Guys iam using b507 and i see a new theme on theme center. I Download and apply it then when lock the screen i cant unlock it i did a restart but no luck :S
The lock screen is not compatible with our screen resolution. You'll need to change the lock screen of the theme.
Also, to unlock, just pull down the notification bar, go into settings, and your phone will be unlocked.

I cant pull down the status bar but i unlock with caller custom message section. Thanks anyway

Key integral information would be what ROM and software you're using now. Some launchers have extra settings, that can inhibit the Android security settings if they conflict.
Also, you might find the answer by posting to the Thread where you've gotten your custom ROM...you might even find the answer (drum roll & dramatic pause for effect) searching.
currently i am using original firmware 2.3.6 from tmobile;

and did you make sure you didn't use titanium back up to remove or freeze something you shouldn't had? I accidentally did that b4 and caused something to not work until I defrosted it

When i set up the sequence lock on my Play, before that there is the lockscreen and only then i have to unlock the phone through the sequence. Is there a method to disable the lockscreen and when i press the power button to go directly to the screen of the unlock sequence? Or is there any lockscreen app that allows to unlock the phone through a combination/password/sequence?
Thanks!!!
Either this or this might help you.
I've already tried both of them but tey disable also the sequece lock screen

Hello All,
I was given a Galaxy W (SGH-T679M) to fix for a friend. Previously they had someone screw around with the pattern lock and couldnt figure it out. Originally could not even get into Stock Recovery because the Android icon would appear, the screen would stay on the picture for a few seconds then reboot.
So I managed to get a CMW 6 on there for a recovery. I have used Odin to return to stock even put on different ROM's (Like Peach Sunrise) and when the device boots, it goes through the Out Of Box setup, then once you hit the power button to lock the phone or let the LCD turn off on its own to lock im back at the same screen that says "Too Many Pattern Attempts".
This person also had their information changed to they can't sign in with the Google Account they had on it. The account was created a few years back and they dont know any of the information.
Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?

That's a very interesting Galaxy W you have there... Anyway, just clear data. There's no point in doing anything else...

Okay, So yes this isn't a Galaxy Wonder...Its an Exhibit II after doing some digging...But still I cant get past this screen.
So what happens is that if I flash say ICS or JB the "Too Many pattern attempts" screen is not present...However if I flash back to any GB ROM, custom or Stock..The device boots up for the 1st time just fine...then once you press the power button or the phone times out and "sleeps" the screen comes back.
A wipe in Recovery only gets it working 1 time and then after it locks or sleeps that's it.
Factory reset will remove the pattern

Hey guys .. Just flashed firmware marshmallow on my G3 but homescreen just keep blinking and I can't do nothing .. Somehow I enter to settings via notification bar shortcut , select EasyHome and this going OK, but when I choose Home the screen won't stop blinking
Do you have any idea how this can be fix ?
Thanks.
I just ordered the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, with the intent of unlocking, rooting, and installing custom ROMs.
When unlocked, does the phone's boot up process change? I.e., does it display a warning, require pressing a button to continue, or anything like that?
If there is a bootloader unlocked warning, can it be replaced (like replacing the boot splash on a Nexus or Moto device).
When you first turn on, on the splash screen there would be a opened lock icon on the bottom of the screen if bootloader unlocked.
Not sure on replacement

That's it, just a lock icon? No pauses, warning messages, etc?
I know my Nexus 5 and 7 have unlocked padlocks on their boot splashes. It's actually a nice look, as it lets you know that it is unlocked without trying to SCARE or WARN you that it's unlocked.
No pause, no separate screen. Just the icon, and it boots up normal speed.
