I was wondering if there is a keyboard (slide out) for the mini? since i have seen for the S4 but not for the mini, any alternatives for this phone?

Motorola and sony were the last 2 to make a phone with a physical keyboard.
T.T sadly .. they don't make devices like that anymore :crying:.

pretty much all the android roms will look the same (aside from sense)

Hero is probably the closest, although the G1 is close.
and even if the tp2 would be close to the desire z
we are not allowed to port any htc sense to other devices anymore...
at least in a lot of countries...
so yes...the answer would be no...
even though i would love to have sense on my tp2...
That's odd because the hd2 has a few desire ports that haven't been taken down due to copyright

Both of them are WVGA and have keyboards, but they aren't similar hardware-wise.

I wondered the same.
Im so sorry if this is a repost!!!! I just got a Note 2 and its killer, however I lived in the stoneage with a pantech slider phone. Im so used to the full sliding keyboard. I looked online and see flip keyboard cases, or "prop up" keyboard cases, thats not what I want, I am looking for a sliding one that is always behind the phonr until I need it. One that keeps my phone steary and is "locked" with the keyboard while I type instead of it flopping all around. Anyway. Ill keep looking while this gets some views and replies. Thank you for any help!

I saw that one. If anything I kight get it because its only $12. It just doesnt appear to attach to the phone in any way.

Is there a way to make it so if you have one of your fingers touching the screen doesn't register it like on the Ipad?

Do you mean like locking the screen so it won't register input? I dunno but what's the purpose of this? Just so I can think a bit about it. I don't see the use and can't imagine why you would disallow one finger input. :0

Like when I hold the tablet in portrait mode with one hand, my thumb sometimes clicks things or makes it so I can't click on anything because of the thin bezels on the sides. I heard the iPad mini has something that fixes this problem.

O sh*t, ye I understand your trouble on this. I'm afraid I dunno. I can try and see when I get home. If the feature is called by a name on iPad, one should be able to google that name and then finish with android, but I won't do research thru me tablet. But I'll try and look around mate.

Thanks. I can't remember the name of it but I remember hearing about it when the iPad mini was launched and was reminded of it as I am using my tablet..

Can't find a name, can only find mention of the feature in iPad Mini describingly. Tried a few searches. Seems like some people comment on this, the Android have been doing it for a while, but from manufacturers. Samsung and Motorola seems to be doing it. Can't find any universal app and no one mentions name of apps that does it on their android devices. It's probably coded into the specific stock rom. Other mentions that it is fairly hit an miss that it works.

It's like ChatOn, but appears to be specific to Samsung edge phones.
The reason I posted here was to start a discussion.. I wanted opinions and if anyone knew any special features about it then they might mention.. didn't really think it needed to go in the Q & A section because I had nothing specific to ask. Just thought it was a nice touch (only useful to people who had registered for it!!)
ya i got a s7 edge and always wondered about it. my friend got a note 7 and i finally got to try it out. couldn't see any reason why it is worth using

Hello. I had a Galaxy fold before and I liked one function very much, the keyboard which after opening the phone was divided into two parts. Maybe there is someone in this forum who knows how to do it in us MATE XS ?
