When I close the last tab in browser, I get "about:blank" - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well, I decided to ask here, because I am having a strange issue.
On my N7105 (CleanRom V5), to exit the browser, I used to close the last tab in the browser. Then, the browser used to exit, and the next time I opened the browser, it used to open with my home page.
Since some time, when I close the last tab in the browser, I get a blank page "about:blank" and the browser doesn't exit.
I have an exit button in the browser. So, I can close the browser by clicking this button, but I prefer having two ways to exit the browser.
What I don't understand is, I even reinstalled the rom, but the problem is still there.
Does someone have an idea?

Surfing web cuases explorer shut down

Ok guys I'm running Kavana 6.1 on the Tmob dash. I also am running mini weather 1.3. been working flawlessly except one issue. If i surf a web page with lets say a lot of images or a long threaded forum like this my phone kills explorer and sends me to the home screen. I reopen explorer it goes to the defualt homepage and the back button doesn't take you back to where you were. It's almost like as the page caches it runs out of memory and exits the program. How do I allow explorer to use more memory? Thanks
you need to stop using pocket explorer..it was put there to make people like you crazy. go get opera mini or skyfire. you will be much happier

[Q] AOL Webmail Visibility issues

So I still use my aol webmail account (webmail.aol.com) and am having a issue on my g2. For some reason I cannot scroll to the right or left when logged into the webmail. This is a problem because I cannot see the entire email since it overlaps the screen view. Rotating the phone sideways helps a bit but doesn't fix the problem at all. I never had this issue with my G1 and do not have the issue using Opera mini browser (dolphin, full opera, and stock browser have the problem). My question is, is there anything I can tweak to that it will come up correctly? I've already swiched the user agent setting but nothing seems to make a difference. Thanks!
Also, if I open a message and hit the provided back button, it just reloads the messaged, does not take me back.

[Q] Edit stock browser long press menu

Coming from the HTC EVO, their stock browser had an option to share an image when you long pressed on it, I noticed this isn't an available option... Is this something that can be easily added?
I used that option literally everyday as it would enable me to easily transfer the image to my messaging app where I could send it out via MMS.
I've tried other browsers, Opera, xScope and none of them seem to have this option either.
Any suggestions?

Forum problem with FireFox

Over the last few days, the forum has been unreadable with Firefox (on Win7). Every forum page constantly reloads. To be able to scroll, click a link, or anything else, I have to click the "stop" button. And I even have to time that just right or it either still reloads the page again, or it stops before it loads any content so I just have a blank white page. I did not update Firefox between the page working and not working correctly. I have since updated it, but no change. I have killed all of my add-ons (just NoScript and a couple web development based add-ons) and it still does it.
I can browse the forums in IE, but even there I notice the "xda" logo on the IE tab flashes between the logo and the reloading circle symbol.
Is it just me, or is it something with the site? This is the only web site I'm having any problems with.
All fine here on Windows 7 and Firefox.
Once I load an actual post (such as this one) the reload issue stops. It only happens on the levels up from this one.
mother ****ing win
Yeah it was giving me issues too but in ubuntu, so I went to look for another browser.
When I stumbled upon this:
I have been having the same issue. I read a few days back that someone thought there were issues with NoScript in Firefox. I wish someone would respond and fix or suggest a fix.
In the meantime, I either use Chrome or switch back to the 2010 theme for XDA in Firefox, and they work fine (though I would prefer the 2013 beta theme if it were working).

Browser won't load page in the morning after phone sits all night

I am having an issue with Dolphin browser (don't know if others are affected) Every night I browse a bit before plugging in the phone and going to bed. In the morning, I grab the phone, open back up Dolphin and try and reload the pages. However, none of the pages will reload, nor will any new pages load. I have to exit dolphin completely and reload for things to start working again. The data on the phone is obviously working as my weather and email widgets as well as email loads properly in the morning.
Any ideas?

Not really but I would test it with another browser. At least then you will know if its just a dolphin issue or something more
