Hello,
I read a lot of posts about this problem but i can't found something helpfully. I tried root my kindle fire but something went wrong and now I can't turn it on, I can't do anything. I tried to use any programs to unbrick but always the same problem- error- device not found. I bought factory cable and still the same situation. I don't now what I can to do. Maybe someone had the same problem and have any idea?

hello everyone
I just rooted my kindle fire and something gone wrong with it, I tried to follow some online tutorials to recover it but it went worse and now its totally off, but when I connect it through usb pc cable its only blinkering on and off! any help please?
Howdy everyone,
I was trying to install a new ROM on my kindle fire using TWRP but I must have goofed and deleted something because I bricked my kindle fire. My Kindle Fire is stuck on the kindle fire logo screen and it stays there without restarting. If I hold the power button the kindle fire will eventually shut down. When I plug in the kindle to my computer, the computer reads it and I can find it on my Device and Printers applet but I cannot open in My Computer. I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium. I've tried using the Kindle Fire Utility and the Kindle Fire Unbrick Utility and nothing works.
If anybody can help me unbrick … please please please help me out. Also, if you can write it out, step-by-step that would help me out since I’m still new to rooting.
Thank you.

how is it that you cannot get back into recovery do a wipe and reflash or restore a backup?
I don't know what's going on with it. I don't know what other info to tell you all but if you guys ask questions I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities. Thanks.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium
I share the same problem as you, unfortunately.
I've also tried the unbrick utility, however i can not get my windows premium to recognize the device as kindle. Tried to inistall the drivers. No avail on my end for any of the solutions provided.
Tried to figure out how to install drivers as ADB composite, not sure how that is done either.
Still searching out answers, hopefully someone can give us advice and send us in the right direction.
If i find a resolution, i will post here to assist you.
Patrick
Hi everyone,
as recommended I read all the guide of Kindle Fire for Beginners and looked around other topics of the forum but I still couldn't solve my problem
I rooted my mother's KF and instaled the jellybeam Rom in it.
Then I tried to do the same in my dad's KF, but something went wrong when I was using the KFU to root the KF.
All I did back then was to plug the kindle in my pc and run the KFU (the drivers were already installed and it was online)
After I installed the permanent root and the TWRP I tried to turn my kindle on but the screen remained black!
the on/off button lights up green but there is nothing in the screen
I turned it on and off several times but nothing appeared
Then I tried to fix it by using the kindle unbrick and flashing the stock version among other options but afterwards the KFU still recognizes the device and the status but the boot status is 0x5003
I looked around in the forum but I couldn't find a solution for my problem
can somebody please help me?
I'm pretty desperate and I think I might have screwed up my father's KF =/
sorry If I made some writing mistakes because inglish is not my mother tongue.

That's interesting. You may want to start with a Linux liveUSB and run Firekit.
Kindle fire 2 ,10.3.1
Hi guys, ive been reading on this forum for a few days now. Whilst i wait for a factory cable to try restore this kindle fire 2.
My brother tried to flash it and turn it into an android tablet. I was there when the rooting was done. And it was rooted using the Bin4ry Root and qemu root. And verified with a root checker pro apk. Which i had installed.
Now from here on out i was not there. He was trying to instal the cm10. First he ran the Automated Freedom-Boot and TWRP installer apk, from the device itself.
When it rebooted it displayed the kindle fire logo and then went straight to a red screen. Which is where he handed it to myself. Ive rooted and flashed a few phones, but the kindle is proper confusing me.
Anyhow. I ordered a factory cable. The cable came today. I hooked it up and tried to run Kindle fire first aid. And plug in the kindle. It shows a red light and a green flashing light and says fastboot. (Im asuming thats good)
However when i choose option 1 to restore the kindle. The highest option is 10.2.4 (i think, going by memory here). Not 10.3.1 which it is on. So i try that. It detects it in fast boot but says it cant reach or find directories.
Tried it restore from backup folder, again comes up with directory error. This thing is only 6 months old. Im not sure what else to try.
I was looking for kindle fire utility 2 to try but no luck finding the download link.
If anyone can help me id be greatly appreciative i have read the forums.
from what i understand the 2nd bootloader install did not go as plan and due to being a red screen it was not signed. And now a fastboot cable is required. Which i have.
Just not sure what to do now, ive tried restoring it. And it fails. I tried reading the forums. Searched for hours. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction.
Thank you for your patience and time

Ok guys i managed to fix it. I used option 2 the one other kf2 recovery option. Clicked yes yes, and it downloaded the 3 images, began writing them. Once done i held the power for 20 seconds, then turned it on and away it went.
COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH MYSELF RIGHT NOW.
just so you know this section is for the kindle fire 1st generations
this is for your kindle: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1789
I was recently using the KFU on a First Gen Kindle when Windows stops recognizing and it immediately stops at the Kindle Fire logo. The only way I could revert to normal mode was getting the PC to recognize it by doing the shorting method.
My problem is exactly like this one from a previous user:
"Ok I know tons of people think they have bricked their device, but usually it is just a soft brick....hopefully I am the same. I tried to root my kindle fire using KFU. Something happened, it didn't work. Now it just stays on the boot screen. In windows it isn't recognized, I have read the forums and know to reinstall the drivers, but I can't because Windows recognizes it as an unknown device, (code 43), so they won't install. I have tried using the unbrick utility, but it doesn't work since windows isn't recognizing the device. I have a mac too that won't recognize it, at least I don't think it does. Maybe there is a way to get the drivers installed I am missing, but I tried following all of the tutorials here, and its not wokring. Is it possible that I can still fix it, or is it done. Thanks for any help."
Now I want your opinions on what to do. The top touch screen is not recognizing and is NOT like before, touch screen is hardly reading. I don't know if this is software, but another thing is after turning it on each time the Kindle Fire Logo flashes 1once, goes black for about 3 seconds and flashes again before booting up.
Anybody have any suggestions.

Like I said on your other question thread you put in the Development section, questions go in Q&A. People there will answer your questions. If you put it in development, no one will answer because it's the wrong thread.
