So I was attempting the tbackup fix posted here and here and lost my internal sd card as described here
Any help appreciated - text of the last post linked above as follows:
OK - so after re-booting my internal SD card seems to be "lost". A bunch of apps FC including titanium. I can access my external SD card using ES @ /storage/extsdcard but the /sdcard/ & storage/emulated are all blanks. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm running ezkat 2.0 ROM for Note ii
Am I looking at a wipe/re-flash - might a dirty flash fix?
When I reboot recovery I can see it @ /storage/sdcard1/ and everything appears to be there still
When I usb to PC it loads as as follows:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
but both show empty when I try to open them.
Note - I also posted this question in the eZKAT Q&A thread...hopefully this is ok?
Thanks in advance,
~snowin
Yes ...try a dirty flash first.
If that does not correct the file path then a clean flash may be needed...
TIBU is a good resource...but it also has risk...in that it may restore file information and data that breaks current installations...
That includes the restoration of tibu paths using the fix...
Try a cache wipe then dirty flash....g

Thanks for the reply @gregsarg . I did try a dirty flash earlier with no success - gonna try right away with wiping cahce after I finish re-packing eZ's zip file with my modem (save some time later). If that doesn't work I think I'll try formatting /system then flashing?
What is TIBU?
Thanks,
~snowin
Tibu is titanium backup

Problem solved. Ended up having to clean wipe (did it x3 using philz to be sure) and re-flash eZKAT again. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I'm going mad because I can't get boot manager to work with the roms I want! I want to run virtuous quattro ics beta as my phone rom and smartdroid 3.1 T in slot 1. I've done everything but everytime I install smartdroid to slot 1 it hangs on the HTC white splash screen. I installed blackice and it worked just fine. I have forced large .imgs but it wont work. I think it may work through restoring nandroid but I don't get how I would do that?? Any help would be nice, spent the last 2 days trying to work it
Sent from my Desire HD trying to get boot manager to work -_____- using XDA App
Some ROMs have things in the updater-script that won't work correctly when flashing them to a Boot Manager slot.
What I do is this:
1) Make a nandroid backup of my main ROM.
2) Fully wipe the phone and install the new ROM.
3) Make a nandroid backup of the new ROM.
4) Restore the first backup of my main ROM.
5) Go into Boot Manager and install using the nandroid of the new ROM to one of the slots.
There are also some pre-made nandroid backups in this great thread by SmokeyMcBong. In the last few pages there are also some good tips on how to get around various problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257450
Hope that helps!
So basically I'm on rcmix 4.0 right now and have a nandroid backup already
I should wipe and flash smartdroid
Make a nandroid backup of it through recovery
Restore my backup of rcmix
Go into boot manager and restore nandroid of smatrdroid to one if the slots??

Yep, that's how I've done it in the past - use the Install Zip option then Restore Nandroid. There's also some stuff in the thread about problems when using wifi and things working better using mobile data.
when u say use the install zip option and restore nandroid....isn't there a seperate option which is restore nandroid?? Shouldn't i do that instead....screenshot attached of what i mean

Yep, the screenshot shows the option I mean - it's the restore nandroid option on the install zip menu.

I have decided to post the wipe scripts here for those KernelHolics & Flashaholics that are flashing kernels and ROMs constantly. I've made small modifications to these scripts FULL credit to the originator of them Credits below.
These are compatible with TWRP, CWM.
Since there have been numerous kernels recently being posted and people wondering what to wipe or what not to wiped here is the Kernel Cleaner.
1. Place the file in the root of your /sdcard
2. Flash Kernel Cleaner
3. Flash/Fastboot Kernel
4. Reboot.
Download: http://d-h.st/onK
This second script I'm sure everyone is familiar with SUPERWIPE script.
Tired of wiping after every ROM or not knowing what to wipe to flash a ROM and have a clean install? Just flash this script & flash ROM easy right?
1. Place Wipe-Script in root of /sdcard
2. Flash Wipe-Script
3. Flash ROM
4. Reboot.
Download: http://d-h.st/gNu
Debug
If it doesn't flash please tell me what recovery your using.
ONLY works for the OPTIMUS G flashing this on another device will brick your phone.

Could put both into an Aroma installer zip...then choose in the UI. Then it'd be one file instead of 2.
Just my $0.02

Yes I'm thinking of that but want to add more scripts before I do so. Will save me some time.

Good deal
Let me know if you need any help with it.
I have seen these errors EVERYWHERE but noone matches my exact problem or reaches any solution.
Whenever I download an app, it says this.

and
Whenever I MANAGE to solve that problem with mysterious ways that I don't even know what I do, then this appears
And before someone says something I have already tried, I have:
Cleared the playstore cache and data
Cleared cache and data of play services
Wiped cache and dalvik
Reflash gapps
Using mobile connection
Another wi-fi
NEVER used luckypatcher
NEVER used titanium backup
Also, I have updated to the most recent playstore (4), still the same thing.
I am seriously desperated about what to do, it just won't work..
I had this problem on my phone tok once
I tried force stopping and clearing data and it didnt work
I reinstalled my rom and jst restored via CWM and it seemed to work
Never had the problem again
U cud also try installing some other app? Some apps jst wont install thru play store for me

Check if there are .odex files without correspondent apk inside system app and data app,and delete them..
Use an app like SystemCleanup to clean up unnecessary files, dead app data files, cached files etc. This should free up some space in your data partition.

The internal storage space shown in that application page is not correct
Even it shows 15x mb, I found it's only 25-50 in titanium backup
Maybe that's the Rom problem, I tried uhd and there are lots of storage space

Have you tried clearing the log data? It sometimes takes up lot of space on your phone.

Are you using ClockworkMod Recovery?
If so it's your ROM backups.
I am using clockwork mod recovery.

It is your rom backups. Go into rom manager and you will see your backups there. They are hidden when you check in the storage menu
Sent from your phone. You should be more careful where you leave that thing.
I'm sorry it can't be the log data. Have you tried installing another ROM? Maybe another cm version. Or you can try what skipjacks said. OR if you backed up anything using your clockworkmod recovery, you can go back to recovery and choose backup, then delete any unnecessary backups you may have. But mostly I'm thinking its a ROM issue because this has happened to me when I flashed certain Roms. Keep us updated

actually i am using "" Xperia S Boot Manager v0.8, a real dual boot system"" since from more than month.
every thing was perfect . i have android kitkat as native rom and xperia s stock jelly bean as my loop version.
i had backup my rom on TWRP for loop when every thing was perfect. last night i had modified the some system app app replacing them with custom. so system goes in boot loop for loop version. now whenever i restore the system my system starts and restore it correctly.
but here comes the problem after restoring whenever i reboot my system without any modification it again goes in boot loop.
then i wipe data,dalvik,cache and reboot again same problem. i dont want to loose my data help me.

usualy formatting before installing fixes the mounting issues after rebooting the bootmanager.
