So I installed a bunch of apps from the Android Market at £0.10 a piece, and since then, my phone has rebooted randomly. It doesn't occur very often, but the phone can reboot even when I'm not using it.
A list of apps I recently installed:
Beautiful Widgets
Asphalt 6 HD
Paper Camera
SoundHound
SwiftkeyX
Widgetsoid (free version, used to put toggles in the notification bar)
Does anyone who has these apps installed get the random reboots?

Ok, so not quite murdered, but close! I just recently (a week or so ago) rooted my Incredible and went with CyanogenMod 6.1 (RC2) and I love it and downloaded all my apps and had everything set up just how I wanted it. Until a few days ago. Several apps, specifically:
Angry Birds (Seasons)
Thinkfree Office Lite
Pocket Legends
And Cestos 2
Just stopped working. In fact they wont even open, they all crash on startup with a message saying:
The application LauncherPro (process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. (Yes, LauncherPro is crashing too)
And then the same message comes up only with the angry birds process (or whatever application I'm trying to open.)
I've reinstalled all 4 of them twice, they all seem to be on my SD card, and each time it happens (and it ONLY happens to these 4 apps, every time) the icons for the apps don't show, just the default green android icon.
Thanks in advance
Sorry, I don't have a direct answer, but I have a very similar situation as of 1-20-11..
Wifes DInc did the same thing. Bone stock, not even rooted.. Battery was allowed to run all the way down until the phone shutdown automatically. She put it in on the charger, and then booted it 15 minutes later..
Getting multiple FCs on startup, Lookout and Task Killer are always FC, many shortcuts are missing, and many apps won'tlaunch becuase the are no longer there, or because the FC right from the get go.
Re-installing them seems to fix the issue..
I am a dummy on this phone.. I did a little reading on other forums and some have had this problem after switching batteries.
But feeling is that during a power failure the SD is prone to corruption.. I am assuming most market apps are stored on the SD..
my question is sort of two part: when I return to the launcher (Trebuchet) from an app, almost always I return to a screen with no icons and just the wallpaper. After a second or two, the icons reload and everything appears normal for that screen. Is this because I have too many apps running and Trebuchet is running out of ram?
second part to the question is that if an app is running, and it pretty much doesn't matter what app I'm running, and the screen times out and goes dark, almost always the app that was running stops running and I'm returned to the desktop when I push the wake button. This is a fairly recent issue - anyone have any ideas?
I'm running CM10.1.3-RC2-toro.
Hi,
I'm running the latest nightly of CM11, not sure if it matters for this issue. While opening Chrome my Note II restarted itself. When the UI came up, half of my widgets and app shortcuts were broken, and I noticed that many of my apps were installed (Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, File Explorer, Angry Birds, Etc.) I'm not sure what happened or if it is malware, but I didn't see this issue posted anywhere else.
Has anyone else seen this problem? The last thing I want is for this to happen again.
I've noticed a number of issues since I upgraded to Lollipop yesterday.
1. Memory usage seems to increase significantly, pre Lollipop I would have around 800 meg free after a restart, since upgrading to Lollipop that's now dropped to around 400 meg free.
2. Clock issues, the clock in the top right hand corner of the screen can freeze on lock and when unlocked is the same time prior to the lock and just sticks at that time until I enter the clock setting and tick and untick the 12\24 hour setting, I also get this issue with the clock on the notification drop down.
3. Random app crashes, with black screen and then the app closes no prompts or anything, this has happened with games and also Chrome and Mail, This only started happening since the update.
4. Language and Input settings menu crashes every time it opens.
Anyone else have these or similar issues and anyone have any ways of rectifying the issues?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

I usually have about a gig free. I still go by the "unused ram is wasted ram." I wish it used more. If it's needed android will free it up. Unless it's a leak.
My OP3 phone was stock before the OTA upgrade. After the upgrade the phone turns on and for a few seconds it looks like all is well...except for all my widgets are gone. Three seconds later, and every 3 seconds after that, the screen refreshes. The bottom row of apps will launch, but the application folder does not work. Pull downs and pull ups work. Fortunately I had OK Google turned on before. Now OK Google has become my launcher ("OK Google. Launch Sudoku," for example). I can also launch from the Google Play Store app. Once they are launched, the apps work fine, notifications come in as expected, phone calls work both ways, messaging works, everything works except the launcher.
I have downloaded the new Oxygen system to my Win 7, dragged it onto the phone, and reloaded the update through the stock recovery (twice). What can I do to get the launcher working?
I have loaded the Google Plus launcher the the Play Store and can use the phone normally. It's just not a OnePlus anymore. Can I get just the OnePlus launcher?
