I was about to say the same thing. If you Google the firmware number, there is a link from Samsung updates that gives you rapid gator and another but they both say the file is to big for free users to download. There is a 3rd link on that page also that says it's still uploading

It will be for use with Odin. You will have to extract it and use the tar file with Odin

At first I'm just going to do the usual root, deodex, etc but I have been working with Dr ketan from the n7100 and he should be able to patch the bootloader. Then who knows.......

If this is anything like the GS3 OTA it will install a new bootloader that will jack up any rollback to earlier android versions. Brick like symptoms will follow. Definitely not for me...
I'll wait for the chefs to whip it into shape...

[Q] xperia m stucked in the blank screen after sony logo

while installing xreality mod i did something with buil.prop file..now when i start my phone it gets blanked after sony logo.
i also tried to repair through sony companion..but i get following error

download flashtool, boot ur phone in flashmode and flash the .ftf file.. as easy as that.. -_-

Btw, I personally would recommend you to download latest one. Since, it has initial suoport for Xperia M. But, older ones will work too.. Your choice.. You know what to do next.

first download flash tool and a stock rom desired as your device.....then extract the firmware you have downloaded and place it into the firmware folder in flashtool folder....then open......then connect usb to pc to connecting to phone holding down volume button then the led will turn green from red....open flash tool and click on the thunder icon in the top left corner and click on flash mode and click ok...then select the firmware and click on flash it will show that device disconnected but don't worry it will take 5-10 min after that it will show a dialog box to disconnect your phone don't cancel that disconnect your phone and again connect usb to phone holding down volume down......just wait and done.....after flashing is done just restart your phone manually........

on N915fy rooted stock rom doesn't work.I must say that on stock rom there is no aircommandservice.apk
after install by twrp the old ugly aircommand appear and immediately aircommand crashes
i wish you could find a way to implement new aircommand.thk a lot for your kindness

If you don't need smart select, action memo and screen shot this is also a nice replacement. Over here

I found it on a chinese website and am merely posting it to help guys owning the SHV-E300 since I cound not find any version of MIUI anywhere else. The rom is smooth. Before creating this thread I tried contacting gtbluesky for permission but he is not replying. Anyway if he tells me no then I'll need to delete this thread.

Flash like you usually do. In TWRP or any good custom recovery make a backup of current rom, do factory reset, data, dalvic and cache wipe. Install the already downloaded "miui_E300_gtbluesky_5.11.22_V7_4.4changed.zip". Reboot. First boot may take a bit long time. If it is stuck at the samsung logo then boot in recovery and do a dalvik and cache wipe and reboot. Do not use MIUI updater to update your MIUI version directly.
This rom has solved my Connection problem or invalid MMI Code and Undefined additional service. Contact customer center problem.

some issues actually ( after applying changed update zip) no wifi, audio, imei and maybe some more that i don't know. backup and restore kernel didn't help. so i'm back to where i had started from ( to original MIUI I mean).

everyone fingerprint does not work
first the phone is very slow but later it will be very smooth.
