It doesn't even show the SAMSUNG logo? Hard brick. USB JIG may work, If that fails, The only way to get back your phone is... JTAG

Yeah. No Samsung logo. No recovery. No Odin. I'm from the Philippines. No JTAG here.

When I turn my phone on, it will stay on the "Samsung" boot screen indefinitely. I left it on over night to see if it needed to load and it just froze there. I booted into the recovery and wiped everything, and still no success. I tried to connect to my cpu using odin and had no success. I tried to use an update.zip to try and it didn't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I tried on both PC and Mac.

Your phone isn't bricked. Are you using CWM3? If you aren't you most likely tried to flash an EXT4 rom without an EXT4 compatible recovery, boot into recovery and restore and old NAND backup if you have one, otherwise remove the SD card, then install a different rfs compatible ROM and try to flash it.

What part don't you understand?
The most fail safe way to fix a splash load issue is to ODIN back to stock and then reflash. You said you are having issues. Let me throw out some popular issues.
DON'T USE THE STOCK USB CABLE. ITS SUCKS!!!! it will likely cause fails
Use a USB port in the back of your computer
Install Samsung Galaxy Drivers (if you are on 64bit you obviously need 64 bit drivers)
place your phone into download mode (slide open the phone press 1 + power)
Its a yield symbol with an android, not your recovery ROM.
Open Odin first, then plug the (non stock) usb cable into your phone. You will see a Port number verifying the connection
then re-flash to what ever stock version of android you want via the corresponding .tar file.
afterwards, you can use the one click root to regain root access.
I would like to mention that it IS possible he could be permanently bricked. Now I don't know exactly what he did to cause this or whether if Odin/cwm will work for him, but if they don't he is bricked.
Believe me, I have had bad luck when it doesn't get that past Samsung screen ...

As long as there is any reaction from the phone (in this case booting to the Samsung screen it is recoverable and therefore not bricked.
I've been running the Cyanogen ROM and recently developed a problem with the phone not producing an audible tone when I receive a call. I was going to flash a debloated stock ROM to see of that made any difference since I couldn't find any reason for the phone not ringing. It was recommended to use the latest version of TWRP to flash the ROM. I used Goo Manager to replace CWM with TWRP and now I have a brick. The Samsung logo will appear briefly when the phone is powered on and then the screen hours blank. Does anyone have any ideas for a rescue plan? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to Odin a TWRP tar file from here:
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/hercules
To anybody else reading this STOP USING GOO MANAGER TO UPDATE YOUR RECOVERY ON HERCULES!
I'm having the exact issue the samsung logo appears briefly and then the phone vibrates and quickly powers off... I'm curious as to why flashing a recovery image (I flashed it through heimdall) would interfere with the boot process this early on. The phone wont enter download or recovery mode (hard bricked) going to try a USB jig as a last resort.
Yea, same thing happened to me. Goo manager is bunk.. like previously stated i had to use odin to fix it, never used goo manager for anything again.
Will a USB jig get me back into recovery mode so I can flash the TWRP file using Odin?

You can use a jig. Or you can hold volume up + volume down while you plug the USB cable into your computer.

if you cannot go to download mode, USB Jig is the only way:

It happened to me, I had to use the above Jig to fix it.
lol, I just got a sprint s3, And I'm really not used to Samsung devices, I Had root access n clockworkmod using odin b4.. but I upgraded to 4.3... And Both Root access n CWM was gone. So I was trying to start over by flashing clockwork mod (Touch version) with odin. but now.... it pops up "Firmware Encounter an issue... :/

If you pull the battery on your phone and power on, what can you do? Can your PC recognize your phone? Can you boot into download mode? Can you boot into stock recovery? Can you actually boot into the ROM? If any one of these are true you're not bricked and you have options based on what you can get into. Search for how to restore, how to use CF-auto root, or whatever applies based on where you can get into the phone...

Sorry, my friend. Google search USB Jig ($4 possible fix) and/or Mobile Tech Videos JTAG ($50 guaranteed fix)....
So I was doing some wiping in the TWRP, and all of the sudden my phone shut off and boot loops...But it boot loops into the Galaxy s III screen you see before recovery, and just boot loops over and over. I've tried flashing TWRP again, Clockwork, and Philz recovery, but nothing. Trying a stock restore right now to see if it works. I can get into download mode okay, and product name is listed as normal too.
Edit-After flashing the stock odin file for 4.3, nothing happens now.
It's gone.
You flashed a stock AT&T 4.3 ROM and it doesn't work or you solved the problem?

Flashing the stock ROM bricked it.
Where did you get the Odin-flashable 4.3 ROM?
Here are a couple of ways to flash a stock 4.3 ROM:

The tar file for Odin in this topic.

Problem is, I cannot get any power to the device at all. I can't boot it into download mode, recovery mode, can't power it up. It's hard bricked.

Looks like some people had success with the Odin flash, others didn't. Looks like you'll have to try the de-brick method. If that doesn't work, you may have to use a jtag service.
Had the same exact problem here. Hard bricked and everything. Fixed with the method outlined here. Although I lost everything not included in a twrp backup.
It was dead for good, tried the fix, AT&T already got it back after they sent the new one out to me. Didn't see that it had custom recovery on it.
Hi good people! thanks in advance, I had a problem for about a month now where my phone (Note2) used to take about 15 min to boot, after trying many solutions, I read somewhere to delete ODEX files and after trying that in many ways I went to system/apps and deleted ODEX files there with Root Explorer which turned out to be a biiig mistake, it just stucks at the Samsung Logo for a few seconds before it starts again (only the logo, the phone doesn't reboot) and it stays like that forever. I'm in hell right now, I have some files I don't want to lose so I was afraid of factory reseting but after I was told that it won't delete them, I did but that didn't solve anything, I can't access download mode, I can access recovery mode however (not custom) I tried flashing a custom ROM but I just get "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" please help ! I'll be really thankful ! thank you !
EDIT: I hope this helps someone else, after trying everything, what eventually worked for me was the USB Jig, I was able to enter download mode and install a new ROM from there. good luck!

If you know your rom load, flash it back on to your device without any wiping. It should load the needed files back on your system. Though any system mods will be lost.
The other option is to go into aroma from your custom recovery and grab your needed files over to your extsd card

Thanks for the reply, the problem is that I don't have a custom recovery and when I try to flash a new ROM it tells me "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" ...
Well the only option is download mode and try loading the same factory rom you have on your device. Or a newer version, if available. Some different regions have updates.
Can't use stock recovery to flash a custom rom.
You have access to a USB jig? What happens when you try to enter download mode?

Without being able to enter download mode means you can't flash a stock rom via Odin. Maybe order a jig from eBay or try yo make your own. Either way, a jig us a good tool to have when flashing Samsung phones.

Is there any other way to fix this problem without a USB jig. ADB or something
Not sure that adb will allow you to side load a rom.

oh okay, Is installing a new ROM the only solution there is ? if it is, is the USB jig the only way to flash it? thank you !
Installation of a custom ROM but that requires a custom recovery. The easiest method would be to flash TWRP with Odin or possibly TWRP via flashify. Problem is that the phone can't enter download mode or boot the ROM.
I recommend buying or making a USB jig. If you don't want to wait, you could take the phone to a repair shop and have it flashed via jtag.
