cheap Dock Stand & Battery Charging station? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Does someone know which is the best and cheap Dock Stand Battery Charging station?
many of them looks good but we have to think how fast they can charge the second battery or the phone
i think most of them is 500mA for the phone and 500mA for the battery
Do we know a faster even only for a battery ?

I found a very good dock/charger. I can't link it because I only have a few posts here so can't make links. On ebay UK it is listed as "USB Dual Charger Dock Cradle Holder+Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000" and on ebay.com you can find it as "Battery Dual Charger Cradle For SamSung Galaxy Note N7000 i9220 i717 EB615268VU"
Because of xda's dumb rules (like established members don't post bs ha ha) I can't even post an image to help you identify it (I can't even quote your links!) but I hope the info above is enough.
It charges my GT-N7000 very quickly and allows proper dock/sync as well. It can also charge a spare battery but this is slower.
For a simple battery charger the very boring Samsung battery charger is quickest. For a syncing dock/charger the one I tried to describe is pretty decent. Samsung accessories for GT-N7000 are quite badly designed and compare badly with the range available for similar i-Fruity products so I suspect this is as good as you will find. pm me with your email address if you need a working link to ebay.com/uk.

thank you I will try to find the dock you described
you can put the url without the http:\\ even with not so many post

ebay.com/itm/Battery-Dual-Charger-Cradle-For-SamSung-Galaxy-Note-N7000-i9220-i717-EB615268VU-/181436600353?
This is the item. I don't know anything about that seller or the battery in that listing. Various people sell the same item with and without a battery.

Thank you for links

Faster charging times

Just posted this in another forum. Heres the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19994949#post19994949
So you charged the note with it in one hour?
Isn't there a limitation on the current the charger outputs while charging?
I didn't charge the Note. I originally posted this in another section for another phone model if you follow the link. I posted the thread here cause Note owners would get benefits from this charger in quicker times. I do like this one better than Apples 2A charger. Hp's is sleeker, compact and comes with a 5ft cable.

Every phone charges slowly from PC USB port, right?
Do you think this would be safe? It's a cable that is designed for portable hard drives, to give them enough power. Maybe it would give the phone too much amperage (?)
My quick research finds that a typical PC USB port (and for sure Mac) has 500 mA power, so if you used this cable with two inputs, you'd be giving the Note 1000 mA which is basically like the wall charger, so it should be safe. What do you think?
I've used it for 4 full charges and the battery stays cool but charges fast. No problems to date. It's been a great find.
Well, i have been using the charger that came with my Galaxy tab wich is 2 amp, since atday one.
No problem at all. It charges in little more than an hour.
I also have been doing this for more than a year with mi exiphone and the charger from the Ipad.
Maybe in the long run the battery life suffers, but i haven't seen anything like that. And honestly, waiting two and a half hours to get the phone charged via regular charger and ready to go me is not an option.
Going to order one right now and give it a try.
Does anyone know of any car chargers that can charge at about the same speed?

Wow, crazy.
Would you be willing to install Battery monitor widget and show me the log file during charging? Just curious to see the rate of charge (i.e. during the start and end, as it slows down)

It is.
I also have been using the 2 amp car charger that came with the original car mount of the Galaxy tab for the note and works great.
2 amp rules!!!!
So, following the same logic - the iPad charger should fit too. I am testing it now - so far so good.

I installed the Battery Monitor Widget. It says Techno: Li-ion 1500/1500mAh. This is obviously incorrect for the Note. So can anything it says about the Note's battery be of any use?

Got it for $0.00 and free 2 day shipping
Amazon messed up with one of their promotions and gave me 2-$5 promotional credits when I purchased $9.51 li-ion duracell batteries. Boy, I love Amazon
Do the Apple 2A chargers for the iPad work for "fast charging" the Note? I know when I bought one in the hopes of fast charging my Galaxy S it didn't work. The Galaxy S just recognizes it as a regular USB charger. No matter which USB cable I use (even the OEM Samsung that came with the GalaxyS)
The charger I bought was this one from Macally, the CARUSB10 and it does not work for fast charging:
http://www.macally.com/en/Product/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=332
However, if I use my Samsung AC wall charger or my Wife's car charger for her Blackberry it is recognized as a "AC" charger and I get the good charging speed.

