Greetings boys and girls
I m having a weird problem on my galaxy 10.1 (2014) aka p600, android 4.3.
Basically while streaming through ES File explorer movies from a hard drive in SMB my video player crash every 10-20min. Doesn t matter what media player I use. Interestingly enough my galaxy note 2 does not crash using the same protocol nor does my wii.
So it s pretty safe to say the problems lies with my note 10.1.
I m thinking somehow either the wifi or smb protocol/kernel is not perfectly engineered.
Has anyone experienced any similar issues and or found some fix?
Thanks you very much for your input
So I've been trying to stream the Sunday Ticket app the last couple weeks and for what ever reason the video is anything but smooth. I have a strong wifi signal, I've tried both wireless 802.11b and n with my Asus rt-n66, even being in the same room with it and no luck. Yet my S4 and note 8.0 have smooth video on the S.T. app. I can stream netflix, HBO Go no issues. Anyone else try the ST app? If you have it can you please test?
Thanks,
Mark
So it seems the Tab S is not the only tablet with these issues. I was reading reviews of the app on Google play and there are several other tablets having similar issues. Nexus 10, tab 4,etc
Hi
My Note 3 Neo (N7502 / Android 4.3) is not streaming media to my samsung smart tv. The tv does not appear in the list of nearby devices after turning on the file sharing.
Both, Note 3 Neo and TV are logged in to Samsung account.
It is probably not a hardware fault as my wife's Note 3 Neo, (N7502 / Android 4.3), bought at the same time, is also having the same problem.
It is definitely not the tv/network problem as my kids' phones (S4 Mini & S3 Mini) are connecting to tv and streaming media easily.
Is there any particular setting in the Neo that I'm not aware of? Any other suggestion?
Hi
Lately I've been trying to game a tad via my note 10.1 (2014) wifi edition and a moga hero controller connected to hdmi . I've then noticed a decent amount of lag when it comes to controller input. And things "feel" more sluggish.
Everything returns to normal when I disconnect the hdmi.....
Noticed in
Modern Combat 4 and 5
NFS most wanted
Anyone experienced similar issues?
Faulty hdmi adapter? ( I'm using a multi connection adapter bought via dx.com , it was recommended by several users both here and note 3 forums). Though, the adapter works fine in all other instances ( netflix and such)
Running stock, non rooted
Help!
cheers
Anyone Have any ideas? Suggestions? Similar experiences?

Maybe theres to much running in backround? I use a moga pro connected with bluetooth and it works fine. Do you have a custom rom or kernal? How did you get nova 3 to work? It wont work on my tablet.
And you're connected to a TV via hdmi?
SRY nova 3 was an oversight on my part, I ment GTA 3 ( can't get nova to work)
When it comes to processes etc, it was a fresh boot , no apps running

no I dont use the hdmi, sorry I misread.
Anyone else?
I have the pro 10.1 SM-T520 stock everything never messed with it at all.
Any way I try and stream videos I have problems. At the very least it will be laggy, the audio will play and the video will freeze, and my entire tablet will become unresponsive. Even worse, it will sometimes turn off my WiFi, and then turn it back on, no matter which wifi I'm connected to. It doesn't matter if I'm on YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, or in my browser, I can't stream any video properly.
Is this a common issue? Are there any fixes for this?
TIA

Could be your router or your provider causing the problem. Have you tried a different wifi, like a friends house, to see if it happens elsewhere? Maybe try a different router. Right now I have 12 devices connected to my home network, 7 of them are wireless. My son is currently watching Youtube, my other son is playing multiplayer game on my PS3, my wife is playing WOW with a sports channel playing on her Tab Pro 10.1 and I'm watching past episodes of Live Free or Die on my Tab Pro 10.1. Each episode is playing perfect. If my wife has issues with lag I hear about it within 5 seconds of it starting. LOL The rest of the devices are cell phones and a Chromecast (2nd Gen).
Our home setup is 200Mbps download/15Mbps upload. Have cable company supplied modem and 3 routers, Netgear R6250 AC1600 in the front of the house, an R6250 in the back of the house and a wirelessly connected WNR3500L v2 N300 for the Roku and Playstation 3.
Forgot to mention that my wifes Tab Pro 10.1 is unrooted. My tablet is rooted running Android KitKat 4.4.2. All 3 routers are using the latest DD-WRT Kong Mod instead of Netgear firmware.
I just noticed in your first post that WiFi shuts off. Do you have a WiFi manager running on your tablet? Rather than rely on the stock WiFi manager that disconnected occasionally I downloaded and use WiFi Manager written by Kostya Vasilyev located in the play store. I installed it on both tablet and phone along with my wife's tablet and phone. It keeps the connection alive, or at least tries to.
I hope I was able to help even a little bit. Good luck to you. PEACE

I've had this problem on many different wifis, and in all of them I've never had a problem with my phone or computer. So I don't see how the issue would be with the router
