Try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124 and let me know if you run into any problems.
PS1 : Try to give the full details of your phone ( like ROM you are using and stuff ). May be it helps to guide you in a perfect direction.
PS2 : Googling the issue may save your and our time :silly:

Something that worked for me was removing apps I didnt use with Link2Sd, and merging updated system apps into system. Then moved everything else to SD and. Hope it helps!

Storage full using int2ext+, Stock ROM with cool features and only 370MB used
I'm using Crossfire77's great Stock ROM with Cool Features, plus Int2Ext+ and EXT3 partition. I've limited my applications to a total of 370MB out of a 970MB partition, and I'm still running into storage problems. If I try to click on a browser link, for example, the browser won't open with a "Storage full" error message. I note that background apps like AVAST will also force close at times.
Any ideas regarding the problem and solution?
Thanks.

INT2EXT+ keeps data/data in the internal storage rather than in the EXT partition, this results in faster performance. This folder contains data of your installed apps. The "Storage full" error comes because of increased data files either due to a big app or a installing a lot of apps. So 350MB is actually the max you should fill in this script
If you want to make full use of the EXT partition, use INT2EXT scripts(without the +), but you will have to sacrifice a bit of speed for storage

Solved. I have partitioned my sdcard using cwm recovery(512 mb out of 3966mb allocated to ext partition) and then installing int2ext4+. Works fine.

Internal memory
So that means that there is only ~70MB of internal memory available after what the ROM itself uses? Wow, that is lower than I'd expected, even after having removed as much of the HTC bloatware as possible. Perhaps to set expectation appropriately for the WFS, when describing the INT2EXT+ script, instead of saying that 100MB of internal memory is needed for every 500MB of total memory, it would be better to say that 50MB of internal memory is needed for every 250MB if total memory! Thanks.

Hello there,
did you reboot the phone? Did you link only apk or also dex and lib files of the applications?
How many apps are installed? You can view apps that are on the SD card but not on the ext partition. maybe they didnt get linked?
yes i did reboot the Mobile..and i have linked the dex and lib files too
there are 46-49 apps installed
yes it says ---> Linked
when im on sense, im using DT a2sd (ext4)
when im on CM base, im using S2E (ext4). I got more than 100mb free space after more than 50 apps installed.
so should i delete the old ext2 partition and make a ext4 one?
Use flashable data2sd script...it worked for me

It doesn't really matter.
I would suggest factory reset, then installing Link2SD.Open it, and tick "Auto link".Then install all apps you need, and you're fine.
By the way, that internal storage information from phone is not correct.
For example, I have 50 apps installed with 30mb free internal storage. Then I delete one app (2mb), and the phone shows 50mb free. So, it's not correct.Don't know why, but that's the way Link2SD works.I got used to it.
Anyway, if you have Class 6 or up sdcard, then I'd suggest using data2sd, otherwise, stick with Link2SD.

how can you tell what class sd card your using plz ?
I would also recommend S2E, like asdot said earlier.
It is in my opinion the easiest and best solution when you are using CM (7 or 9, both work).
Just install it from the market.
And it is true, if you have a slow SD card I would not use data2sd. The app S2E gives you the option to move apps only, not their data. I use that option and have a very fast phone with basically endless memory

Use antutu to test sdcard read/write speed.
Compare with this(write speed is what's important)

Limit for data2sd and link2sd

Hi all
This is a somewhat strange thing that I noticed. I want get opinion and solution from all whether its my own problem or not.
I used both link2sd and data2sd (both 2gb ext2 with 512 mb swap) but I can't get a storage of over 418 MB in both cases. And no more apps can be installed!!!!
What shall I do to rectify this?
Thanks in advance ...

I guess you are saying beyond that your internal memory gets full?
Here's what you can try.
>Install titanium backup, in options select integrate davlik cache into rom.
>Wipe the cache. (Noob but i know pshh..)
>Uninstall the stupid crap system apps.
>if you still are running low on storage, use this command, but it may create some problem for you when u are installin new apps like they will force close. You will have to reboot device to run them at first try.
"su" press enter. allow the superuser request.
"cache sd" enter. it will reboot. may take some 6-7 minutes to boot.
Sorry for off topic but can anyone share data2sd. With me I tried downloading from a thread but it was corrupt and I can't find it anywhere else.

Link2SD - Internal Memory still full

Hey guys,
I'm using Android 2.3.5 with Sense 2.1 (stock rom) and added Link2SD to my rooted phone some time ago. At first I was glad I had about 50mb of internal storage left after I moved all (!!!) linked every app to my SD-card. I don't know how, but the internal storage shrinked more and more and now I'm left with 10mb of free storage and that annoying message, that I'm running out of memory. I tried some cache cleaning apps but I just don't know what's eating up all of my memory!
Any ideas?
greetings
Link2sd leaves stuff in internal memory. My little wfs became a wonderful phone after I s-offed and rooted it, but then installed some custom roms, and some of which had A2SD built in. I installed all my apps and still had 75mb of free memory.
I am currently running CM9, and I used a custom script to move my apps and cache to my SD card. I have 123 MB of memory now. It's terrible

