Hey Guys,
There is something wrong with my HTC One X battery. The Battery Percentage doesn't change at all. For example, it was 100% for several hours and then suddenly turned off. When I charged it back, its now 46% and has been for 7 hours. What's wrong with it? How can I fix it?
PLEASE I NEED HELP!

maybe there is an hardware fault... you might send the device to repair service if still under warranty, or (if not/if you prefer) try a custom rom and kernel...
remember that the second option is quite dangesous, because of there is an hardware fault you might be charged a fee to get the device repaired...

I'm having a very difficult time understanding your writing style and need to clarify.
So far as I understand, you originally had Venom ICS flashed from the latest 4ext. After a few days or a week, half of the screen began flickering. I believe you then rerooted the phone? Then you full wiped (so that's system, data, and cache). You then flashed JellyTime R29 from CWM 5.0.37. The problem showed back up after a few days or a week again. Is that accurate?
Have you flashed any other ROMs? Has the phone been dropped or taken any other damage? Have you tried flashing a stock ROM? Have you had any ROMs on which the problem didn't show up? Did you have this problem on stock before rooting?

Assuming you did a full wipe of system, data and cache I can only guess that it's a hardware problem. It persists across multiple ROMs, so that's my guess. See if anyone else has a suggestion.

Wait, you didn't say that before. Have you messed with the auto brightness settings before? Try turning it off; is it still a problem? When you say flickering do you mean the back light? Or graphical glitches? Or something else?

The persistence across ROMs (and I'm assuming that you haven't messed with settings) suggests that it's probably a graphics hardware issue. I vaguely remember someone else having this problem but can't remember who; I'll ask around. Unfortunately I'm not from the Philippines, so I don't know where you can get it repaired.
I think gizmoe knows the answer to this one.

You can private message him here on the forums. His username is Gizmoe.
You can also search for the answer in the dhd and inspire forums, to see if it shows up.
I'm guessing gizmoe may not know the answer since he would have surely posted something in this thread by now. I may be wrong about that as I may also be wrong about him knowing the answer.

Hi everyone,
I seem to be having a problem with my One X, for the past hour the phone has been rebooting at random moments and its really p*issing me off!!
Its running stock ICS and all of the apps are installed from the play store so i don't think i have anything on it which is messing with it.
Is there anything i can do to stop this or do i need to wait for the Jellybean update and hope it will fix it?
I also heard that it might have something to do with my HBOOT which is 1.12 and i am waiting for 3 to update it!
Try to do a factory reset from bootloader first back up all ur data as factor reset vll erase everything
If the prob still exist take it to nearest HTC care centre
If I hve helped you press the thanks button ...

I have a LG G3 D855 and my problem is that my phone restarts a lot, like when it not plugged to a power source (pc or wall) it won't boot and if it reboots and i dont't have a power source near me i can forget using my phone cause there will be no way that it boots. After booting and i put in the pin number there is a 7/10 chance that it reboots and if it doesn't reboot by just simply trying to drag down the notifications bar it will reboot. If anybody knows what the problem is please tell me, im getting really annoyed by it. Thank you

I have stock marshmallow kdz flashed on my phone and since i cannot enter in my phone because after putting my pin number and i want to unlock it it reboots. I think it all happened after i wanted to install Xposed, and i needed to flash xposed framework and the phone went in to bootloop and had to bring my phone back using the .tot method. When i can enter my phone i will tell you my kernel the name of the kdz im using is this "D85530a_00_0225". Thank you

I updated to Nougat couple of days ago at firmware 2.41.400.5 stock rom
Battery issues was huge to me and couldnt find out why, can anyone help me to identify why my phone was awake overnight? It happens even in safe mode.. ><"
Will be glad if anyone could help or suggest anything, did a cache partition wipe and reset from recovery after the update.
These are some additional stats from GSAM battery
Mine is definitely shorter, but not as yours. And no issue like the OS huge consumption. I saw some other guys have the same.
I used to get 6h+ screen on time, now is less than 4h30.

Sorry man, I don't know. I'd say a hard reset, but that works 50-50 for the users who ran into the issue.

I had this issue both before and after i upgrade to nougat, but anyway, what I did was I let the battery drain the same way it does for about 1 week and recharge it every single time. I think after that the battery sets and now the battery life is pretty awesome during idle, less than 1% drain sometimes overnight, less than 5% if wifi is on. Perhaps just be patient. I doubt its a software problem.
Hope that helps mate.
Hey, I just bought a z2 plus and unlocked bootloader and started messing around. I installed viper rom and was going good but when I turned my cell down and connected it to charge, it starts itself. I tried a lot but no help. Finally I thought it maybe something to do with the rom so I flashed AOSP extended and now the same problem . I am just not able to make my cell charge while being switched off; it keeps on restarting. I don't think I was having this problem on stock rom as I used to put my cell on charge but turning it off at night. If anyone can help me with this it would be great..
