Hii... I just installed CM11 Nightly Kitkat on my kindle and its been working fine. All of Sudden I get a message saying my Internal storage is running low, even though I have just three apps. I went to the storage settings and it calculates that I've only used like 200Mb but the bar shows about 1gb used. I reflashed the Os, and the problem was gone, but it came back again and. I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!
Are you allowing google to auto-restore your apps, using titanium backup, other backup or installing them fresh from play store?

I Flashed the MIUI over to my Incredible but, upon doing that my internal memory says that it is full, and i know i have at least 6GB's free. Also when i go to the sd section in system settings under internal memory it shows 0.0TB free and 6.79TB Used, i don't terabytes of memory on my phone, also when i try to add my Google account it just freezes when loading, i don't know what's going on, if anyone could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.
Wipe everything in the mounts and storage menu in recovery and then reinstall your rom.
ok I did the following.
went back to stock ics (original)
installed the new update
rerooted
re unlocked boot loader
re cwm ed
re installed the sd card swap
it all appears to be working.
but ti bu stopped
so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstalled it but I get "
"insufficeint storage AVAILABLE"
I was able to install some huge game after that so its not a space issue
see it swapped
internal storage shows 29gb free
sd card shows 4gb free
tried an older version. same issue
so whats up
never mind. i did a factory reset and started over. (stayed rooted)
Hey all. Flashed ViperX4.0.1 Rom with CWM.
After installing with aroma and getting back my missing apps from Titanium backup I noticed I wasnt able to install any other apps from the market duo to a "Insufficient storage space". When cheking space specs out I see I have 6.5/6.6 GB used on m internal storage.
Apps are not the issue here. the "other" tab hold 6.8 GB.
Any Idea how to fix this? What should I delete/restore?
Thanks!
Why am I getting "Insufficient storage space available" when I try to install an app?
I am running Cyanogenmod 1.10-InstallerXNPQ32P on a Samsung Galaxy S4 (T-Mobile), with that, the Android version is 4.4.4
My internal storage has 2.3GB used, and 7.3GB free. I have uninstalled other apps in order to attempt to install more, it worked eventually and I was able to install an app to transfer apps to my external SD card, but once they notified me that they were unable to do this due to my phone type, I uninstalled them and am attempting to install STORAGE PARTITIONS by LAKSHMAN in order to see how this space is so low, and once again i am unable to install anything due to insufficient space. I have looked everywhere, I have cleared every cache imaginable and uninstalled at least 4 apps in order to figure this out. There seems to be no way that I have insufficient space, and yet, I am told I do. I can't find where to solve this problem.

This is a problem I have been grappling with for weeks. I'm running a Nexus 10 tablet with 32GB internal storage, 17GB free. Rooted, with CM11 M11 installed. Some updates fail with the 'insufficient storage' error, others update normally. Size of the update does not seem to matter. Some large new installs will fail, others will work. Some new installs of 2 to 3MB will fail while a program of 25MB will install. Sometimes uninstalling the old version will enable me to install the new version. Sometimes not.
I've searched the web, as well as XDA, anhave tried so many different fixes, but have found no definitive answer.

Using my wileyfox swift for a few days now and having a blast. This is the cheapest phone I ever got and i'm enjoying it
even more than my Nexus 4.
Today on the other hand, something strange happened to me.
Phone was working fine with a Samsung Evo 32 GB UHS-I formatted as internal storage.
Today I decided to move some apps from internal storage to the SD. I should have never done this..
After 3 apps the phone would stop moving them and stuck at 0%.
I thought this was just (another) android bug an rebooted the phone.
I moved 3 more apps and the same problem occurred.
This time the phone got stuck in bootloop at the wileyfox logo and a soft reset solved this.
When the phone booted I noticed 6 apps had disappeared, strange thing is. These weren't the apps I moved to my SD.
After opening the app drawer my phone froze completely, another soft reset was needed. This went on 5 more times, until I
removed the SD card. After this the phone started fine.
I checked the SD in my laptop and it was only showing the folder "Lost.dir".
When trying to format the SD card it was only showing a option to format it to 16MB.
After this i used Windows build in "disk manager" and noticed that there was a second (and main) partition of 16MB on the
card(?!).
After removing this partition I could format it to the original size.
It took me 5 tries before the phone would format it to use as internal storage. It would force close 4 times before with
an error message.
Can't find anything related about this issue on Google, is this a known bug?
TL;DR: Moving apps from internal storage to SD f'ed up my SD partition/card. Can't find anything about this issue online.
Phone info:
Wileyfox Swift
Cyanogenos 13.1.2, latest updates installed.
Not rooted, locked bootloader, nothing modified.
Even if u can use sd card as internal storage or whatever is not recomended to use it. Or even move apps on it my friend lost his 32gb sd card after using app to sd or something similar i dont remember
Actually this is some solid advice for everyone.
I tried using a build in feature and it did a whole lot of staying things. Since this happened I will stay away from the feature.
