Instructions:
1) need root and superusermod
2) install as normal apk
3) apply and reboot ..after reboot only the notification dropdown will be themed
if above not working
1. Install Xposed Framework[http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401]
2. Use the Xposed Installer app and install Serajr Xperia Xposed for jb or kk[as ur os version]
3. Enable the module and reboot.
3. In the installed Serajr app go to System -> Enable customisation -> Enable "Super User Mode". Reboot again.
4. Install theme
5. Go to Personalisation and apply theme and reboot

try decompile any theme which is released and see the difference between them and learn...this is how i m learning
PS : i will edit png,xml according to my wish and recompile them with my name..

Saying it is not working properly doesn't help anybody. Please give us a detailed description of everything what isn't working as expected, tell us what firmware you are on, tell us if you have SUPERUSERMOD installed or not. Using the aforementioned information we can help.

Sorry for that .....ya m on supermod droid 4.3 xperia m dual 2005 ...15.5.a.0.18.....and problem is that the genuine xperia themes works properly change in home screen menu buttons works great but on installing these type of selfmade themes only walpaper change is there......as u suggested i rebooted my
phone nothing happend ....no change in home icon as shown in d screenshots...plz guide now...what to do???

can u use xposed installer,and serajr xperia xposed module...and then activate system in that to ensure the superusermod....[not supersu root]

if yes ...then check whether u enable the module in xposed installer
if yes reboot
now apply theme..

anyway u created the thread so here
only for rooted
u need root
then http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697369 see here download and flash
after that goto system/vendor/overlay delete android-res.apk
then download and install xposed installer..install framework in it..reboot
now download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49466553 and tick it on xposed installer reboot..then open xperia xposed module then goto system and enable superusermod..[i dont know this will work on dual since i didnt use this method..]

If you are asking what method i used to fix xperia themes, this is what i did. There was a link floating around xda on how to fix xperia themes on 4.3 devices. I downloaded the zip on that thread, it was called runtimeskin.zip, and i flashed it using flash Gordon. I rebooted. And voila, xperia themes can be downloaded from the sony select without getting that annoying compatability issue

and u dont have volume bar error or changing to original theme after reboot?
Oh, sorry, i must have not explained fully. The process i did allowed me to use official xperia themes from the play store, and thats all i need. I tried the ones from the link, they dont work.

How did you flash it ? flash gordon told me it is not flashable so i unchecked the safe mode button and flashed / rebooted yet nothing changed on my rooted 4.3 c2005 xperia m dual ??? still I CANNOT DOWNLOAD any theme

I did using clean master and even from app info and no use
I tried to push themes inside system/app and it worked for some themes like spider man 2 but not triflat and I don't know why ??

Mine too wasn't working until after i cleared the cache as well as data of google play store and google play services. Try that

That's weird. For me, flash gordon had no errors. I'll look into it and report as soon as possible
UPDATE: if you restored your phone after flashing runtimeskin.zip. Flash it again. If not, go to this link, http://www.photo-cool.com/?p=38462 . Download anyone of the themes there and install it like a normal apk. Then apply it in the themes selector. Tell me if you get any errors

The screen shots that you have attached is from dual sim. So is yours deodexed or not.
If we are deodexing dont you think it may reduce the performance.???

ya i m using dual,..i m having deodexed version,...ya there will some decrease in performance..but i dont care..no lag in games,cool themes
only system apps will have slight decrease in performance..

In my case superuser mod is working but still I am not able to use the themes.its giving me not installed error. Mine in not bootloder unlocked to instead of flashing http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2697369 I moved its content to respective folders in system folder. Superuser mod is also working for me so I guess no need to dodex it.
So what is wrong in my case.???

Because I have 2 apks for a game(one is the default and other is edited by me).Previously while installing the second apk on top of the first one, it always give me an error saying "Cannot install app because another package with the same name with different signature is already installed" (some what like it).
So to install the second app (editeded one) I had to uninstall the default app and install it. But now even if the default app is installed, installing the edited app on top of it is working that means it is bypassing signature check that means superuser mod is working.
am I wrong???

extract on sd
Go to any root file explorer
copy all three files to
system(not in system/app)
give permission RW-R-R
now move all that files to system/app(Replace if asked)
reboot your phone
TADA its done
for best effect apply xperia live wallpaper

i dont know how to fix but after deodexing i found the problem was gone

There was a change to google play services, Android Lollipop ? 5.1.1. Before we used 438 and now becomes 238.

Many of you well atleast some knows me from the..
Xperia XZ or XZs forums and now i post a small mod
for you all XZP users called Font selector with several fonts like:
Sony sketch, fineliner, expletus sants, Rosemary and many more.
I figured out howto get this working on Oreo.
.. Requirements :..
Odexed/deodexed rom
Superuser mod (patched services.jar)
[it's a must to have superuser mod]
Twrp recovery
Xperia XZ Premium with Oreo
. Howto install: .
Turn off device
Boot into twrp recovery
Flash zip
Reboot

Hi Pandemic! I can not activate the "font selector" it does not appear, I'm with turbo P1454f rom , I go in menu, setting, display but it does not show anything ... help!

It must be there in settings/display kinda down below otherwise the services.jar is not correct patched, use then the services.jar from my RXS bro @Beetle84 his thread.

I use older twrp 3.1 and my bro @Beetle84 confirmed thay this is working fine so i dunno what you do wrong buddy and i test this also and works also and i do always several tests before release

Have you downloaded smali patcher and ran it on your pc? The services.jar I posted needs to be ran through smali patcher.

yes i do.. all the procedures are being followed. in fact, i have successfully flashed this camera app from XZ2
