How can i get straight to QS Panel? - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm wanting to be able to swipe down on my notification bar and it go straight to quick settings panel if I do not have any notifications. I know there's a mod for this in gravity box but gravity box doesn't work. I've looked through sense 6 toolbox over and over too. any other mods out there?? I'm running stock rooted/s-off with xposed.. wanna stay that way for now.

Notification mod in xposed allows you to pull down on the right side for toggles and the rest is notifications.

Quick Settings / Quick Toggles

Hi all
Is there a quick toggle mod for the notification drop down menu like found on stock TouchWiz and Sense devices? Not looking for widgets on the "desktop"
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
You can try Widgetsoid in the Market. It will allow you to place themed toggles in the notification area without a widget. Just make sure you select "hide widgets".
That could work, however, I was looking more for a hard mod that could be flashed in there, like in past devices that I've used that didn't feature this by default (back in the Sense 2.1 days).
Like this? Its available on this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1383210

I haven't seen a separate mod. You can always ask the rom developer to make a flashable zip for you.

Yes, as long as the major toggles are all there (wifi, bt, gps, etc...) that is exactly it. Of course, on Touch Wiz, it's just one horizontal line of toggles (like the widget on the Nexus), and that is the cleanest. On sense 3.0, it's a vertical list of toggles.

It only has the 3 toggles at the moment.

I'm using widgetzoid but I would love the toggle bar from SGS2 ported to the gn.

I tried turning on the notification toggle in widgetsoid, it doesn't even show up for me.
Also, seeing how the music player can have different buttons in the same row, I don't see why it can't be possible for other apps to use this functionality too.
Edit: Widgetsoid works perfectly, almost exactly the same as the CM toggle bar (sans the side scrolling)
Someone should be able to make a new app for ics,
you can add buttons in the dropdown now so it should be possible with out a custom rom or even root
Is this what you are looking for?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1037817
"With this app, you can place different toggles into your Android status/notification bar for quick access without having a dozen toggle-widgets on your homescreens
You can choose which toggles to display in the settings of the app. You can also choose to combine different toggles into one "all in one" notification.
Unfortunately, on most devices you can only define one action per notification, so on these it will show a small dialog with the available toggles when clicking on the "all in one" notification. But some devices (seems like all devices with HTC Sense ROM) can distinguish where in the notification you clicked and on these you don't have to see the dialog.
The app is for free in the Android market, would be nice to get some feedback"

Lock screen shortcuts on AT&T Official JB

Is there a way to edit the shortcuts on my lock screen to make them spread out more? They seem to be bunched up in the middle a little bit. Maybe its for one hand use?....but I think it makes me have to aim more closely when I am quickly trying to access my music player...or camera.

I'm on the official tmo jb, but it should be the same. It bunches up the icons on the lockscreen if you have less than 5. Go into the lockscreen settings and add another shortcut.

That did it. Thanks. Shortcuts are nice and spread out evenly.

I can't remember, but on ICS couldn't you only have 4 lockscreen targets? I didn't realize I could now put 5 on there, so thanks for the heads up. :good:

Signal widget

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good signal widget. It needs to be able to show LTE and wifi since I use pie and can't see my status bar
Thanks

Yeah pa's pie kinda blows. I tried it after using liquid's pie, did not like it at all. That fullscreen with no notification bar is no good at all. I still use liquidsmooth and have no issues and much more customization options with pie.

I haven't tried LS in a while. Probably not since January-ish on a GS3. What makes its pie different? I use PA because it is the only custom ROM I've run that performs as well as stock--but as I said, it's been a long time since trying LS.

OP, this doesn't answer your question, but this is one possible solution. Have you tried 0% nav bar Pie? That replaces the navigation bar with minimal Pie, but it leaves the status bar. You can then use an alternate launcher (I've been using Nova exclusively for well over a year) to hide the status bar. With this set up, your home screen will look as if it is in full screen mode, but you can still swipe the notifications bar down and see the status bar.
In PA setting/hybrid properties/interface change nav bar to 0% and you will have pie with status bar.
That works for now. Thanks. I would still prefer a widget though

What's funny about your statement is that Pie controls are based on the full screen mode in the aosp browser.. Paranoid Android is who originally merged that code and did all of the programming giving us Pie control. The other guys just took merged their code...

Signalcheck Pro has this. It's not free, though.

Good call. I didn't think about that.
OP, when you have full screen Pie activated, you can swipe toward the bottom of the screen outside of the Pie semi-circle to activate the quick tiles. If you place signal toggle in the quick tiles, you can view it that way.
Edit: This is dependent on your Pie being activated on the right side. When I activate Pie from the right side, swiping up brings up notifications and swiping down or left brings up quick tiles.

That is funny. However I can easily use ls pie and like the way it sits on the screen as well as the customization features. Whether it was taken from pa or not has no bearing on the ui ls implemented on its ROM. But to each his own.

Change/reorder/add quick setting tiles

Is there a way to change, reorder and/or add (such as reboot, screen off etc) quick tiles to the stock rooted T-Mobile touch wiz rom? I tried xposed with wanam but there is no setting. I know that gravitybox on aosp roms can do that but is there any option on touchwiz?

Yes you can do that, the way to do it is you click either one of the two little icons
on the top right side of the screen, one of them allows you to reorder toggles, and
the other one allows you to actually enable/disable any of the toggles.
There is no need to use gravity, wanam or anything else.
Good luck!
Thanks. That worked. I don't know why I thought that you needed a program/root for such a basic thing...

Smart pull down of notification panel?

Hi.
Any way to enable smart pull down of the notification panel? I mean, if I pull down notification panel from one side it will pull down directly to the toggles, the other side for notifications?
Or maybe use swipe left or right when it's pulled down to switch between toggles /notification?
Any xposed module to do so?

ViperOne has this feature inbuilt, independent from that you could Sense Toolbox as Xposed Module. Dunno if Toolbox uses this feature also...
Notification mod on xposed will do this for you!

if using stock rom! one finger swipe for notifications. two fingers swipe for toggles
Thanks. "notification mod" did the trick for me. @mushages, I'm using stock, and two finger swipe does work, but it's not comfortable to do so.
But thanks
