Myself I am facing a similar issue here. I purchased a note 2 from Korea LG U+ SHV-E250L which has Android 4.3 Jellybean but I have moved to Africa and am having issues where by all my friends with international note 2 have installed kitkat while mine hasn't received any updates yet even when I do try from KIES or OTA.
Even on XDA a few people talk about this product even the existing page is so old dating 2yrs back. Are we gonna be locked out for good.

No Sms & Call on LTE status
Hi! i bought this LG U+ SHV-E250L note 2 LTE but the only problem I'm facing now is, I cannot call or send an sms while on LTE status. What I've noticed is that when my status drops to 3G again this is the only times that I can do those. I've tried looking the settings on which I can turn off the LTE but I cannot find it. My note 2 now is updated with the latest version 4.4.2 Kitkat for this device.
Can somebody help me to fix it. And also where can I find on the settings the option to choose if I would like WCDMA/LTE..

hey brother, What rom did you end up using, for your SGH-I317 , I managed to get the international I 9505 Phoenix software to work on my SGH-I337 S4, so far boot loops with 7100 Phoenix rom on the I317 so sad, I got her back to stock now, but want the spanish language and mult window features of advanced ROM

The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..
I really hope on some help

I live in Shanghai and the last time I saw a Android 4.1.5 was on a fake Galaxy S3.
If it's a fake Note2 there's nothing XDA can do for you.

I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one

And FYI I would like to flash cwm ROM and flash 4.2+ like jellybean or kitkat sir but I just can't enter download mode but I didn't yet used adb download mode bcoz its very big to download man.half a gig.Thanksgiving

The update is not released to all regions at once. You can update manualy by downloading original Samsung stock ROM from SamMobile and flashing it via Odin if you don't want to wait...

Ditto Note 3 for those Note 3 spen features. Download ROM for 4.3 if u want stock ROM. Any country SHOULD work. (Just make sure the frequencies for Telstra and the ROM u download is correct.) (PM for in depth explanation )

Not from the N7100, but we can use a leak from the N7105, when one drops.

I rooted my SGH-I317 and when I went to install the Cm11 rom it said status 7 error and it said this phone is t03g i understand what status 7 mean but what is t03g and what is that compaerd to t0lte

I believe your's an at&t phone?t03g means international note II GT N7100 which is non lte, t0lte means the lte variant GT N7105 also t0lteatt and t0ltetmob exist which is self explanatory.

i figured that out but why does it say that Im international even though Im in the Us and Im using ATT.Is there any way that I can get a CM11 version that is t0lteATT. I would love to get this rom working :laugh:
