Hello,
I own a bluetooth headphones that works perfect with music players, but I have problems with the FM radio. When I turn it on, it says I need a normal wired headphones to act as antenna. That is OK; I plug one, and it starts the radio, but when I make a bluetooth connection with the headset, radio says it is incompatible and can not run with bluetooth connectios.
I have also probed Spirit FM radio that says it is compatible with bluetooth, but I have not been able to get it to work.
Does anybody get it to work a bluetooth headphones with FM radio?
(I want to use FM, no stream internet radio. It eats my data plan as I listed to radio a lot).
Thanks

Hi
I bought a radio FM adapter. After plugin it to the phone I can use the radio but can not find any frequency. I have tried all the buttons but could not find any stations.
How to activate the radio ???
why buy a fm adapter, the phone has an inbuilt reciever.
All you have to do is plug the headset wich is used as antena
i know the evo uses a wired headset for the antenna, so im guessing its not possible to use the built in fm radio while using a stereo bt headset?
First, this is a Q&A question, not a Developer question...
That being said, No, you would not be able to use the FM radio through Bluetooth. It requires the wired headset to be used as an antenna.
just get radiotime and ou'll be able to listen to radio with your your Bluetooth headset.
I just rooted and flashed CM7.1. It's working perfectly and is blazing fast.
I need to take a few trips to Canada in the next couple weeks. Normally for my radio needs I would use streaming radio (car FM radio is broken in my 99 Accord, aux works fine), but since I want to avoid data roaming charges that's not an option.
I tested out the FM Radio and it works just fine. Strong signal and everything. The only problem is I can't scan for stations. I tried Spirit FM but the scan function doesn't seem to work.
Anyone got a solution for me?
I use TuneIn Radio so I can listen to NPR on the way to work. I just realized you can browse stations by country too! May want to check it out.

This doesn't use FM it uses data, so it's not what he's looking for.
I just flashed the CyanogenMod 7. I had the HTC Sence (Original ROM). Now the radio need to turn on the bluetooth to play the radio. Can I listen to the radio without bluetooth on? I don't understand why bluetooth needed..!
The FM radio and Bluetooth use the same radio/antenna.
And so you know, Bluetooth probably also turns on in Sense ROMs, HTC just used tricks to hide it.
I installed the "Spirit FM Radio Unlocked" and now i'm ok!
Hello,
i bought a new car radio (KENWOOD KDC-BT 42 U) and and external microphone. It was easy to connect my DesireHD to the radio via Bluetooth. But when i want to do a call, it uses the internal microphone from the DesireHD instead of the one from the radio, no matter if I set the option on the radio to intern/extern microphone (which actually stands for the radio-intern or by cable connected radio-extern microphone).
Is there an option on android to allow voice taken by bluetooth devices?
(Currently using JellyTime Rom, could this be a problem?)
