music player starts up on its own

Im using SPRINT LOVERS ROM (latest build) and I notice that when MEDIAPLAYBACKSERVICE is running, the sense audio player will start to play on its own. For instance, I will go into visual voicemail and play a mail.. I will hear hear the mail BUT then the sense audio player starts up. If I go into services and stop MEDIAPLAYBACKSERVICE, everything seems OK until that service starts again.
What is causing this and how do I resolve? Thanks ...

All I'm looking for is the .apk or mod you did to make the music player do this, it's quite awesome and you should share your work!

Questions belong in Q&A forums fyi.
If it helps, you should also post this in the original thread.
Try going to manage applications and locate your music app. Clear cache/data and try again.
If that doesn't help. Use a file explorer and copy/paste music.apk from rom and into root of SD card.
Go and uninstall current music apk and then install copied one from root of sdcard.
Can do this with free file managers like earring esfile manager or astro...
Can also wipe dalvuck and try again..or wipe and flash rom again...
Or u can share this uber music.apk like viper asked you...omfgbbqsauces

WHats happening is it is playing the SENSE music APP/WIDGET. Its not listed under ALL PROGRAMS. I think it is just a widget that I dont have on any of the sense screens. I do use it from time to time when a program automatically starts it up.. HOW do I make this NOT automatically start up??

The guy before you was harassing you because this should have been in Q&A. Also, did you try un-installing and then re-installing the app?

Why wouldn't you just post this question in the thread for that specific ROM, where everyone in the thread also has the same ROM or is planning to flash the ROM, instead of creating an entirely new thread for an isolated issue in a subforum strictly for sharing things people actually developed on their own?

Dude. You posted only after our suggestions to do it and it's been less than an hour since you posted.
Take a chill pill and try our recommendations first. I'd unsuccessful then wait for a reply in the original thread, make a logcat and post for the Dev in their respective forum.
You can download a logcat app in the market if u don't want to use ABD commands.
Hope this helps and be more conscious of where u post this please.

no.. I posted in the SPRINT LOVERS FORUM on PPCGEEKS and yes I have LOGCAT and I dont see anything strange...

This kind of harassment for posting in the wrong section is absolutely...... glorious.
Try posting in Q and A if you want a real answer instead of harassment.
Regarding your problem, I have good news.

And regarding the issue, post in that thread for help, possibly from the dev themselves. I use ATK to stop services I don't want starting up on their own again, you could try that for the time being.

[Q] Facebook app not working properly @ Gio

Hi,,
This problem is related to my gf's Gio, and she's driving me crazy to solve this
Well, a few days ago I flashed a CM ROM on her Gio, everything ok, Gio is great and so on, but her facebook app stopped updating the feed and she can't comment or send messages to anyone, she can only put "Likes" on the first feed page.
I thought it could be a problem related to the rom, flashed the adrenaline ROM and the problem remains, I unistaled, cleared data and unistaled, nothing happens.
Can anyone give me an idea?

Uninstall the facebook application. Reinstall, try if it works.

If that was the case, my apologies to him. No disrispect was intended.
Anyway, on my first post I mentioned that I already did that: "I unistaled, cleared data and unistaled, nothing happens."

use an alternative facebook app, the normal one is slow, buggy.

+1 - Facebook apps sucks big time. Look at the comments on market, most of them are negative. I'm using FriendCaster, it's pretty fast...

Well, I tried the older version of facebook app and it is working.

It's lighter than the newer version, and it is working properly

None of them works for me in cyanogen Rom.
But all of them work fine in stock.

Damn, the problem returned even on the older facebook app. Suddenly its impossible to coment and doesnt update...

Sometime i faced same issue...
But now i always used Friendcaster Pro.

Is there any facebook app with chat? (without the official) I know that there's a facebook chat app, but she would have to use 2 apps intead of one.

I'm using CM9 Beta 8 and I do receive FB updates and feeds, but when I click on a post, the post is blank.

Got the same. Something shows only when you want update notifications . I'm not able to use it anymore -,-

[Q] Sony Xperia's Timescape not working probably.

Guys,
Recently I found out that Timescape exists (I know it sounds ridiculous). I connected my Twitter and Facebook accounts without any problems. Sadly though I tried to refresh the feed, when I get a notification of Facebook saying: "Could not update from Facebook, please tap here to retry." I don't know but am I the only one getting this error?

Facebook changed their SDK, and ICS is still using the old one. It won't work until Sony updates to JB.

I find that hard to believe seeing how so many devices are running old versions of Android. Most SDKs have some backward compatibility surely?

It isn't related to the Android, but to Facebook SDK itself. I read it on Android Police or Engadget, don't remember. It just means everyone who uses Facebook SDK in their apps will have to update them. As Sony doesn't provide the Timescape on Play Store, you need to wait until they update the Android. I don't think a new ICS version will come fixing that.

I have the Same problem , i Reset my phone , reinstalled Stock Rom , still doesent work , i just downloaded the timescape from one of the other Xperias and it worked fine for a few months and now i have the same problem

Same, and I agree with Felimenta97, it's app related...

I just deactivated the FB account , cleared the data in FB and related apps. Then reactivated and login FB in app and enabled FB inside Xperia , Timescape FB feed is working properly am in Xperia ultimate HD ROM

I am having the same problem too.I posted my comments for the game dead trigger only to find it missing there.I did all the steps like u did, even stupidly tried. clearing the data from play store app and as expected nothing really worked.It seems to be a weird problem.Hope someone can help

I don't think much help is going to come into this matter since its a problem from google's side and it only affects just a few people.If more people would have had this problem maybe a workaround would have come.But still hope some workaround will come regarding this problem.

How to fix USSD code issues in custom roms(aosp,cm etc..)

holaaaa .... hi every one back with a new tip
Every one might have faced ussd codes problem in custom roms especially in AOSP roms .. where in you cant check your mobile operator balance(simply to say balance info) . So for that you dont need to switch to another rom because of simple problem
Here it is .. there is an app called true phone dialer&contacts .. download it from google play store and enjoy it..
One intereserting thing is , it supports dual sim dialer also .. so enjoy it
