hello to all members,i am a new member of this site,which in my opinion is very usefull as it has helped me a lot,and i have a problem with my xperia m single c1905.the problem is that despite i rooted it in stock 4.3 with locked bootloader when i try to use app2sd or link2sd writes that my phone does not have an sd card or my sd is emulated.....is that a problem with the firmware?with 4.1.1 would it work?or its a problem of my phone?i really need help because as you know xperia m has only 2 gb internal memory which is very low for apps and games..... also is there a way to make sd card the default storage in xperia m 4.3?thank you a lot and sorry for my bad english!!!!!

In your situation the best thing to do is to download droidsail, search app2sd in the store and scroll down until you see a picture of a phone and an sd card, download and move apps

I have sony ericsson xperia arc s and as you know the internal memory is very limited,
i use Link2SD to solve this issue but my device start to stuck alot and become very slow !!!
are there any ROM that solve the internel memory issue and also improve the performance of my mobile?

Using a ics stock/ custom Rom can solve your problem.
There is a method which can increase internal memory i.e BY PARTIONING THE SD- CARD and then using a script to add the sd memory to internal memory.
Regarding suggesting a ics Rom I would go with either UHD 3.0.2 (Or) Xperia T Rom 7.1.4
You can find them In ANDROID DEVELOPMENT SECTION.

Here on XDA, I have found another way to swap memory. But currently i'm on my stock single sim rom, so can't test this for dual sim. Can anyone on dual sim test this and let us know whether it's working for Xperia M Dual?

it's not swap script, it's mount2sd script just like what link2sd or s2e did. you need ext3 partition. i've asked some friend from ace 2 ( my current devices) since we also had this problem when upgrading from cm10.1 to cm1.2 . hope they reply soon.

The ability to move your app to sd card was removed after JB by Google not by devs. AFAIK Google wants to prevent apps from being able to write on your SD card and removing the option to move app to sd was a step in that direction.
If you google "kitkat sd card" you'll see several posts and discussions about the same and several temporary fixes people came up with.
This feature would have to be added in the base CM before it gets implemented into other AOSP ROMs, and CM team is already aware of this issue and you can check their website for the progress till then people are using apps like Folder Mount and GL2SD to move chunks of their app data to SD card.

Swaping internal memory to a second partition sd card

I've been reading this thread and would like to try it out on my sony xperia m c1905, running cm 11 4.4.4 (rooted)
I recently made a second partition on my sd card (ext2), and want to use it as my internal memory.
But i am not sure what commands to enter, as it may be slightly different than what is explained in the thread.
Also if there is any way to make these changes permanent (without having to reboot all the time) would be awesome.

Make sure you got Busybox installed. It is a bit unusual to get random reboots doing this stuff unless you are partially rooted. Try to re-root it with towelroot + the remountreboot fix somewhere in Xperia M General threads.

i want to swap my internal memory with external memory,but cant find the right method....please provide me the steps,im new to android devlopment and just rooted my phone....i also want to upgrade to cyanogen mod for better performance...please tell whuch one is better kitkat or lollipop and the steps to do it...thanks in advance
