Got a question for anyone who's knowledgeable.
So I had problems keeping up with conditioning and charging the zero lemon battery (it takes really long to charge it) and I stopped using it for about two months already.
Last night when I tried to charge the battery my phone's back and menu buttons light up and boot logo appears. After that it says the battery is at 100%
Using since last night and the battery hasn't drained at all. I was wondering if it could just be calibration errors or it really lasts this long lol. Can anyone give their opinion?
I'd appreciate all the opinion I can get while I try to drain the battery to at least 99% hahaha.

Recently my battery life has dropped extremely low. I have been running setcpu to underclock when not in use to preserve battery life and it was working very well draining 1% on standby every 2 hours approx. A couple days ago I had it on standby and somehow in the morning the battery was completely dead after I had fully charged it the night before. It is such a drastic drop and I didn't even change anything that I think it's the actual battery itself. I can watch the %'s drop just watching my phone now. Has anyone else had a problem with this? It seems that the battery can't hold a charge anymore.
Looking at my phone right now, I had it off the charger for about 10 minutes after it fully charged and it's already down to 90%.
The first question that comes to mind is have you made any changes lately? Installed new software? upgraded something? If your phone was getting okay battery life last week and now it's not, it's time to start pin pointing what, if anything, has changed. Keep it mind it is possible for a battery to die...
Someone on this forum told me to erase the battery stats. I was told to go into the recovery. I use clockwork. There is an option to reset battery stats. This worked for me but do some research on this site. I am not an expert but was told to do this by someone who is

Hello guys,
I have a GSM Galaxy Nexus running the latest Android 4.2.1 Officialy from Google. I hae bought an original extended battery for it, but the issue is that it seems that it holds less juice than the original one, that came with the phone.
With the default battery, i get around 3 hours of screen on and with the extended one, i barely get 2:40 minutes. Tried this a couple of times.
What's the matter with it ? Do i need to calibrate it somehow ?
I have the same battery and had the same issue. After using it for about a week it started working better. What I suggest is charge it all the way up and then use it until it completely goes dead then fully charge it again. Do this a few times then you should notice the difference which isn't huge but I'm averaging about 4-5 hours more than standard now.

I did this allready, and there's no improovement.
I have been using this batter for over 1 month now.

With Li-ion batteries, this should make no difference what so ever. It should get better over time. From what I've researched, you should never let a li-ion battery fully die. When it hits 20% - 30% fully charge and then don't charge again until you hit 20%. There are only so many charging cycles on a battery.
You might have something constantly running in the background that is eating your battery. Try juice defender, it drastically improved my stand by time.
What i was saying:
The stock battery holds a charge of ~3 hours of screen on time
The extended battery holds a charge that lasts less than 3 hours witch is strange because it haves a bigger capacity.
Is there any way to reset the baattery stats ? Or to reset the battery count ? Something like that ?
The whole "wipe battery stats" thing found in CWM is useless. Confirmed to be by a developer at google.

