[Q] Need help reverting my One X to stock - HTC One X

Hello all,
I need to get my HOX back to stock for work purposes and so far it's been a total and complete fail.
I've checked this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859714
And then this one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140. Looks like I'm out of luck, my CID is HTC__203, no nandroid backup available.
So I looked into the RUU route and I can't for the life of me find the correct one, my version being : version-main: 3.14.401.619
Tried RUU_Endeavor_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.31_R_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_302015_signed, obviously it gave me a signature error
I've browsed the few RUU repositories I could find with no luck, every file I find is for 3.14.401.31.
Can anyone help me out with either a nandroid backup for CID HTC__203 or point to me a working link for the proper RUU for my version ?
Hboot 1.31, currently running Android 4.2.2 (Android Revolution).
Halp pls

Try this :
Download a 2.17.401 nandroid backup (any that's available and do not look at the cid) and restore it. Then flash back the stock 2.17.401 HTC recovery and check for official ota in the settings-about-software menu !

[SOLVED] How do you restore back to stock rom, from CyanogenMod HTC One X?

I flashed CyanogenMod version 10.1.2 endeavoru. After using for awhile I decided I wanted to go back to the stock rom with the idea of being able to OTA if an update is released.
Unfortunately I didn't have the backup to go back to, when I tried the correct RUU it gives an error message 140 stating, basically the bootloader version is newer on the phone, so I tried to use a stock Nandroid from the collection that was uploaded by BugsyLawson and this seems to restore but then when the phone loads up the hard buttons seem to work but the touch screen isn't responsive, any help would be appreciated or even a point in the right direction, as I can't find anything from searching.

Post this :
Fastboot getvar version-main
That number will tell you the exact number of nandroid backup you need !
You probably restored an older ics nandroid backup while you have the updated touchpanel drivers. So that's probably why touch doesn't work.
So get the main version and check for that nandroid. Flash the boot.img from the backup, make a full wipe and restore the nandroid.

I did originally use the wrong nandroid back and then I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2384861 where your links and posts were very helpful, so it's all restored and seems to be working fine.
Thank you very much :good:

ı have already red this before.
no 4.18.401.2 htc M__27 bac up included.
Do this :
Download any 3.20.401 nandroid backup. Restore it and flash back the 3.20 stock recovery after that. Then reboot the phone and do all OTA updates via the settings-software update menu. After that you can relock the bootloader if you wish. The official ota will make the cid correct again.

[Q] HBOOT for J_15

My Hboot is 1.39
and i wanted to know what is the latest Hboot for this CID
as i saw some guys here having the same CID and have Hboot v1.73
So can someone help before i screw up my phone ?
BTW i am currently with ARHD 31.3
Also , My stock backup is gone , so thats an issue and i didn't find a ruu for my phone.
Some hints :
Fastboot getvar version-main
That command gives you the nand number you need. Check in the general section for the nandroid backup collection. And restore the one you need if it's available for download. After restore you need to flash back the stock recovery and update. How to is described there too.
And yes there are updates waiting for you.
Cheers.
Ruu is not available indeed. And if there is no nand available just keep on using a sense 5 rom if you want. All current roms work on your 1.39 hboot.

If you wish to update the hboot, all u need to do is do a nandroid restore to 4.0.4 (which is available in this forum)..fastboot flash stock boot.img, and fastboot flash stock recovery.img and lastly relock the bootloader..then update your phone normally via OTA to get the latest rom and hboot..unlock and install custom roms...that's it...
And do NOT loose another stock backup again !
Edit :
Relocking the bootloader is not needed. The 1.29 and the 3.16 are available. The 1.29 is probably of no use because i don't think you find official ota with that anymore. The 3.16 may be of use but therefore we need your main. If your main is lower you cant use it either !
You can find them here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
@amirage where is the 4.0.4 ? I can't see it at this moment.....another thread ?
1.29 = 4.0.3
3.16 = 4.1.1

i think there is not RUU for 4.x main version, you just need to find a stock nandroid backup and restore it via recovery if you want complete stock, you also need to find the stock recovery and flash it after the nand restore, and last step is to relock bootloader... look around for some guides so you'll find out what you need

[Q] Restore stock ROM

Hi everyone
I recently updated my HTC One X (locked to O2 UK) to CyanogenMod 10.2.1
I unlocked the bootloader from HTCDev, installed ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.0 and rooted the phone.
I tried network unlocking the phone yesterday after receiving the unlock code from O2, however I found out after looking online that custom ROMS are missing the components to complete the unlock process.
I kept receiving a "Network unlock process unsuccessful" message on screen...
I need to restore a stock ROM running Sense apparently, my question is what's the correct process to go through?
I did a Nandroid backup yesterday of my current setup with CyanogenMod installed, tried installing a stock ROM I found but it didn't work.
Using ClockworkMod recovery the ROM installed fine however after rebooting the phone it was stuck at the HTC boot screen and wouldn't load the OS properly.
Can someone please point me in the direction of the O2 UK stock ROM and advise what the best procedure is?
Thank you in advance

Only chance
Thank you for the very quick reply!!
I'm not sure which of those backups I need? Is this the one:
CID 02__001
Nandroid Backup 1.29.206.11 CID 02__001 thanks to hackarchive (O2)
Do I just need to extract it as the instructions say then do a restore? I suppose afterwards I will be able to restore my CyanogenMod backup and be up and running again?
Thanks
You need the rom that matches the outcome of :
Fastboot getvar version-main
And indeed as the thread says, unpack to the specific recovery folder, flash the boot.img, full wipe and then restore
Thanks for that
However there doesn't seem to be a ROM that matches my handset, I got the following result:
4.18.206.4
Thanks
Hi
Is anyone able to help?
I need a Nandroid backup from a UK O2 HTC One X with the software version of 4.18.206.4
Thanks in advance

RUU for cid 621, TW .709

Hello, been looking for a way to return to stock xx.xxx.709.xx with cid_621. I'm on developer firmware atm and the only way to return is by flashing a RUU, but unfortunatly I've not been able to find any. Any help would be highly appriciated. Doesn't matter which version just a RUU for 709 works. Thanks
I assume your device is S-Off, if not how can you have Developer Edition firmware on it, right ?
Why do you need a RUU to revert to stock ? You can simply restore a 4.24.709.3 backup and its stock recovery then do OTA to 6.12.709.4
You can get all the needed files here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
If you insist to install RUU, there is one untested but a very old RUU, means if it is successful installed .. you need to do a lot .. a lot of OTA up to 6.12.709.4
You can find it here, it listed on top and it's a RUU zip, not exe - http://androidruu.com/?developer=M8

Yeah .. don't need RUU .. you need a non-rooted stock ROM and stock recovery.
