VivoTab RT 600 Ghost Touch Issue - Windows RT General

Hi everyone! I want to share this odd experience with the forum so we can disscuss about,
I've brought a second hand WinRT 8.0 VivoTab 600, it worked perfecly for 15 days and one day out of nowhere it started to not respond to commands and the touch screen went crazy so i odered another touch screen + Lcd form e-bay but when i fit new screen on the tablet the problem still reamin!
I can absolutely tell the screens are fully functional cos i tested both on another VivoTab and are working.
So i tryed to make one more test, to fit the screen and connect VGA flat only and not the touch screen ribbons to the Motherboard... And the problem still remain, ghost touch everywhere! the tablet is unusable! Only when i disable the touch screen driver Ghost touch issue stops...
What i could do? Upgrade to WinRT 8.1? Reinstall OS from SD? Throw it into the trash?
I've also tryed many many times system rerstore with touch screen disconnected... this is a software issue this i clear, what i can do now?
Thanks in advace.

[Q] Touch problem with games after glass replacement.

Hi,
on my Note 2 the glass was broken. I replaced the glass only (not the whole display unit) and all works OK, but if i play graphic intensive games after some minutes the display does not respond anymore. If i switch it off and wait a minute, it works again, but after some seconds the touch panel is not responsible again...
It seams to be a overheating problem, but why? What the f**** difference between whole display unit and glass only?? Is there a solution for that problem (without new display unit)?
TIA
T.

OK, in what way is the screen broken? It doesn't respond to touch at all or broken/smashed/broken
And what glitching do you get?
There is no way to disable the screen (do you mean digitizer here not the LCD?)
And you don't need to root for USB mouse.

the mouse works, but i was wondering, in some roots, you need to touch it and was asking if mouse works in them
the screen works, but is cracked, and there are lots of spassms even when i dont touch it, i think its to do with the broken digitaliser
-its got 4large cracks but you can still see everything.
No response to touch
by glitching i mean lots of touches, i turned on the thing where you can see the touches from developer optionsand it goes crazy sometimes
can i disable digitizer to stop it registering these things?
Why not just buy a replacement digitizer and replace it. There are YouTube video that walk you thru it and is really not that difficult!

Happened to me when the touchscreen broke on mine. I even disconnected the touchscreen ribbons and still experienced ghost touches when I held the tab in a certain position with pressure on the lower left glass surface. Guess it had to do with the lcd interference. Only solution for me was to replace either the touchscreen or the assembly.
Just replace it

How or why does one use a touch based android tablet with no touch screen? Especially when you are holding it at different angles? Why do you use it for? Fanning yourself when it gets warm?
Wouldn't this be like asking how to use a Windows computer without a mouse and a keyboard because you don't have a mouse and a keyboard?

Touchscreen doesn't work

Hi!
I've got my brother's Xperia S. About six months ago the touchscreen stopped work, screen and everything is fine, only touch panel don't react for touching it. Smartphone didn't fall, I don't know how it happened.
What do you think I supposed to do with it? I don't know if it's android issue, or just touchscreen was damaged. In movie below I used mouse to sterring it.
Thanks a lot for help if it's possible!

NON-Standard touch problem

Well,
Last month my NExus 7 2013 32 GB (wifi) had stopped working - it just freezed and after reboot got very hot and stopped at google logo. After one week of fighting , going through the depths of internet: xda, google & other sites I`ve decided to replace motherboard as it seems the emmc 32 gb memory got broken by itself. I`ve received new motherboard (with 16 GB emmc this time as it was 40USD instead of 80USD for 32 gb version) and installed correctly with a little help of ifixit teardown and youtubes.
It booted fine, all the buttons are working, but now I got this strange touch issue: the digitizer dont recognise my touch in a certain part of the screen - I`d say its 3mm wide line a little down from the top of the screen when in portrait mode.
I tought I did something wrong when putting parts together so I replaced new ribbons which came with new motherboard for the old ribbons from old motherboard. No luck here - this didnt resolve the problem. I also did install multi-touch-fix I came up here on xda some years ago (boot-ts12-lock.img worked for me fine). This also didnt change anything.
When I was replacing the motherboard I did it very carefully and I`m sure I didnt break anything - also I`m sure that before my old motherboard went down, the touch was working very well.
If anybody knows what I could do to save my little precious nexus from throwing to garbage, please help.
I`ve attached a screenshot from touch tester for all of You to see what I mean. Please note that some minor touch registered on this non-working part of screen are most probably some ghost touch as when I move my finger over that part of the screen it doesnt record anything.

Again problems with replacement screen

Hello,
three months ago the display of my OP3 stopped working, could see the leds flashing when starting up but nothing to see on the screen. So i tried with a broken display from a friends OP3 which was broken but fully working (touchscreen + display). Because everything was working fine with this display i bought an replacement screen from ebay.
First thing when i replaced the display was that with the new display the touchscreen gestures were gone. So i was not able to wake up the phone by douple tap or could start the torch/flashlight with gestures.
So i started searching on google and found out that this should be a problem of LCD as the original display is amoled and most (or all) of the replacement displays are "only" LCD. If that would have been the only problem i think i could arrange with it although i liked to use the gestures.
But sometimes i have the problem that after waking up the phone the touchscreen is not working. Then i have to urn off the screen again and wait some time. Sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes 1 or 2 minutes. This can be really annoying. Apart from that it seems that the touchscreen is working not as good as original one.
So i have a few question which should help me to decide, buying another replacement display, if that, hopefully found and amoled one. Or maybe there is another solution (like new flashing, but i don't believe in that solution really):
1. Is it really true that you can never use display gestures with an amoled display? Does this never works on LCD?
2. On aliexpress there are a few displays sold saying it is an amoled display but there is always said LCD in the title. Do you think that can be amoled or is that not true? If i would by another display it should bea an amoled.
3. Do you think it must be a hardware problem of the new display or it maybe help to put it apart again and there is just a simple connection error for example? Or do you thin it can be a software error?
Greetings and thank you for help

You can try two things. First flash an OOS ROM and see whether it resolves your issue (sometimes it does). Next, you can open up the phone and check the connections.
If both these fail, go for another screen which is comparatively costlier and from a reliable website rather than Aliexpress. The costlier ones usually do not have issues.
