I've moved all the apps I could to my sd and still low on storage. Is there a way to delete other stuff on my phones storage?
Or move games that say they can't be moved to sd? Thanks

Do you have any apps that you no longer use? Have you gotten rid of the bloatware and unused Widgets? With a system level file manager like Root Explorer or via adb, maneuver to the /system/app folder and delete what you don't want, but before you do, know what you're deleting or you can cause problems. As a matter of fact, before doing anything, go into recovery and make a nandroid backup of your current setup so in case you mesa something up, you can return to the way it was. Finally, you might want to invest in a larger capacity card.

You can move dalvik to the cache partition. Also, what ROM are you using, it's possible on certain setups to be falsely reporting low storage.
Myns rom and how do i move the cache? Thanks

I haven't tried this, but, if you're using RLS5, there's a setting in the Spare Parts app that came preinstalled where you should be able to easily move the dalvik to the SD cards. Initiate the Spare Parts app, scroll down and select "Data Storage Option" and then scroll down and select "Dalvik-cache on SD Card. Again, I have not tried it.

If you have (or get) a2sd, you can do it from the terminal app.
Any help here would be appreciated. This happened twice with google maps and once with facebook. Instead of integrating, apps are being removed from phone.
I am on stangs rom the latest official deodexed gingerbread rom...never had this problem before.
Are you restoring data+apps? And if so what Rom did u back them up with?

Nah. When I install a new rom (like this one for instance) I only restore user apps and data. I leave all the internal apps alone.
Soo after getting updates for internal apps (like Gmail/Maps/Facebook) I use the intergrate button and then **poof** the apps are removed. Icon still shows up under system/apps in Root Explorer but the app and icon don't show up anymore on phone.
So what do you guys recommend? Should I just do this manually in Root Explorer? How can I integrate on my own to save some space?
Just wanted to bump. I know I can do this the reverse way while rooted. I guess by removing the app and reinstalling again but anyone else have any ideas?
Still getting this problem.
How much free space is is /system? TB may fail on moving if there is not enough space free.

Hmmm I bet you are on to something. Only about 3-4 mb free. Even though I can free up about another 40 mb by deleting an app.disabled folder I created. Thanks man I bet this is why.
I would really like to free up some space on my internal SD. I bought a 64GB SD card , and am using FolderMount to try and move the apps, but to no avail. Anyone figure this out yet? I am rooted running Infamous S4, and have removed all of the bloatware possible. Still really low an memory.
I use the stock file manager to move apps, i had this same problem with storage. Do you have more than one backup saved on your internal sd?

Like I stated in the original post, I am using FolderMount. The problem is the folders where the games should be are empty when I look for them. That is the ones I can find. Its like they don't really exist. I went into my data folder, did find one game, Zynga Poker, and tried to move it, pinned it, and it did absolutely nothing.
Your not moving the whole folder then. Your doing something wrong. Watch a couple YouTube videos on how to. Navigate to SD card, android, data or obb and select one of your games inside either of those two folders

Anyone tried shifting files from phone memory to memory card? (from your phone) It wouldn't happen. Why is that?

Requires root - Nextapp SD Fix
Root!? just to copy and paste files from our phone itself? That's really stupid don't you think?

It's the way Android is going. There are plenty of articles around explaining why this is happening. Similarly, root is being made more difficult for developers to implement in the next version of Android.
I think it's a pain, but there's no point in getting upset. It's a bit like having a moan because winter comes around once every year.
I had the same problem even with root using root explorer. Had to use ESexplorer and it worked fine.
I believe you can move many files to SD without root if you use settings.
Settings, Storage, Phone Storage, make more space, then select the folders/files and move to sd card.
Did that. Now I'm having problems shifting things stuff with in my memory card. Through es file explorer.

Iam a owner of a Samsung Note 4 ... Iam new born here... and my problem its I don't want to root ( on this time ) the cell....so I need to know if exist any way to : read and write a External SdCard.. because I cant do this...
please any ??
I don't understand why you can't. Lollipop allows it (you have to choose sd card directory for the app in question), at least on an app-by-app basis.

Well for example the app called: e-sword.. that cant access or run if the modules its on a external SdCard..so I need to put all the modules in internal memory..
Atach my system and the nag screen of e-sword
But they are another apps like "Pixlr" its a photo editors and cant save in the ExtSdCard... I came from S4 and on that phone dont have any problems

Oy. Sorry, I haven't even explored this dilemma, since I hadn't encountered it with any of my apps (yet). I tested out Pixlr, and you're right, it won't saved to the sd card (from the app). Not sure why. But I could still move the pictures with ES File Explorer or the built-in My Files. As for e-sword I can't find it in the English Play Store. So I couldn't test it out. Wish I could be of some help, but it'll take one of the smarter guys to field this question.

This feature is available on lollipop but the app developer needs to implement it, most are using the old method of read/write which only works on 4.3 or earlier, if you can use an alternative until the app gets updated