That amperage is an estimate. I guess what is more interesting the time between percentages.

I have used a 2A Iphone charger without any problem. Same charger didn't work for my previous Galaxy Tab 7".

^^ yup, same here. No problem with 2A iPad charger. Haven't measured but charging times are at least 50% faster.
Neat!!
So, the Apple fast chargers now "fast charge" with the newer Samsung devices?

Well Tokie, for your car, u can use something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Universal-Car-Charger-Pc-2ca/dp/B004YZI1T4
One of the ports will have a 1.5amp output and will suffice to charge your battery quickly.
And if you have a tablet or wanna go ultra crazy in charging your battery n burning it U can use something like this:
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0364269
That one has a 2.1amp output as well, enough power to burn a hole in your phone's battery LOL!!

For those of you who are getting an external battery charger, will you let me know if it manages to charge the batteries to 100%? I currently use a universal battery charger, which worked great for my other phone batteries (would charge them quickly and fully, so when I popped them into my phone, it showed 100%), but for whatever reason, when I try to externally charge my Nitro's battery, no matter how long I leave it or put it back on the charger, it will only reach 88% or so. Then I have to fill up the rest by putting the battery in the phone and charging through USB. I know it's not my battery (I have two, and they both do it), so I'm just curious if other external battery chargers might be better. Let me know if it works for you! If it does I'll get whatever kind you have. I'd be super grateful, thanks!
I'm getting a legit LG battery charger specifically for the nitro. It'll take me about 2 weeks to get it (coming from LG itself in Korea) but when it gets here I'll try it n will let u know how it goes.

I ordered 1 extra battery AND the battery/batterycharger/cable from the ebay seller I mentioned earlier.
The batteries seem legit, they last just as long and have identical plastic casings. However, the two batteries I bought from ebay have a different sticker/label on them. They do not have the "FCC" markings on them or any other american legalese on them.
As far as the charger goes, it works great. I carry a battery in my wallet, one in the phone, and one in my backpack. I really like the peace of mind!
I also got mine from that Ebay seller. I'm confident it's legit. The build is identical, and it maintains charge and behaves exactly the same as the one that came with my phone. It's just probably the battery for the Asian Optimus lte, hence no fcc and different labeling. I'm not worried, and I'm pretty careful about batteries.
@red solo cup, do you know if the charger manages to bring the battery to 100%, ie, when you pop it in the phone and turn it on, do the battery stats actually say 100? My current charger brings it to around 90%, which is not bad, but if I'm going to buy another charger, I'd like it to max out the battery completely =) Thanks!
I have not checked Battery Monitor Widget immediately after putting in the battery, so I cannot absolutely confirm that the battery charges to 100%. However, I have noticed that the battery in the notification area was completely full, including the little "nub" on the left of it.
I will check this out when I get back from work tonight.
If the nub's full, it's at least at 95% I'm pretty sure.
Damn, I don't mind getting it from him, but he posted that it will take almost 20 days to a month for the item to get to me! That's frigging much too long for shipping something overseas. Things I get in China or HK doesn't even go beyond 2 weeks the longest.

24v input
Has anyone found any dual USB (2.1a and 1a) with 12 - 24v input? I run crane and sadly in most of our cranes the Cig Lighter socket is running 24v.
I have a few 12 - 24v input single USB chargers with 1amp out but.. I'd love to find a dual. I have to run my speakers and charge my phone or mp3/RADIO -- seeing as how Optimus doesn't have a FM tuner

I found this on amazon. The specifications specifically state: "Input: 12-24V DC; Output: 5.0V DC 2.1Amp" Plus it is only 5.99+free shipping.
I have this and the specs on kensington's website state "Input: 10V-18VDC, Output (30pin/USB): 5VDC-3100mA.", So I assume that will not work.
so if i have to buy a car charger, what is the MAX specs i can use for the LG OPTIMUS LTE?

