ABOUTThis is a GUI to install the TWRP (Jellybean and Kitkat) for the P6, as well as to revert back to stock recovery written in C#. Some options are to install boot images. There is also option to unlock bootloader, but I'm not very sure that it works. I was quiet for quite a while since my last release of TWRP CMD Installer, working on this.
I would be excited to hear any feedback or suggestions.

Reverting to stock recovery for Jellybean and Kitkat B506.

INSTRUCTIONSHere are the steps:
1. Download file here. http://goo.gl/PXs0IR
2. Extract the rar to desktop.
3. Run "P6Toolkit.exe". You do not need admin settings.
4. And just follow instructions on the screen from there.

Exactly! I want to add those features, just not really sure how to add them to my program.
Root is not as easy as adb push superuser.apk, is it? I could adb sideload the superuser.zip but I don't feel that is automated.
As for installing drivers I think I might be able to try and add it.
For either of these functions, if any of you guys have an idea PM me.

For the root i think you should look how TWRP roots a firmware and than do that via fastboot

Ok, I will look into that, thanks Hopefully I'll be able to find a way to get root working.
So far I am looking into driver issue. I think it is easy to solve.

I haven't made any new releases lately, really wish I could but I'm really busy.
I'm also waiting for Huawei to finalize the kitkat updates.
There's been B506, B507, B510, B511 released only in the past two months!
I think I'm going to wait for Huawei to get to a stable ROM for me to release the next update.
If you guys really need me to make a update for a certain version (B510, B511 or support for Windows XP) then PM me or submit your request in the request section and I'll try to see if I can do some changes.

Yeah, its strange but all I could find are the original Huawei stocks and some Apple-like themed, in fact, still the original stock-based ROMs.
Btw, is someone able to provide some Sony S series like designs? Something....just more simple.
There hasn't been a ton of development for the P6 yet. Partially I think it's the proprietary chipset Huawei used, and also I think it is because there isn't an easy way to unlock the bootloader. MIUI is decent so far, but that's about it for custom ROMs

I would love to try a cm mod on my p6. I was hoping by the time kit kat came out there would be something but so far nothing special..

What? I can say that Surdu_Petru here in XDA managed to flash CyanogenMod 10.1 on his P6, but its stuck on boot logo. If / when he gets it booted succesfully, he has to fix some driver issues, and then we can use CM on our device !

I can't get into Recovery Mode with 4.4.2. After the blue "Booting in Recovery Mode" I get an red errorline and it boots up normally

I never try it for the new official Sammy 4.4.2, only for the CM11 and 2 other ROms availiable here on XDA and also for the original Sammy 4.2 I had when I got the phone. I can backup and recover all those roms. From what I read the new official 4.4.2 has a different structure so maybe thats why CWM fail with it. But for sure it works for 4.4.2, maybe just not for that original Version!?

No my buildbox is still dead , but i am using my personal pc to build this , anyway , all of the issues in the recovery are happening due to mr sammy not releasing new kernel source , i asked them multiple times but no answer till now , people collabrate with me and go to samsung orc center found here and file a request for source code and make a big request for our bevolved active :good:

There is three versions of the P6 : P6-U06 (International or Unicom) P6-C00 (Telecom version) and P6-T00 (Mobile version (only on chinese carriers))

P6 Unicom: http://www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=hwdownload&mod=detail&mid=42
A Telecom fw can be installed on a Unicom phone but you can have some problem. A Mobile version is only for chinese carriers so you can't use it.
B709 is actually only for the Telecom version but Oxalis repack it for the P6-U06 (TWRP mode) here
Note :
If you install this version or an other B7xx fw you can have a problem with your internet connection it's just the fw which detect your P6-U06 as a P6-C00 you need to go under TWRP and wipe Cache + Davik Cache + Custom storage then reboot. The fw will detect your phone as a P6-U06 and internet will work through 3G.
It's because Unicom Develop (Or Stable) Versions are build under chinese Telecom fw.

this twrp work only 3.1 emui/ 5.1 android . Huawei in 5.1 change many links . Not use this twrp for restore 3.0emui / 4.4 android .
I'm working on dual/multiboot recovery .

Hi all!
I am looking at getting official TWRP support for the Mate 8 (aka 'Next') (as I have for the other Huawei / Honor devices.
After creating a basic build tree, I have been spending countless hours reversing the decryption routines from the stock recovery and the good news is - I have a RC build online ready to try, complete with /data decryption!
I will be submitting the files for official TWRP support shortly, but in the mean time you can check out the build below. Flash using 'fastboot flash recovery' and, of course, use at your own risk.

How can I restore my backup from TWRP 2.8.x.x to the new one. The new one doesn't recognize my last backup...
install 2.8 twrp, restore backup, install 3.0.2 twrp, make backup, now u can restore it

You need to format your data partition for it to work. Although I had some compatibility issues with ROM B133 and TWRP 2.8, which might be related to compatibility between ROM B180 and TWRP 3.0.2. I'm no expert by the way.
But I had a similar issue. But you might lose your internal sdcard data. You should do a backup of your internal first. Now I'm looking to restore my data from my last backup from TWRP 2.X.X.X but the new TWRP seems to not recognize it.

Well it seems like the new ROM B133 is not compatible with TWRP 2.8.
I have tried several times to push for the 2.8 but I was stuck in a recovery bootloop. When I restarted my phone using power button, pressed vol+ or vol- and power button, I had two vibrations then the bootloop. But after leaving the phone for a while and trying again I was able to bootload. It seemed to be a hit and miss. Then I was able to install TWRP 3.0.2 and it worked.
I will try again for 2.8 and see if it will work this time.
I'll update to B320 today and create a compatible version.

another possibility would be to use titanium backup and extract everything u need from the twrp backup

BUT i just flashed it, now it boots into recover, but i don't have access to internal storage ... also it don't save the settings!
