HTC One M8 - CM 11 M6 - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, just a qucik question, I've just received my new HTC One M8 and I want to wipe the htc and EE bloatware and install CM 11 M6 but just has a few questions:
- Does the CM Installer work yet with the CM 11 M6 version of the phone?
- Does CM 11 M6 support the new camera on the HTC One M8 with the second lens that records depth?
- Are there any major known issues with the HTC One M8 and CM?
Thanks in advance

The most used custom rom for HOX is ARHD i think.I've seen many people who use this rom because is as close as the stock rom as it can.

Official CyanogenMod 10 nightlies

CyanogenMod team has finally made the official CM10 NIGHTLIES for HTC One X live.
Are you enthusiastic to try out the smoothest rom on the beast?
Get it here : http://get.cm
Note: Since the builds aren't ready to be your daily drivers. Make a nandroid before trying.
Happy Flashing!!
Can't find our device.
I cant see the Endeavor listed either.....
It was the evita (AT&T One X) they just released nightly builds for wasn't it?
Me neither.....
Would say wrong forum?
He meant probably Evita, and not our HOX...
False call..

[Q] Roms (CM11 with Sense)

As you can tell from the title, I was wondering if there is a rom for the T-Mobile HTC One (M8) that runs CyanogenMod 11 (or at least its theming program) and have Sense 6 too? I like the Sense 6 that's on my phone and have been testing the CM11 on my other phone (Nexus 5).
If not, is there a way to put Sense 6 unto my HTC ONe M8 when I put CM11, PA, or something similar on it?
Thank you for your time.
You can flash between aosp and sense roms as long as you don't flash the Google play conversion ruu. That will change the partition sizes and you won't be able to simply flash a sense Rom again. I've been going back and forth between the2 and find sense to be the better, more complete software. It also runs smoother and more battery efficient in my opinion

[Q] Cyanogen for desire 816.

Hi,
I'm new to this whole cyanogenmod thing. I was directed here from cyanogenmod forums.
Anyway I'm thinking of buying the desire 816 but I really like the look of cyanogenmod and I was wondering if there is a cyanogenmod release for this phone?

hardware requirements
well, it seems Android 5 requires less ram to operate than previous versions of Android(Sandwich-Kitkat).......our Desire has 0.5GB Ram, which should be more than enough for new OS(Android 5).
cheers
My first Android phone was HTC Desire white edition with Amoled screen and i love it . Now im using HTC One but if someone do a Rom for the Desire to have android L i will be sooooo happy
I also hope that somebody might port a Lollipop ROM to HTC Desire or develop their own ROM.
Background:
I have an old Tablet (TF101) which is now over 3.5 years old and was shipped with Honeycomb 3.0. It sucked! So I rooted the device, installed custom roms etc. Today I am running Lollipop KatKiss #14b, and it is amazing what an such old device can deliver based on performance. I touch on an app in the launcher and the app appears nearly immediately - wow! Previous ROMs (4.4.4, 4.3, 4.2.x, 4.1.2,...) are much slower. I love ART and would love this feature on the HTC Desire as well. Also, F2FS seems f*cking interessting (up to twice the speed compared to ext4). An HTC Custom ROM with F2FS and ART support based on Android Lollipop 5.0 (incl. a Apps2SD solution) would be absolutly great, am I right?
