Is there an easy way to remove the demo mode? I tried to factory reset it but that didn't help.
Is it possible to get this done without rooting the phone?

It hasn't been used and was never on, it's the default version.
So i guess there's an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version on it.
Don't have it with me at the moment, will check later and confirm.
I read that some other phone brands have some kind of code to unlock the demo, so that u don't need to root it.
Hopefully that method is available for this type as well.
Thanks in advance.

The version: P-U06V100R001C00B200
Thanks in advance.
What exactly is demo mode? This is the first I've heard of it. [emoji5]

Its a "Demo-Mode" Firmware you need to downgrade to B125/B132.
B125: http://www.huaweidevices.de/getAttachment.php?file=HUAWEI_Ascend_P6_Update_B125.zip&force=true
B132: https://mega.co.nz/#!dt03RaaL!8cOp8imgnLxNMfUjCDoBtzR69tz7nLYccL2-VMG4If8

I think it would do.
Put the dload folder on your sd card and use the local update option or poweroff the phone and press the ON Button and the both Volume Buttons at the same time. When it would update your phone.

Hello everyone
I wanted to ask first before i do anything wrong
My device is on 4.4.4, 14.4.A.0.108,
so i want to install cwm recovery, and for the record I'm rooted and bootloader is unlocked
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2743227
I found this kernel and i wanted to know if it's going to work on my device or do i have to downgrade to 14.3.A.0.757?
And thank you
It doesn't work with 108, you'll have to downgrade.

No it'll cause bootloop.
You need to wait for doomkernel v22 which will be compatible with fw .108

Got this just now...but don't wanna lose root. The notification is annoying as hell. I would flash and update if it won't bork everything but I'd settle for just getting rid of the notification. Anybody know how to get rid of it??
Everything I do or have is custom.... Period.

When I long press, I see "App Info" and when I press it, it shows Google Play Services.
When it is disabled, does the update go away, or is it still on my G3 waiting to be installed?
Anyone know how this happened? I'm rooted, with custom everything, and I have OTA updates disabled!
I'm doing a TWERP backup anyway.
Anyone that has installed the update - did you get root back?

Got it and did it 2 days ago
Same and same
probably too early to know, does anyone know if this update will affect root? coming from htc, i remember updates were frowned upon as they can make rooting more difficult.

The Odin you need is in the Zip file.
This is the android 10 update https://android.googleapis.com/pack.../c6260831df0acdfe9828f18bcea7ffb556f4b2e5.zip
Can I install this via internal storage? I don't have an SD card at the moment or access to a pc right now.
I've read conflicting reports online.. I don't want to brick my phone. Also do I need to rename it to: PL2-410C-0-00WW-B03-update.zip
Please advise.
Never mind just seen that recovery mode only lets you install via SD.