I'm going to go with a tentative yes. Since it has a 12v output, however I'd check out this one:
amazon.ca/Energizer-XP8000-Universal-Adapter-External/dp/B0029U2WZU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328748112&sr=8-1
People on another forum had a long discussion on the subject and the consensus that was reached was that it was the best off the shelf option.
I don't think you will be able to plug that one into your tablet - the plug for the A100 is a rare one.
Check this discussion for all the gory details:

I finally ordered this one:

When I was at the local Radio Shack they had "G" type(I think it is) connectors that can go onto the ends of the charge adapters they sell. Fry's has the same stuff. Its just the little connector end you attach it to the wire your self. Im guessing as long as you have 12v supply that will deliver around 1.5A and a pos and neg wire you could just one of those. Its the same end as is on the universal car chargers folks are using from Walmart.
I have been wanting to find a small solar pannel or somthing for camping and such.

Anker Astro 3 battery backup pack
Bought an Anker Astro 3 (10000 mAh battery pack from Amazon (has 9v/12v option) for $59. Bought a special cable for the Anker to Acer Iconia from Edosupply on Ebay for $8.50.
Charges my A500 from <10% to 100% in ~ 100 mins with the switch set to 12v. Nice
The Ebay description says that the cable can be used "for Anker External Battery fit Acer ICONIA Tab A500 A501 A200 A100". Mine works for my A500 so I suppose it should work for the rest?
Confirmed here as well:

I wanted to share my experience with an external powerbank for the A100.
My main issue was, I need something like the Ankor, but that product wasn't available for me to buy in Australia. Amazon sellers wouldn't ship the item, nor at a reasonable price.
So instead, I bought something similar, which I bought out of China (Ebay). It works perfectly, and the powerbank can be used on other USB charging items which require 2A 5V power (HP Touchpad, etc). Perfect for when we travel with multiple mobile phones, tablets, etc.
For the Powerbank, I bought this: 10000mah Powerbank
For the cable for the A100, I bought this: 2pcs Short DC 5 5x2 1mm Female TO 3 0x1 1mm Cable | eBay
Again, both work perfectly for the A100, and all my other charging needs.
Car charger
I am looking for a way to use it in the car. I first tought on going with 120v converter and use its usual wall charger but i would prefer something more integrated.
I've looked into this:
http://www.amazon.ca/Psa18r-120p-Ad...1394232288&sr=8-6&keywords=iconia+car+charger
But it seems rock cheap and I expect it to either burn or the cable to break easily (looking at it)
Did anyone had any previous experience with Pwr+ products ?

Solar Charger at 5.5V

Hi, I'm interested in buying a solar battery for my HOX but I see that most of the cheap
ones on EBAY, such as these (search for "5000mAh Solar Charger for HTC One X" in

takes 5V 1A input.
would this be incompatible? would it kill my battery or device?
any suggestions or input as to what to do?
thanks,
Amir

i wouldn't trust that stuff personally, i would go with a brand name to make sure it wouldn't screw up my device.
incidentally i have a powermonkey explorer, which comes with a solar charger that can be used to either charge up the powermonkey battery, or connected directly to the phone. you can also get ones with bigger solar panels for faster charge, but trust me unless you have consistent, and strong sun (unlike england where all it ever does is rain) then there isn't a lot of point getting one over just a normal battery pack.
I would agree with the poster above, they may be more expensive but at least your guaranteed that they will work. However with solar if you are in the UK like the above poster and I then you will have no chance of getting it to work

I've been using one of the universal spare battery chargers you can find on amazon. They work pretty well for 1/3rd the price. There are a couple different brands, but they all look manufactured by the same company as far as I can tell.
Here is one with a bunch of reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Multi-Purpose-Universal-Charger-Battery-iPhones/dp/B0058XGN7I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1367554301&sr=8-2&keywords=galaxy+nexus+universal+charger
The contacts can slide around so it takes a couple extra seconds sometime to get the battery in it compared to the official nexus battery charger but it works fine otherwise. Plus, this charger works with any battery with contacts on the top or side. It saved me in a pinch when we forgot our canon camera battery charger on vacation also. Well worth the 9 or 10 bucks.
Thanks a lot for the responses. I bought the anker fort increased flexibility
I also bought the anker and it has worked great for me. I do miss the ability to just pop in a battery and not have to worry about making sure the pins are aligned properly though. If I get an s4 I can still use it though.
