottom on the screen. I have not yet tried it with a screen protector.
