Hi.
Any way to enable smart pull down of the notification panel? I mean, if I pull down notification panel from one side it will pull down directly to the toggles, the other side for notifications?
Or maybe use swipe left or right when it's pulled down to switch between toggles /notification?
Any xposed module to do so?

ViperOne has this feature inbuilt, independent from that you could Sense Toolbox as Xposed Module. Dunno if Toolbox uses this feature also...
Notification mod on xposed will do this for you!

if using stock rom! one finger swipe for notifications. two fingers swipe for toggles
Thanks. "notification mod" did the trick for me. @mushages, I'm using stock, and two finger swipe does work, but it's not comfortable to do so.
But thanks

I remember one of the first ROMs i flashed on my nexus was Code Name Android, and it had the option to hide the navigation bar on the lock screen only.
is this something that can easily be implemented into JB? i noticed it was taken off of ROMs because it interfered with incoming calls when the screen was on (wasn't able to answer call) just curious if it was ever fixed or if this is a simple mod that i could do myself with some layout tweaks or something.
anyone have a clue?
I use Widgetlocker - lock screen replacement app, and it has an option to hide the navigation bar. I highly recommend it, very customizable with tons of sliders/themes to choose from and is very light on using system resources and draining battery.

you sure about that? i know it has the option to hide the navigation bar buttons, but the black bar is still there.
i want the wallpaper to go from the notification bar all the way down to the bottom of the screen.

Oh okay. If that's the case then you'll need to go a different route. Widgetlocker just blacks it out.

Here is a screen cap of what it looks like.

Its not quite as bad on the device as it blends into the bottom of the phone but still not using the complete screen.

I'm trying to figure out how to remove that tiny green shortcut bar on the bottom of the screen, it seems to be part of the status/navigation bar. I can only turn it off by disabling the status bar, but I don't want to do that, just the green buttons on the bottom, is there a way???
Find somewhere in cm settings/ interface, I don't remember how I disable it

Thats what I'm trying, but if I disable the navigation bar, it also turns off the top status bar that shows all the icons like wifi, battery, signal etc.
It seems to be connected.

Do you remember which setting it was to disable the green buttons on the bottom?

thanks, I finally got rid of it, under tablet tweaks, not sure if it was the "bottom status bar" or the "Navigation bar on bottom" but I disabled both. Now I'm a happy camper.
How do you type nicely in an eeny weeny screen?

I just rooted my Nexus 4 and I am looking for a power control widget to place at the top of my pull down notification menu so that I can access various toggles quickly and easily. I have found a few apps on the Play Store such as "Power Toggles" and "Notification Toggles". The problem with these apps (and I know I'm being very picky) is their notification icon always shows on the notification panel. You can make it transparent but then there is just an empty space there.
Does anyone know of a similar app that would work on a rooted device and give me the toggles without the notification icon always being present? Any support would be greatly appreciated, as I am new to the world or rooting. Thanks!
Flash a ROM with the feature. And this really goes in Q&A not Themes & Apps

With power controls theres a setting near the one that makes it transparant. Its called something like pin or something like that.
Its just above or below te transparant setting.
Good luck and cheers

I do see the option to mane the notification position "Not pinned & no icon" but the problem with that is it moved the power widget down from the top. I want to keep it most important and keep it at the top of my notification list. I was hoping there may be a way to achieve this with a rooted phone without having to download a custom ROM.
It's so much easier with a custom rom. Also you can get a lot of other neat stuff.

You can use the xposed framework with gravity box module. With this you can add other tiles to quick settings. Sorry for my bad english.

Modifying setting.apk is possible. I believe that is what the author wants. It would be perfect for a change 50% transparency.
Let share which modules r working.... Does any one tried?

Some parts of Gravity Box does work. The "slide status bar to control brightness" thing works. So you'll need to do some trial and error to see which parts.

Interesting. Hadn't tried that part I'll see what else works when I get a chance.

play store fix that lets you view all apps as compatible works. However, when I try to download them it throws an error like "selected file could not be located."
So actually a fair bit in gravity box works. Most status bar tweaks work, with the exception of clock mods and that text in the top left corner. The battery mods get a bit sketchy in landscape as well. No notification drawer mods seem to work. Pie controls are a go (which is really cool). None of the nav bar mods seem to work, at least none I've tried so far. Same goes for transparency settings. Power tweaks don't seem to do much. In display tweaks expanded desktop mode doesn't appear to work, but changing the screen animations and unplug turns on screen work. Finally, under miscellaneous, the clear all recent tasks and recent tasks ram bar are both functioning. Hope this helps!
I'm wanting to be able to swipe down on my notification bar and it go straight to quick settings panel if I do not have any notifications. I know there's a mod for this in gravity box but gravity box doesn't work. I've looked through sense 6 toolbox over and over too. any other mods out there?? I'm running stock rooted/s-off with xposed.. wanna stay that way for now.

Notification mod in xposed allows you to pull down on the right side for toggles and the rest is notifications.
