[Q] Custom RSS feed in blinkfeed 6? - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
Has anyone managed to import custom RSS feeds in blinkfeed? I either get FC (trying to add it with the stock browser), or no option to open it in Blinkfeed at all (through other browsers). I believe its a known bug from what I read, have you found a way around it perhaps?
Thanks

[APP] See contact's latest status on twitter, facebook and more?

Hi!
I've been googling my ass off searching for an app for android that can display my contact's recent statuses.
What I'm looking for is something that supports me placing a contact as a widget on a homescreen and then either automagically or by touching the contact I can see his or her latest status wether it be from Facebook, twitter or something else.
Has anyone seen this anywhere? Does it exist?

[Q] "Adding Bookmarks to Homescreen"-Functionality broken in Kitkat / Cyanogenmod 11?

[Q] "Adding Bookmarks to Homescreen"-Functionality broken in Kitkat / Cyanogenmod 11?
Since upgrading to Kitkat / Cyanogenmod 11 my only issue is that I can't seem to add Bookmarks to the Homescreen(s) anymore, not matter which Browser I use for that function (I have tried Chrome Beta, Firefox, Chrome and Dolphin). After choosing the "Add to Homescreen..."-Option in Chrome Beta for example, the Browser minimizes, revealing the Homescreen, but the selected Page will not appear as an icon.
Does anybody know of a workaround / solution?
(Otherwise Kitkat has been great to me, no problems so far and great performance... (ART!))
add widget & then select the bookmark
Had the same issue & spent like 20 mins trying to figure it out. Go to widgets --> gold star bookmark icon & then you get to select the bookmark to match it with.
I have the same issue with my galaxy s3. Where can I find that gold star bookmark icon?
Oké I found it. It's a just a workaround. I placed tribuchet back on my phone. That works better.

[Q] Any luck adding RSS to Blinkfeed on Verizon HTC M8?

Has anyone had any luck on a consistent basis of adding custom RSS feeds to their BlinkFeed using the Verizon M8?
I haven't had that much luck and would like to add additional feeds.
I was able to get it to bring up the menu in Chrome to select BlinkFeed for a few feeds... But in most cases the Chrome browser just takes me to the RAW Rss feed instead of it bring up a menu to select BlinkFeed from.
The stock browser isn't an option on the Verizon model... only Chrome... I have tried FireFox and Opera, but have the same issue.

Bookmark Widget Not Working

I'm trying to use the bookmark widget. I place the widget on a screen and get the Choose a Bookmark box but the box is empty. I do have Bookmarks in Chrome. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.
A lot of people seem to be having the same problem, me included. I found a minor fix for it but it's still a bit annoying.
If you want to add a bookmark to the home screen then first find chrome in Google Play and uninstall the updates. Now you should be able to add bookmarks to your home screen, when you have added all the bookmarks you want you can reinstall the latest chrome updates. Being able to add bookmarks still doesn't work but you have the bookmarks you placed already.
Thanks. That workaround should be good enough.

Blinkfeed - adding feeds

Hi
Is there a way of adding other feeds on Blinkfeed apart from what HTC have given you, there doesn't seem to be a choice for Facebook, Instagram etc.
Thanks
