[Q] HTC OneX - CID 044 - How to restore to stock rom - HTC One X

Hello,
I have tried to install custom rom, however I missed the step: copy the rom file to the sdcard. I go to Boot Loader ---> Recovery --> mount USB storage, then try to copy the rom file from PC to Phone, but I can't see any device's storage in the PC. I have tried using adb push but the command say "device not found".
So that i am finding solution to restore to my stock rom. If you have solutions, please help me.
My device info:
main version: 4.19.707.3
CID: HTC_044
HBOOT: 1.73.0000
RADIO-5.1204.167.31
Thank you.

[Q] MY HOX Accidentley Format System, Cache, Data, SD partitions and now Bricked!

Hey I have accidentley formatted System, Cache, Data, SD Partitions from CWM.
But when I tried to revert to stock recovery it says that I cant install it because my current image version (2.17.980.6) is higher than the version in RUU (1.29.980.11)
Gives Me Error140 Bootloader Version Error
I am wondering how the image version got updated because I did not update to Jellybean. It showed that there is the JB Update available to download but I didn't bother downloading. The only update I have installed to my phone is ICS 4.1 update came back last year.
At this stage I have access to Bootloader and CWM Recovery. I can lock unlock bootloader.
I have this RUU --> RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_Optus_AU_1.29.980.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260560_signed
And I managed to get this file from htcdev --> endeavoru-ics-crc-2.6.39-acfdfb2
And also I have managed to get boot.img, hboot_0.95.0000.img, rcdata.img, recovery.img from another download ---->

Do not unzip the rom. rename it to the p769img.zip and put in on the root of your sd card and then go to your bootloader and let it install it from there. your custom .img and recovery will be deleted and replace with stock

Hmm. Try different ruu's to do this, one is bound to work

[Q] Help Me and my desire hd

Hello everyone,
six months I have the ROM Miui but then the phone is switched off
my htc desire hd will not start
when I start the ext4 recovery touch: the error recovery in safe mode
and I can not install a new ROM or do a wipe
Here is what hboot says:
*******AAHK**********
ACE PVT ENG S-OFF RL
HBOOT-0.85.2425
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.10.04.03_M
eMMC-boot
Apr 12 2011,00:55:45
I also see "HBOOT USB PLUG" when plugged in, and the computer does beep though no connection can be established. HTC Sync doesnt work (on a different computer), adb cannot connect and AAHK doesnt find a device.
The RUU from HTCDEV doesnt find the phone either....
What can I do? I tried to flash many PD98IMG.zip for example that of the stock and PD98IMG_cwmrecovery nothing but the result is always:
sd checking ....
loading .... [PD98DIAG.zip]
No Image
Loading .... [PD98DIAG.nbh]
No Image or Wrong Image
Loading .... [PD98img.zip]
No Image
Loading ...... [PD98img.nbh]
No Image or wrong image.
aspect of your answers and sorry for my english stupid
first method.. you can try flashing recovery from FASTBOOT mode..
download 4EXT recovery.img from here then extracted file and placed it to your adb/ sdk folder on your pc...then flash it through FASTBOOT mode with command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
second method...you can firstly flash RUU that already rooted by phiber2000 download from here.. through bootloader with PD98IMG.zip name of file..to fix your bootloader and at once replaced your hboot to the newest of ENG hboot..after that...you can continued with the first step for flashing recovery.img through FASTBOOT
hope this help..
thanks friend!
I flashed the recovery via fastboot commander but into recovery the ext4 partition is sometimes mounted and sometimes error mounting
the phone works via fastboot commander 1:51 :

[Q] HTC ONE X Screwed big time

Hi,
I have a HTC One X international version been in use for last 2 years. Just yesterday, I have unlocked the boot loader following instruction on HTCDev.com. Successfully rooted the phone following the instructions on onexroot.com. I have installed the ClockworkMod ROM on it. Until here things were fine. I have installed the ROM Manager from Android Market. Got the Super Admin. I have downloaded the Carbon ROM and Google Apps zip files to my phone. I have attempted install the Carbon Custom Rom on my phone, got the error status 7. this is where the problem started, by mistaken without taking the backup I have done the wipe data / factory reset. My phone is gone. It doesn't get identified in my Computer. Battery doesn't get charge. I have a clockworkmod recovery v5.8.2.7 on it.
Please please please help.. I did a sin..

