Headphone mike problem

I am using xperia s, today when I connected my headphone the speakers are working but mike is not working but I checked the headphone with other phone it's working good.... I need to know whether the headphone jack is not working or firmware problem??

USB audio

I am looking for a way to connect my Telus sgs3 to my car stereo via USB and play music from my phone via USB in my car. I am running slimbean rc1 4.2.1. I have tried connecting the device with my stock charging cable without much success as the device does not get recognized. I have tried an otg cable without success. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Which ROMs have working BT streaming music?

Just purchases some Jay bird blue Bud x headphones only to realize cm doesn't have Bluetooth fixes yet. I'll go back to cm when it's fixed but I need my music for running!

No it wasn't. Calling works on Bluetooth but others also reported music not playing.
For me, every time I connect the Bluetooth headphone my phone slows and eventually ill have to reboot because of no screen wake

CM 10.1 20120203 - BT audio fixed, according to 30 people in the thread. Unless I can't read. Did you wipe cache/dalvik?

Yes. I did a clean install... I just went back to the thread to make sure I'm not going crazy. Two or three pages from the last post some people explained having the same issue.
I can get the music to play fine until the screen goes off. Then I'll have to restart the phone. I've already tested it 4 times and still get the same results.

I don't use blue tooth but doesn't the stock or most stock based ROMs have working Bluetooth?

I don't know why Samsung would release a phone that doesn't have working BT, I mean they got past all their issues with their first couple releases of phones lol.

Galaxymod rls15 has it working I am curently using it now.. As you can see In the screenshot I am connected with Bluetooth and the Rocket Player is playing.. And it the picture I took that is my Bluetooth/aux speaker and I am connected to it :beer::beer::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

My bone stock GS3 Bluetooth works...paired it with my car stereo deck (DEH-X6500BT) and it streams perfectly. Don't know why its not working for you.

The only BT device I have are my headphones so I don't have anything else to test on. Just downloaded stock ROM and I'm going to test it.

If you want aosp rom illusion 1.2.1 has Bluetooth working for both audio and media. Tested by me.

Are you using that ROM now? If so cab you see if 8tracks will stream correctly?

[Q] ear phone Jack isn't working?

I've realized that whenever I plug a pair of earphones I only hear static-like sounds and the media comes out through the speakers instead... Anyone gone thought this?

Are u using stock ear phone??? maybe it is the problem

I've flashed Both GB+ICS v7 Full and GBv12 full and both had the same issue... Should I change roms? (Thinking of moving to Bane Of Speed)-

Samsung S5 & Lineage 14.1 - Bluetooth Issue

Hello,
I upgraded to Lineage recently, but cannot get Bluetooth to pair with my car. It finds the car's Bluetooth headset, but when I try to connect nothing happens.
It worked fine on CM 13. Is this a known problem? Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Please disregard this post. I had to remove my previous Bluetooth connection from my car's entertainment system and now it just connects fine. User error.

I added one of my BT speakers with no issue, but then I found that had to restart my S5 before it would detect my BT headset and another speaker.
