I'm trying to figure out why it's greyed out....
DS
I've never been able to edit that line.
There was one ROM I was able to do it on. Unfortunately don't remember which one.
Also on my ROM the option to enable APN is greyed out. I have seen that available on ROMS.
Maybe I'm thinking CM or AOSP ROMs had those options.
EDIT:
I knew I wasn't losing my mind..... Yet.
Just flashed SlimKat 4.4. Option is available on that. I just have to remember where that info comes from.

I am using a WanamLite, a MF4 rom using faux kernel and I am unable to get my LTE to work. Do I need to install a different modem? If so, which one should I use? Thanks.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Kinda obvious I know, but did you try creating the fast.t-mobile.com apn?:good:
Do you have LTE in your area yet?
The above post is correct, have you put your tmo apn settings in correctly, that rom requires you to manually add them.

I do have lte in my area. Here are some pictures of the Access Points Names. Please let me know if they are correct and you do not see anything wrong. Thank you!
Wanam doesn't include a modem, so you have the same one from before. Go to about device and see ur baseband ver to make sure. Is it because ur icon doesn't show LTE anymore? Wanam changes it.
How to change ur icon.

Try running a speed test too... I think some ROMs just have 4g as a default label for what the carriers call 4g LTE?
Does anyone here have working MMS on a 4.3 ROM on N7105 (t0lte)?
I have been through a few versions of PA3.9x and no mms send or receive. I know most people have reverted to 4.2 to solve this, but if anyone came across it and managed to get it working under 4.3, could you let me know which rom and how you fixed it?
APN settings are definitely right (according to Optus website and every other source I can find)
Never had any issue on AOSP 4.3 ROMs with my last N7100.
Check your APNs first.

Yeah, I checked my APN settings many times. I can't figure out how to troubleshoot it.

Someone on g+ managed to fix it by sending an image mms using Go SMS Pro, and then after that stock worked apparently.
It didn't work for me. The message gets stuck sending forever, and Go SMS consumes my battery rather than the stock mms process.
I also tried the AOKP mms.apk but that didn't make a difference either.
Yell-o,
So every rom I install besides Stock 4.1.2 on D710 GB28, I cant send/receive pic messages! I got the APN Backup app...modified the files..moved to system...etc and nothing. I have to resort to using Chomp SMS and editing the APN settings. I hate CHOMP. Ive read once flashed, re-flash something then update apn settings.....save and install new apn settings to new rom. Im not 100% sure. I really like 4.3. Help plz. Thanks

this is the development section. Questions go in Q&A. BTW, we need more info like what roms you have tried mms is an issue on many AOSP roms, but there are fixes available and data in general on 4.3 is hit and miss. Ask this in Q&A with more specifics and I'm sure someone will help you.

Do you know how to edit the APNs manually. I believe there is a thread in the android development section about vm APNs
Do you have you're msl number...?
If you don't I can tell you a different way to change them.... but you need to look around. I know there are threads for vm APN fixes here.
Happy Turkey Day...

Since you have you're msl... you should be able to fix you're APNs easily on any tw based rom using a dialer code ##data#
On cm/aosp/aokp based roms it's a bit more involved.. but very doable.
Let me look around for a vm APN thread for ya...
Can you tell me the steps you have tried... in order of doing them also. Thanks.

If I no longer have AT&T as my carrier do I still need to download AT&T specific ROMS
I'm now on Cricket but I'm looking to flash a different ROM. Can I now flash any non specific carrier ROM or do I still need to use/flash the AT&T ones only?

I don't know. But my Note 2 was AT&T now on Cricket. But I stick with AT&T roms since Cricket is really Aio. I just change the APN.
I'm fairly sure I gotta stick with AT&T roms but I'd like to be sure.
EDIT: What did you change the APN settings to?

Here you go.
My settings are the same except for APN type. All I can choose when I click on it is "Internet + MMS", "Internet", or "MMS". How can I change that?
Also what ROM are you using? I'm stuck between Cyanogenmod 11, Ditto Note 3 and EZKat 2.0.

I am using DN3 and to change APN I deleted the AT&T APN and added the Cricket APN. That's the only way I got exact like that.
Hi all,
I have been trying off and on the past few weeks to get on a lp rom and every time I flash one I end up with zero 4g signal. I have tried flashing the modem, and I was told look in VPN settings but I don't really understand what's going on in there. I feel like it doesn't apply to me though. If it does can I get some help on what I need to do to set that up? Or is there any other explanation on why I don't have Internet?
Thanks to everyone who's o read this.
Try changing your APN protocol to IPv6 in Mobile/APN settings.