After failing to get simple2ext to work, and having Link2SD eat my SD card mutliple times, I was just about ready to give up on CM9 when I found this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668247
Since then, my CM9 Alpha 7 install ahs been working very well. I could not be more pleased.
BTW: If you do run those scripts on an existing ROM (without Link2SD, Data2SD, or simple2ext, just do steps 1 and 2)

I don't know much about Link2SD, as i could never get it to work, but... I'm thinking if you move everything back to internal memory, and uninstall the startup scripts that mount the SD card, you should be able to run the scripts I used. I would make a full backup of my ROM before trying anything like that though. Ya never know...
You can try the following.
1. Go to link2sd. Clear cache, relink lib files and multi select anf link all.
2. Get titanium backup and integrate davlik cache into rom.
3. Enable auto link in link2sd.
4. Reboot.
Im using link2sd wid a lot of apps and have internal storage 60+ mb all the time.
Also uninstall any crap system apps you dont use because they'll just fill the internal memory.

This was irritating so i switched back to my Stock rom by CWM using Backup & restore. Now im glad to be back on my stock rom without all other problems but the problems of LOW INTERNAL MEMORY.
Is there really any way that i can properly install Link2Sd and make space free and have hell lot of apps just as i had when i was on CM10 ???

First flash eoghan's kernel on stock ROM which enables using of different scripts and link2SD..then partition SD card and flash the script or use link2SD as always..
And make sure you have a backup..
P S Instead of flashing the above you can also install crossfire's stock ROM or other stock based ROMs which have init.d support I.E you can partition SD card and install scripts and other stuff... Your options are Kimsmod ultimate, Wildchild or crossfire's stock ROM.

You terrible WRONG!!! Link2SD do the job correctly, learn it! and Internal Storage remains unused-free! When link an app, in Storage Info looks Internal Storage raised but when you make Quick Reboot Internal Stoage seems like a nothing get in there! |So! I search for days to finaly suffix the best to free Internal Storage without any mod file|
I make Factory data reset and device come back with ~30mb Internal Storage, i partition sd card and install Link2SD, mount 2nd partition. Install any app, Create link Quick Reboot and go on!!
Best Regards
XDA DEVELOPERS
There is something better than Link2sd
Something better is called [INT2EXT] and it has requirements:
1.Init.d Supported in ROM
2.SD Card Partition
how to install:
1.Wipe everything and
2. Re-partition SD Card
3. Re-flash ROM
4. Install the zip using CWM
to download the scripts (INT2EXT) please head here

You can create some partition with your current cwm recovery, dude..
Or you can read the details about creating partition on your sdcard here :good:
One of the major the benefit from crating partition on your sdcard is you can run android apps on your sdcard without losing access to them when you mount it.

The best way to partitioning an sdcard is always use gparted.
You can have all the guide here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932824
But the question here what's the point to partition sdcard for one v ? one v has more than enough internal memory space. If it is not enough, I would have created a ROM with sd-ext as one of the prerequisite

That's because of RAM limitation in One V, not space problem.
sd-ext is more on expanding space, swap partition is only used when a kernel with swap capability is flashed to device.

Not possible to increase RAM.
It is not like a PC where we can easily increase RAM by put in more RAM as long as we have slot for it.
So there's nothing I can do? :{

Yea once I rooted it 383 is way more than I need

[Q] how to turn SD into into internal memory?

OK so I looked at a similar thread to this but I don't think I understood nor do I believe its right Ford what I want to do.I was wanting to put stock ICS on my phone but to do so will leave me with (roughly) 20 megabytes of storage left. I have been told there is a way of tricking the OS into believing the SD is internal storage I have looked on the internet and here as well and found nothing therefore I was wondering if you guys could help me out in accomplishing this. any feedback is both welcome and appreciated thanks
flash the rom, flash gapps, and on the first boot go to play store and install mounts2sd, configure it to reverse mount and select apps, data and dalvik. voila

Yes this can be done quite easily using a script called a2sd or another like it.
First you need to create a ext4 partition on your sd card. It's highly recommended to use gparted(look around for guides)
Then flash a rom that has a2sd support. If you want ics/jb, I'd recommend the rom in my signature...it's great and works well with a2sd
Once in the rom, open terminal emulator and type
su
a2sd install
y
n
y
From then on all apps that you install will be moved to your sd-ext partition.
Thanks.

hey everyone,
i have a similar problem. i partitioned my sdcard into fat32 and ext4 for apps. i'm using "VJ CM10.1 | Jelly Bean 4.2.2 - v5.1" and ran the script as described in the thread (and posted here by chromium96). if i now go to system, app management and try to move an application (i tried several) to sdcard then this option is greyed out. further he shows me under app management, usb storage that no app is installed on usb (correct) but the space used seems to be my fat32 partition (he shows me 1,8gb as used which is the used space on my fat32, my ext4 is blank). is this normal or am i doing sth wrong? any suggestions?

Apps move automatically to sd-ext. You don't need to move them manually.
Flash int2ext4V2 script.. And u can use ur full ext..

its a bit confusing because if i open app desciption i can see that "usb-storage-app" and "usb-storage-data" both have 0 Byte (i assumed that this is the information for the data used by the app on the sdcard).