First download the latest CWM 6.0.4.8 from CM11 thread or latest TWRP 2.7.1 or latest Philz recovery from original android section then install carbon rom. Carbon is based on 4.4.2 and you need latest recovery where support kitkat
EDIT: and something else you need to flash boot.img from rom.zip manually with the command fastboot flash boot boot.img , Rom Manager don't work on S-ON devices like ONE X
My phone shows battery level is too low to flash

Hi,
I am in Fastboot USB mode and the phone shows Battery level is too low to flash
I am unable to copy the files using fastboot commands. Also if I believe the charging levels are fluctuating and not consistent increasing.
Please advise.

first try to go in custom recovery and see if you can charge the phone from recovery if not Download THIS and connect the phone in fastboot and run the file chargeonex.bat
EDIT: no such rom like ClockworkMod ROM CWM is a recovery and you must to use command fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img
Thanks a Ton
Your file chargeONEX really did a magic. my phone is charging now, slowly .. slowly ...
May I please request for detailed step by steps for what to be done next? I am getting a hope that my phone will be back to work.. Please advise.

after you reach 3800mV flash custom recovery like Philz 5.15.9 and mount sd card copy what you need to the sd card after this if you whant to install 4.4.x you need to flash some of the latest recoverys on CWM,TWRP or Philz because Philz.5.15.9 will not work with the kitkat you can use it only to mount sd card and copy things to sd card. When you are done with the copy things flash the boot.img from rom.zip via fastboot and then flash the rom.zip from recovery and that is
Unable to boot in recovery with CWM 6.x
I have charged the battery for whole night and did a flash a CWM 5.8.4.0 and restarted the phone in recovery. After that I have flashed CWM 6.0 for KitKat and after that I am unable to restart the phone in Recovery mode. It stuck at the HTC Quietly brilliant screen.
Not sure where to start, I am totally confused with too many discussion forums with different suggestions. I am lost and my phone is in screwed up status.
What would you suggest as I am a novice person.
After flashing CWM 5.8.4.0 I am able to start phone in recovery, took back up, what is next? should I do a RUU... what is the funda of S-Off.
This is how my screen looks like now ..

M9 in bootloop with working download mode. S-ON, trying to restore

Hey guys,
I trying to help out with a friend’s HTC M9, which suddenly wouldn’t boot into Android. We can still access the bootloader and download mode.
The bootloader shows:
Software status: Modified
Locked
S-ON
Security Warning
I got it into download mode and tried fastboot getvar all, the relevant output is:
product: htc_himauhl
version 1.0
version-main: 3.35.206.13
mid: 0PJA10000
cid: o2___102
I had a look in the readme thread. My friend wanted to try to save the files but it seems impossible since we can’t get adb to work and can’t boot a recovery image, since that would require unlocking the bootloader which wipes the data anyways. Is that correct?
So afterwards, we tried to re-flash the official RUU. The phone is the o2 version, and the most recent RUU I could find was
Code:
0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_M60_SENSE70_MR_O2_UK_3.35.206.13_Radio_01.01_U11440792_93.00.51117G_F_release_464855_signed.zip
I tried flashing the file using htc_fastboot flash zip, which failed with error 12 and some output on the phone complaining about the locked bootloader, as well as ARUWizard which resulted in the same error. Sorry I don’t have a screenshot, since I had to try it remotely.
Am I correct in thinking, that the file I downloaded should be usable to reflash the original software? It’s signed and has the same version code and was downloaded correctly with the same hash.
Not quite sure what happened there, since I don’t physically have the device. Should we try the SD-card method next?
Thanks!
at RUU Section just do sdcard method
