Hi,
I'm running the latest nightly of CM11, not sure if it matters for this issue. While opening Chrome my Note II restarted itself. When the UI came up, half of my widgets and app shortcuts were broken, and I noticed that many of my apps were installed (Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, File Explorer, Angry Birds, Etc.) I'm not sure what happened or if it is malware, but I didn't see this issue posted anywhere else.
Has anyone else seen this problem? The last thing I want is for this to happen again.

Ok, so not quite murdered, but close! I just recently (a week or so ago) rooted my Incredible and went with CyanogenMod 6.1 (RC2) and I love it and downloaded all my apps and had everything set up just how I wanted it. Until a few days ago. Several apps, specifically:
Angry Birds (Seasons)
Thinkfree Office Lite
Pocket Legends
And Cestos 2
Just stopped working. In fact they wont even open, they all crash on startup with a message saying:
The application LauncherPro (process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. (Yes, LauncherPro is crashing too)
And then the same message comes up only with the angry birds process (or whatever application I'm trying to open.)
I've reinstalled all 4 of them twice, they all seem to be on my SD card, and each time it happens (and it ONLY happens to these 4 apps, every time) the icons for the apps don't show, just the default green android icon.
Thanks in advance
Sorry, I don't have a direct answer, but I have a very similar situation as of 1-20-11..
Wifes DInc did the same thing. Bone stock, not even rooted.. Battery was allowed to run all the way down until the phone shutdown automatically. She put it in on the charger, and then booted it 15 minutes later..
Getting multiple FCs on startup, Lookout and Task Killer are always FC, many shortcuts are missing, and many apps won'tlaunch becuase the are no longer there, or because the FC right from the get go.
Re-installing them seems to fix the issue..
I am a dummy on this phone.. I did a little reading on other forums and some have had this problem after switching batteries.
But feeling is that during a power failure the SD is prone to corruption.. I am assuming most market apps are stored on the SD..
So I installed a bunch of apps from the Android Market at £0.10 a piece, and since then, my phone has rebooted randomly. It doesn't occur very often, but the phone can reboot even when I'm not using it.
A list of apps I recently installed:
Beautiful Widgets
Asphalt 6 HD
Paper Camera
SoundHound
SwiftkeyX
Widgetsoid (free version, used to put toggles in the notification bar)
Does anyone who has these apps installed get the random reboots?
Hi guys.
So as title, I heard people said Facebook 104.xx version onward, doesnt work well with Kitkat.
Random crash, random feeds error, video freezing.
I tried both;
the latest one, the crash constantly happen, kicked out from feeds to menu, cant play whole video without freezing.
the v104, crashed maybe one time per day or two, can play video without freezing.
Its seem like from what I heard is true but why it is not mention on facebook's part or is it just happen to me?
I tried latest facebook on RR rom with no problem as such.
Thanks.
Actually, this is the text from XDA forum and I have exactly the same problem ..
Anybody has any idea?
This drives me crazy.
I've tried everything ,from reset , to factory reset, safe mode..etc.
It's not apps related because I have only few regular apps on my phone.
Any help will be very welcome...
Tnx

Here is the text..

So I've had this issue with both my S7 and S8 where whenever I click to open certain apps from my home screen, there's a noticeable delay between when I touch the icon to when the app actually opens.
This most notably happens on the Facebook, any and all internet browsers, the Play Store, and the Google app.
The thing that confuses me is that no one else seems to report this issue, nor have I experienced it on other brand phones.
Has any one else experienced this or have any ideas for a solution
Certain overly bloated software (like fakebook and web browsers) will take time to LOAD. This is not an "issue". Behaving normal as expected.
Of course it is... Google apps are not third party apps...
I have a very annoying issue that I thought was related to MIUI but now I experiencing the same thing on several treble roms.
I don't know if its an isolated issue to a recent update to Firefox, youtube and titanium backup or if there actually is a bug on Mi max 3.
Firefox
It forgets the setting that I disabled "Top Sites" tab many times.
It forgets that I set telemetry to all off.
Today a notification popped up saying that I am not connected to Firefox sync..why??
Titanium backup
I froze MIUI stock gallery time after time after time and it would defrost and become active again..I had enough and just removed the folder from /system/priv-app or wherever it was placed because I'm using Lineage OS gallery app.
Youtube
I finally got notifications working in MIUI for youtube but then all notifications played over and over and over again...I even clicked the notification to bring me to messages in the youtube app so that it would clear viewing the notification as marked or whatever but it kept coming again and again until I muted two specific youtube comments.
Does anyone else here has the Mi Max 3 and has these issues as well?
Can it be related to flashing this? https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/