I see. Anything else i can try ?
Hi Guys,
My issue is a little bit weird. My AT&T Note 4 has a battery problem relating to charging. This issue is consistent. One day I charge my phone it charges to 100% without any issue. The battery life is good for 2-3 years old battery 2-4 hours on screen time depending on usage. But the very next day when I try to charge my phone the battery percentage won't go beyond 85%-89% and I have to do a battery pull and it immediately shows 99%-100% and I can disconnect my charger.
I am not complaining about or worried about battery life I know it sucks but I want to know a solution so I don't have to battery pull every other day just to reach 100%.
Please excuse my English, it is not my native language.
Not a weird issue, your battery is going bad. Get a quality replacement.
So this is happening to me too.. I just got this phone over the holidays from ebay. Used/mint condition, no OLED burn or anything.. perfect condtion..except for the battery.. won't charge past 82% I've ordered a new one. But still looking to make sure since I've read a lot on the Internet about LL and MM causing battery drain problems...so..
So these battery stats indicative of an old battery?
So I've noticed some weird battery behavior on my Pixel 2 XL and was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
I normally like to ;et the battery drain down into 5% or so before plugging it in and letting it charge through to 100%. I started noticing that a full charge would take me nearly 2 hours fully charge. A couple of times last week, I had to step out and the phone was charged approximately 95%. I unplugged the charger and walked to my car (about 5-6 minutes to get to the car) and when I looked at my phone, charge had dropped to 88%. Over the next few days I noticed this kind of excessive drain immediately after unplugging the charger. Aside from this, I still achieve 24+ hrs of battery life on a single charge so I am not sure that it is a HUGE issue, but one I felt shouldn't be happening nonetheless. Last night the same happened - unplugged around 95% and i literally saw the battery indicator go to 93%, 91%, 88% and then stop at 87% in about a minute. I immediately called Google support, shared my screen, and after speaking with the person on the phone - i was told I should definitely RMA, which i did..so I have a replacement coming.
I don't use always on display or always listening and I am extremely good at clearing open apps before I put the screen to sleep. I have noticed this at home, on my wifi as i always need a charge later in the day when I'm home from work. Also, I use the OEM charging wire and brick.
Anyone else notice this ?
I have not noticed battery drain fast after unplugging at full charge level. I would say you probably should RMA the device. Also it is not good to let lithium-ion batteries go down to low levels a lot like that, it will degrade the battery faster. The less you let the battery go down to low levels, the more charge cycles you will have, which means long battery life over time.

I definitely did RMA, it was a painless process.
And I always thought that maximizing the charge of the phone (letting it get low, then charging up) would actually keep the battery healthier as it would reduce the # of times I charged it. Am i way off base with my logic for that?!
Going into my third week with my 2 XL and I haven't seen anything abnormal regarding battery drain.
I do practice the method of unplugging at 85% and plugging back in around 15% (per Accubattery's reco, and other reading done online)....
There's no proof that it helps as suggested, and while I realize that only allows me access to 70% of the battery's charge potential, I'm rarely, if ever, away from a plug for more than half a day.
This theory worked well in my 6P until it got the intermittent BLOD... My battery health was around 84% (via Accubattery) after 17 months of pretty heavy use.
Again, not sure it is solid fact or not, but you could always try it for a month and see if there is any noticeable difference in battery drain.
Thank you for that insight! I will absolutely do some research. You're battery health after 17 months is really impressive. I just switched from a Nexus 6p that was definitely showing signs of wear after 2 years of fairly standard use. I hadn't used accubattery, but I will download it on my new replacement and monitor results.
I will say though, that aside from that slight blip i noticed - the battery (andOS optimization i'm assuming) is amazing. I get through a day plus easily. So, anything I can do to keep that consistent or squeeze more time out of it is a no brainer.

Lithium-ion batteries work on charge cycles and are happier between 50-85% charge levels. You cannot really "overcharge" the battery because the phone will stop charging at 100% and just trickle charge to keep the battery at this level. But unplugging it after full charge defiantly wont hurt. If you keep the battery at higher levels I would't be surprised that you would get 1500+ charge cycl.es out of the phone before any real degradation which should easily get you years of good battery life. I find the battery life on the XL to be awesome and it lasts me throughout the day with still 40% battery life left and that is with pretty heavy usage.
I have had the razer phone since Christmas day, the battery life has been amazing up until these past couple of days. I charge the phone to 100% I then take it off charge and i check the game booster and it says 2h 36mins remaining even though I have no apps open and it is on power save mode? I never over charge the phone so i am not sure on what the cause to the problem is. if anyone has the answer or is experiencing the same issue please answer this please
I would also like some insight on this, as I am experiencing the exact issue.
Up until a few days ago, I've had incredible battery performance. I've had the phone about a year and have had 0 issues.
Now all of a sudden the phone wont last half a day. It's draining even while plugged into a "non-fast charger" Of course a fast charger will charge it, but it only lasts a few hours before going dead.
I've factory reset the phone and still the issue exists. Any help would be appreciated.
